Rod Bubnů z Litic v moderní historii / Bubna of Litic Family in the modern History

Lechmannová, Monika January 2014 (has links)
This thesis attempts to map the history of the Buben of Litice family. It describes its history since the end of the 14th century, its property ownership, and its social status. However, the thesis focuses on the second half of the 19th century, the first half of the 20th century and the person of count Michael Mario Otakar Bubna of Litice (1864-1949). Count Michael Bubna of Litice was the head of the family Buben of Litice precisely in this period. He became the last owner of the Doudleby Castle and the surrounding domain before the communist takeover. Count Michael belonged to the old generation of aristocracy, which had been raised in the obeisance to tradition and dignity. During his life, he witnessed the collapse of old-fashioned values of Austria- Hungary, the public disclaim of its old traditions and principles, and, furthermore, the consecutive loss of the family property. This thesis describes the position of the Buben family among the Austro- Hungarian aristocracy, its fate in the postwar era, as well as in the time of the World War II, when the son of count Michael Bubna of Litice, Mikuláš, became the minister of agriculture in the Protectorate government of the general Alois Eliáš. Key words: Nobility, arictocracy, the Buben of Litice family, history, count Michael Bubna of Litic

Schwarzenberská primogenitura. Hlubocko-krumlovská větev / Schwarzenberg's Primogeniture. The Hluboká and Krumlov Branch

Spalová, Michaela January 2011 (has links)
This thesis deals with the primogeniture (the Hluboká and Krumlov Branch) of the distinguished Schwarzenberg dynasty of princes. The Schwarzenberg originally come from the German Lower Franconia and they became permanently rooted in Bohemia as late as in the half of 17th century. The division of the dynasty into the primogeniture (the Hluboká and Krumlov Branch) and the secundogeniture (the Orlík Branch) occurred in 1802 by virtue of the stipulation of the last will of Ferdinand of Schwarzenberg from 1703. The Schwarzenberg's primogeniture owned an extensive landed property, whose greatest part was situated on the territory of Bohemia. Its members were renowned mainly for being exceptionally capable landlords who succeeded in creating a perfectly sophisticated economic system on their estates, belonging among the most advanced in Europe at the time. Their activity culminated in the second half of the 19th century and also at the beginning of 20th century. However, the ensuing years were not so successful for the Hluboká and Krumlov Schwarzenberg Branch. After the origination of an independent Czechoslovakia, the family lost a great part of their property in Bohemia due to a land reform. During the Second World War, their entire property was confiscated by Gestapo on behalf of the Greater German...

Československá produkční historie Amadea / The Czechoslovak production of the Amadeus movie

Mandová, Petra January 2012 (has links)
This thesis brings an insight to the production practice of commission with capitalist countries in Czechoslovak cinematography during the communist era. One particular example is the most successful commission movie, Amadeus. The production of the film was very specific because of the director Milos Forman - American citizen with Czech origins, returned to his native country as a successful Hollywood director. This paper wants to examine the official position of the state, which was that emigration was forbidden and the director had to negotiate terms with the political leaders. In itself a clash of two different worlds, two different codes of ethics and two different life styles while rooted in the same culture. This situation caused incidents of misunderstanding sometimes even absurd moments. This work primarily deals with the 'Czechoslovak stance' throughout the stages of creation, from the concept of the movie to preparations, negotiation of film locations in Prague, selection of the crew, actors, making the costumes, up to the shooting itself. Hence the focus is especially on complicated negotiations with Tyl Theatre and Archbishop's palace. Furthermore presence of Forman aroused a special interest from the Secret Police. Keywords Milos Forman, Amadeus, production, comission movie

Historický vývoj sociálního zabezpečení a jeho modelů / Historical Evolution of Social Security and its Types

Leyer, Petr January 2011 (has links)
Historical Evolution of Social Security and its Types The topic of the thesis is "Historical Evolution of Social Security and its Types" and its main purpose is to describe how social security works during different eras and also to analyze how particular points of view have changed. Various approaches occurred in more than three thousand-year history of social security. Some of them are up-to-date even today and another are useless for practical implementation into contemporary social security systems. This comparison is also one goal of the study. I have chosen the topic because every individual is interested in its living standard in case of getting ill, becoming disabled, old age etc. but there are only few studies examining social security from legal angles. The paper is divided into three main chapters. First chapter is introductory and composes of three parts. Part One defines basic terminology used in the paper e.g. social security and its special Czech equivalent "sociální zabezbečení" as well as social services and social welfare. Part Two explain aims and aspects of social security. And finally Part Three presents basic principles which create some sort of ideological background. Second chapter is subdivided into six parts and each of them has from three to six subparts. The whole chapter focuses...

Vývoj Vysoké školy obchodní v Praze

Šafránek, Radek January 2006 (has links)
