Service-oriented architecture (SOA) approach has become the mainstream of today¡¦s systems development technique. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is becoming the major tool for modeling the platform independent model (PIM) of a SOA system. Once the PIM is constructed, the results can then be transformed into its platform specific model based on the model driven architecture (MDA) approach and a specific platform. To develop a SOA system, the developer can then use the platform and choose the proper components to construct services and then business processes. However, the detailed guideline for this type of construction based on a specific platform is lacking. Therefore, this study presents a methodology which provides guidelines for the construction from components, service to business process for a SOA system based on the IBM WebSphere platform. The research methodology is articulated using the design science research methodology. A usability evaluation with a hypothesized case is performed to demonstrate its applicability. The results indicated that with this proposed method, the system developer can effectively use the IBM WebSphere platform to construct the business process based on the PIM of a SOA system.

Der Vortrag stellt zwei Filesysteme aus der kommerziellen Welt vor die derzeit auf Linux portiert werden: JFS von IBM und XFS von SGI. Es wird ein Ueberblick ueber die beiden Dateissysteme, ihre Eigenschaften und ihre Portiertung gegeben.

Efficient coordination among software developers is a key aspect in producing high quality software on time and on budget. Several factors, such as team distribution and the structure of the organization developing the software, can increase the level of coordination diffi- culty. However, the problem runs deeper as it is often unclear which developers should coordinate their work. In this dissertation, we propose leveraging the concept of socio-technical congruence (which contrasts coordination needs with actual coordination) to improve the social inter- actions among developers by devising an approach and its implementation into a recom- mender system that identifies relevant coordinators. Our unit of analysis is the integration build, whose outcome represents the quality of coordination. After development, this ap- proach was applied in a number of IBM Rational Team Concert development team case studies, as well as a large student project at the University of Victoria, Canada, and Aalto University, Finland. Since each software product is just the latest integration build, it is of utmost importance for the industry to ensure a failure free build. While developing an approach to improve coordination among software developers we uncovered that unmet coordination needs, as well as the communication structure in a team, have a significant influence on build outcome. / Graduate

El propósito de este trabajo es demostrar la influencia que genera el añadir distintas dosis de una sola fibra de polipropileno en los concretos f’c=210kg/cm2 y f’c=245kg/cm2, demostrando la reducción del número de fisuras en sus espesores y longitudes por medio de colocados de concreto instantáneos con distintas dosis (CSF, CRF-0.4(20), CRF-0.7(20) y CRF-1.2(20), los cuales serán analizados en su estado plástico generando registros de control de fisuras para cada dosificación, estos datos serán procesados por medio de gráficos de barras (Excel) y pruebas estadísticas (IBM SPSS Statisstics V. 23), por lo que analizados en conjunto nos muestra que; si se reduce la presencia de fisuras en los concretos f’c=210 kg/cm2, f’c=245kg/cm2 y adicionados logrando obtener para el concreto f’c=210 kg/cm2 la dosis optima de 1200gr de fibra de polipropileno que reduce el espesor en un 50.12% y su longitud en un 7.92%, para el concreto f’c=245 kg/cm2 no se encuentra una dosis adecuada que disminuya tanto el espesor como la longitud respectivamente. La influencia de las fibras de polipropileno en la resistencia es mínima disminuyendo su resistencia de 4.07% a 15.24% los concretos adicionados con respecto al CSF210, los concretos adicionados aumentan de 8.67% a 18.12% con respecto al CSF245. Con esto recomendamos el uso dela fibra de polipropileno para la reducción de fisuras por retracción plástica tanto en espesor como en longitud, mas no para el aumento de resistencia del concreto.
