This thesis deals with regional history and possibilities of its didactic use in teaching of History at lower - secondary school. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the characterization of the project methods and regional history. There is also introduced the topic of Operation SILVER A in Pardubice and the evaluation of its importance in history of the region. The practical part of the thesis presents a design of the project with possibility of integration into the teaching of History at lower - secondary school. The results of project which has been implemented with pupils of lower - secondary school Základní škola Pardubice Benešovo náměstí during May and June 2014 and suggestions for development of the project are presented in the final chapter. My dissertation is dedicated to the problem of media construction of history in the case of the television series Vyprávěj. It concentrates on how much the series' adaptation of historical events and normal life in the era of normalization between 1968 and 1977 fits reality by comparing concrete historical events and key societal activities with their adaptation in the series. The work focuses on three special categories - fundamental historical events of that era, people's normal life and the lives of dissidents, with a final objective of finding out how well the series' adaptation matches the true history of the normalization era. First, I delimit the problem of television series in general and address the concept of seriality on the basis of the professional literature. Then I focus on the media construction of reality and representation history in culture, especially in television series. Because the series Vyprávěj addresses recent history, I also mention collective memory. After that I concentrate only on the series Vyprávěj and the problem of normalization in Czechoslovakia, in which era the story takes place. The second part of the dissertation is dedicated to concrete events of the era - how they really happened according to the professional literature and narration of contemporary...

Title: The club development of american football in the Czech Republic In the first part of this thesis American football is introduced, explaining basic game principles and describing the game so that the reader can imagine what the sport is all about. The second part then focuses on examining the emergence of particular American football clubs in the Czech Republic. The whole period is divided into several stages, with a strong focus on finding a common denominator of individual events. The aim is to map American football in the Czech Republic since the establishment of the first club up to the present with emphasis on main themes and key periods. The theme of the work " Education at totality - oral history and literature" is the comparison of written literature and other sources with specific testimony of a man who was educated at totalitarian regime from primary school to postgraduate studies. It is based on the assumption that childhood experiences are what leaves a deep trace in man for the rest of his life. The main goal of the paper is to explain the formation of children's consciousness and consequences associated with it. An important role in this period occupies school. For a comprehensive view, therefore, the work is divided into four parts. The first part is devoted to general psychological aspect of totalitarianism and democracy. The second part is devoted to transform education after the onset of a totalitarian regime to power. The third part concentrates on the period of consolidation of the totalitarian regime in Czechoslovakia. The fourth part focuses on the specific testimony of the respondent. This thesis deals with the issues of contraception from history to the present day. The thesis is made of two parts. First part is theoretical and deals with development and application of contraception, i have also included pros and cons of each one. For the sake of better understanding this work contains information about reproductive organs, menstruation and ovulation cycles. First part also contains inclusion of contraception to an education at school. Awareness of contraception is dealt with in a practical part of this thesis. Practical part is in a form of survey. The results of the surface analysis of selected high schools and also a recommendation in a file do reproductive healthcare.

The submitted diploma work deals with the history of children's choirs in Central Bohemia since 1989 until the present days. In some cases it takes us even further into history. In the theoretical part, it focuses on the history of children's choirs, their member composition, age distribution and the work of choirmasters. The exploratory part covers the whole area of the Central Bohemia region according to its districts. It gives information about children's choirs, their numbers at different schools, their grouping set on the basis of the types of schools where they function. There is a questionnaire attached to the diploma work in which the choirmasters give information concerning history and current situation in their choirs. The submitted questions are then analysed. The research data are subsequently presented both in the written and graphic forms and their interpretation is included into the theoretical part of the diploma work. This thesis focuses on the historical development of radio reportage. The topic includes both political and technological aspects which radio reportage underwent within the Czech environment. All historical periods are described using concrete radio reportages which were broadcast during given terms. The reader can imagine how the radio reporters dealt with first the Germans and then the Soviets. It was the Czech Radio and its reporters who helped Czech people to overcome certain periods in our history. And so in this thesis we can find reportages broadcast during the second world war, right after the end of this war and during the highlights of the communist era - 1968 and 1989. This publication considers the original sources which are kept in the archive of the Czech Radio which is called Archivní a programové fondy Českého rozhlasu. However, this thesis also includes some contributions of contemporary journalists who are interested in history. It should help readers to improve the knowledge of this topics and to organize the development of radio reportage.

The aim of this Master's Thesis called The Nature Trail of Selected Manors of Prague 5 in Terms of the Regional History Learning Programme for Upper Secondary School Students is the creation of the historical study with the didactic overlap primarily focused on the regional history knowledge in case of the upper-secondary school students. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The former is interested in the description, comparison and introdcution of the particular homesteads. It also covers their development in the area of Prague 5 in its historical and cultural context. The latter, practical, part deals with the didactic aim to make the upper- secondary school students become familiar with the historical, social and culturally historical aspects of people's life in the given area, taking into account their mutual context. The didactic focus is given on the knowledge of the region with the respect to the educational area A Man and Society. This part also includes the draft of the worksheets intended to the upper-secondary school students in accordance with the outcomes required by Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education. This theses is divided into two main sections. First one, called TV show České století in scholarly discourse, is dealing with the TV show České století in the context of historiographical evolution, memory studies and historians' disputes and comments. Second one, called Utilization of TV show České století for teaching history, is practical and elaborates on using the TV show for teaching history classes. This part contains a complex approach for teaching history classes about the Velvet revolution at gymnasiums using epizode The very last hooray, including the historical, didactic and methodological analysis.

The thesis is splited to the several section, which is devoted to problems related to basic concepts, history of sports activities of disabled people and historical view of the Paralympic Games. I also focused on the description of the individual sports that are on the summer and winter Paralympic Games. One of the important section is the classification for disability and classification for sports. In the section the achievements of our athletes we find out which games are the most successful for Czech Republic, which sport is the best for us, which disability and gender dominates gain medals and in the end, who is our most successful Paralympian.
