Den här uppsatsen vill undersöka om - hur - och i vilken utsträckning, framförallt språklärare kan och vill anknyta till förstaspråkselevens eget språk och egen kultur i klassrumsundervisningen. En annan aspekt som arbetet ville belysa var att se om och hur mycket lärarna var medvetna i sitt förhållningssätt gentemot dessa elever. Ytterliggare en annan aspekt var att finna eventuella orsaker för olika förhållningssätt. Undersökningsmetoden är baserat på lärar- och elevintervjuer. Samanlagt frågades 4 st. elever med olika första språk och 4 st. språklärare med olika språkkombinationer och bakgrund. Både vuxna och elever tillfrågades på en grundskola här i Stockholm. De inspelade intervjuerna sammanställdes som enskilda brättelser under resultatet. Utifrån dessa personliga berättelser förs sedan en diskussion, där lärarens personlighet, egna erfarenheter, kulturtillhörigheten, ointresse, rädsla för det okända och okunskap kan ha samband med att vara mer eller mindre intreserad av att sträva mot en integration av förstaspråkseleven i undervisningen.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur ensamkommande ungdomars skolform och språkutveckling ser ut. Detta har gjorts med hjälp av tre semistrukturerade intervjuer med personal i Umeå kommuns skola och boende som är insatta i ungdomarnas vardag. Studien bygger på kvalitativ metod och ett narrativt skrivsätt, där intervjupersonernas egna formuleringar fått ta plats. Uppsatsens resultat visar att social delaktighet hänger samman med ungdomarnas möjlighet till språkutveckling. Uppsatsen visar också att god gruppdynamik och samhörighet för ensamkommande ungdomar är viktigt och att ensamkommande ungdomar tenderar att känna sig malplacerade i mötet med ungdomar med svenska som förstaspråk. Vidare diskuteras även möjligheterna till språkutveckling och hur pass centralt det är att upprätthålla god kunskap i modersmålet för att uppnå goda resultat i skolan. Sammanfattningsvis handlar studien om hur integrerade eller segregerade skolformer påverkat ensamkommande barns språkutveckling samt möjligheten till integrering.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children. An important hindrance to the integration that the social workers illustrate is their experiences of trauma which have to be dealt with before they can successfully complete the process of integration. The social workers indicate school, the sheltered accommodation, social services and voluntary organizations as the operators that are most important for the integration. All interviewees also believe that what society looks like and what values that are prevailing ​​are affecting the unaccompanied childrens' integration. The social workers report that they are working to strengthen and motivate the unaccompanied children to become a part of society but not all are receptive to it.

Title: Integration of unemployed immigrants into the labor market in Gävle Authors: Ibrahim Adan Issack and Ekaterina Ivanova The aim of this study was to investigate unemployed immigrant’s description of how they perceive the labor market in Gävle. Qualitative method face-to-face interviews were used to gather data. The results of this study shows that an unemployed immigrant seems to encounter hinders and opportunities in the labor market. The following five issues were described as being most important in influencing immigrants’ employment opportunities in Gävle: Swedish language knowledge, previous education, discrimination, social network and family situation. Ecological system theory and previous research were used to analyze the gathered results.  Key words: integration, immigrant, labor market.
