Annotation: This diploma thesis is focused on the synagogue buildings in the seven districts of the Pilsen region according to their architectural styles. Individual chapters describe the Jewish settlements in Europe and current Czech Republic territory in the historical context, the types of synagogues built in our country, their architecture, interiors, and the fate of synagogues of the Pilsen region. Information sources include available literature, regional writings, especially from the collection published by Hugo Gold, and publications about Jewish sites, especially from Jiří Fiedler, Blanka Rozkošná and Pavel Frýda's contributions on the website "Defunct municipalities". Information on the history of Jewish settlement in particular are based on the book "The Jews of medieval Western Christian world", the author of the book by Robert Chazan and "History of the Jews in Bohemia and Moravia", author Tomáš Pěkný.

Title: The development of Boxing in town Most from its beginnings to the present. Objectives: The main Topic of this thesis is to obtain information about the beginning of boxing in the city Most. Describing of the development of boxing in town Most until now is another task. Methods: It is fundamental to define the main problem and reason of this thesis. It is very important to gather relevant and verified information. Title: History of skydiving - precision landing Objectives of work: The aim of this work is to map complexly and integraly the history of skydiving with a focus on racing discipline of precision landing. Due to insufficient number of relevant compact resources and web sites, so the work becomes the first file that holds the issue in a comprehensive manner and develop a unified overview of the analysis problem. Method: This is a theoretical work, the kernel of the work will be at tracing specialized publications and websites, collecting information, filtering the relevant data in their comprehensive use. Results: Objective of thesis was largely achieved. It turned out that the topic is very broad to draw up a detailed summery of the entire history of the research question. The topic was therefore processed generally and is more like a preview than a perfect description. Intended overview was given. 3 Abstract Title of a document: The threat of terrorism Aim of a document: 1) Brief history of terrorism in the close historical overview of key periods in terms of negotiations, who bearing signs of terrorist acts. 2) Clearly classify most famous terrorist groups. 3) To map and analyse the awareness members of the Police of the Czech Republic about possible threats arising from terrorism. 4) Map their awareness possibility of eliminating any consequences arising in this context. It focuses on particular formations and step sequences in accordance with the Synchronized skating rules. Method: The thesis is of a descriptive character. The methods used in the thesis are controlled observation and interview. Literature, experience and information gained in international meetings and competitions, further consultations with international coaches and technical specialists are commonly used in the thesis. Results: The thesis gives clear description of the Synchronized skating rules for Senior category. It shows the choreography of the short program of senior team Daisies. Title: History of the Czech fencing since its beginning till 1938. Objectives: Analyze historical development of the Czech fencing since its beginning to 1938. I would like to pay attention to the development of the Czech fencing federation, the most important results, the World fencing championship in Piešťany and also one of the greatest Czech club ČŠK Riegel. Methods: Most of the information I got in the National Archives in Prague. Moreover I got the publications and copies of magazines in the library of fencing club ČŠK Riegel, where they have history of their club in sheets from year to year. I used yearbooks and annual reports, where were reported the most important moments in the history of the federation. I also used the publications received from the Czech fencing association and publications dedicated to the sport of fencing in general. St. Adalbert's Church in Jílové by Prague is one of the oldest monuments in the city and its story is essentially connected with the history of the city and its role as a significant gold deposit. Therefore, in research of his past we should distinguish between two lines of studies - the fate of the church as a parish benefice and the history of this remarkable building and as a historical monument. In the introduction of the thesis we meet the history of the royal city of goldmining, watch the beginnings of his fame, the great boom in the 14th century, the change of conditions after the Hussite wars and the gradual withdrawal of its significance, despite the apparent efforts to restore his position. In following chapter, we see the development of the parish, staffing the benefices, pastors' personalities and their little stories. An interesting point in this chapter is the construction of a Franciscan monastery in Jílové, which temporarily took over the management of the entire parish. In the second section of the thesis we see the establishment of the church-building and its initial form, as well as its reconstruction and modifications to the current appearance. In my diploma thesis, I looked at part of Prague 8 - Libeň, in the kontext of the life and work of writer Bohumil Hrabal. I tried to show Libeň in the twentieth century, when the famous writer lived there. At first I made efforts to describe Bohumil Hrabal's life and Libeň, how we can find it in his books. Than I outlined the history of Libeň. In the main part I tried to show real locations in Libeň, which Bohumil Hrabal visited and he liked them. It was mainly Libeň castle, a lot of views of hills in Libeň, the vicinity of Vltava river and Rokytka brook and atmosphere of pubs in Libeň. The diploma thesis shows Libeň in last century especially in the kontext of Hrabal's trialogy Weddings in the house.
