Hypermedia APIs and their use for enhancing integration of IT services / Hypermedia APIs and their use for enhancing integration of IT services

Annau, Mike January 2016 (has links)
This paper's aim is to design and implement a tool transforming REST Web APIs into APIs which facilitate the integration process. The improvement of integration is mainly divided into two parts: The embedding of semantic data in order to establish a common understanding of objects, properties and relations and the possibility to navigate through the API structure in an easy and automated way. The theoretical part is dealing with the fundamentals of Web APIs, today's related trends and the API's shortages and points of improvement. Another objective of this paper is to compare current data standards of output formats for so called Hypermedia APIs, whereas the most suitable components will be chosen as the output format of this paper's resulting tool. The practical part is dealing with the design and implementation of the tool being developed. Included, there is the description of test scenarios, related benefits for the tool's users as well as a final evaluation of the resulting tool and a discussion of the tool's future potential. The benefits of the tool are evaluated in a case study.

Ceder, Jasmine January 2018 (has links)
This study aims to investigate and create a better understanding of why the different regions of Sweden have chosen their integration platform within the healthcare sector. Due to the decentralisation and political governance there is a complexity within the healthcare sector various integration platforms. The author has looked at the choices that the different regions have made based on strategic, economical, technical, operational and cultural characteristics. The various regions size is also investigated as a factor, making a distinction between higher and lower populated regions.   An integration platform acts as an intermediary, allowing the various systems to communicate with each other without having a point-to-point connection. At present there is no integration platform at the forefront of supporting all the different needs of the different regions, each region finds the solution that is best for itself.

Qualité des Observations pour les systèmes Sensor Webs : de la théorie à la pratique / Quality of Observation within Sensor Web systems : from theory to practice

Auger, Antoine 20 April 2018 (has links)
Sensor Web systems are computer middlewares that aim at bridging the gap between sensors and applications. As true mediators, the popularity of such systems has steadily grown since the appearance of the very first sensors. More recently, the emergence of new paradigms such as the Internet of Things (IoT) has completely revolutionized the sensing research field. As a consequence, Sensor Webs should now cope with new challenges pertaining to integration, Quality of Observation (QoO) and system adaptation. In this research work, we propose a novel generation of Sensor Webs able to adapt the delivered QoO in an autonomic and application-specific manner (QASWS). First, we introduce a generic framework intended for researchers and developers who want to conceive their own QASWS solution. Then, we instantiate this framework and propose a prototype of an integration platform for QoO assessment as a service (iQAS). After evaluating its performances, we present three use cases for the iQAS platform. Finally, we conclude this work by foreseeing the benefits of some transverse paradigms with regard to QoO in the near future.

iipax one as a Service in Cloud Integration Platforms : A Comparison of Zapier, IFTTT and Power Automate

Shamon, Olivia, Carlberg, Lucas January 2020 (has links)
This thesis covers the theme of cloud integration platforms as a service with Ida Infronts information and task management system iipax one. The premise of this thesis is to research the most optimal cloud integration platform and find what cloud-based functions that are useful for iipax one. Using a cloud integration platform with iipax one could be beneficial for the users as it allows them to automate simple repetitive tasks. But choosing an integration platform is not a simple undertaking as there are many available platforms, all with their own unique features. To find a suitable platform first we investigated potential platforms which revealed Power Automate, Zapier and IFTTT as candidates. Our comparison based on a literature study showed that Power Automate is most suitable for iipax one. Finally, we created a prototype implementation to integrate iipax one with Power Automate. The conclusion is that Power Automate is the best suited platform for iipax one. Although Zapier is a close second. For the useful functions we concluded that it is more important with templates that users can adopt rather than a multitude of triggers and actions.

Věrnostní program platebních karet, řešení nad DWH / Loyalty program of payment cards, solution based on DWH

Jersák, Pavel January 2010 (has links)
This diploma thesis is covering topics of customer's loyalty, loyalty programs in banking and mainly topic is loyalty programs of payment cards in banking industry. First theoretical parts is guiding us though concept of customer's loyalty in banking industry and is describing specifics of this loyalty compared to loyalty to sales businesses. Further, this thesis is trying to show opportunities to be used to support customer's loyalty in bank with participation of credit and debit cards. In this sense, these payment cards are those that enable client's entry into the loyalty program and into the advantages that is loyalty program offering. Further, this thesis is describing interesting concept of loyalty program that is closely coupled with business partners that give opportunities to make the program very variable and interesting for customers. Practical part of this thesis is describing basis for technologies to be used while deploying the loyalty program and is discussing two main technical concepts regarding loyalty system integration with current bank information systems. One of those is further discussed and described from the point of view technical realization in common data warehouse systems. Main contribution of this work is preview of approaches to payment card loyalty programs and also preview of possibilities in way the loyalty program can be integrated with data warehouse currently deployed in the bank.

Plateforme autonomique dirigée par les modèles pour la construction d'interfaces multimodales dans les environnements pervasifs / Model-Driven Autonomic Framework for Building Multimodal Interfaces in Pervasive Environments

Avouac, Pierre-Alain 07 February 2013 (has links)
N pervasive environments, with the proliferation of communicating devices in the environments (e.g., remoter controller, gamepad, mobile phone, augmented object), the users will express their needs or desires to an enormous variety of services with a multitude of available interaction modalities, expecting concurrently the environment and its equipment to react accordingly. Addressing the challenge of dynamic management at runtime of multimodal interaction in pervasive environments, our contribution is dedicated to software engineering of dynamic multimodal interfaces by providing: a specification language for multimodal interaction, an autonomic manager and an integration platform. The autonomic manager uses models to generate and maintain a multimodal interaction adapted to the current conditions of the environment. The multimodal interaction data-flow from input devices to a service is then effectively realized by the integration platform. Our conceptual solution is implemented by our DynaMo platform that is fully operational and stable. DynaMo is based on iPOJO, a dynamic service-oriented component framework built on top of OSGi and on Cilia, a component-based mediation framework.
