Påhls, Jonny January 2006 (has links)

It is the technical part of the project that will be discussed in this paper and it was divided in two parts, prototype development and software for the mobile phone. The project resulted in a prototype and an application for the mobile phone. The prototype and mobile phone set of their alarms when they come to far apart. The user has the option to change settings in the mobile phone application that affects both phone and tag and to add/remove tags. Both application and tag meet the requirements set in the technical specification.

Optimizacinių metodų tyrimas mobiliojo ryšio aplinkoje / The research of optimization methods using mobile devices

Matulevičius, Arvydas 05 June 2006 (has links)
The work goal is to study fundamental optimization models, their analyze methods, algorithms to solve optimization tasks use them in mobile devices. The task is using J2ME write an application which base is Pareth Optimum method for mobile device. During power-stroke assimilate MIDP v2.0 and CLDC v1.1, go into the optimization theory knowledge, learn to align mathematics and informatics methods solving tasks, study optimization problems classes and their methods, score skills rating practical tasks their complexity choosing best methods to solve them.

Development of computer vision algorithms using J2ME for mobile phone applications.

Gu, Jian January 2009 (has links)
This thesis describes research on the use of Java to develop cross-platform computer vision applications for mobile phones with integrated cameras. The particular area of research that we are interested in is Mobile Augmented Reality (AR). Currently there is no computer vision library which can be used for mobile Augmented Reality using the J2ME platform. This thesis introduces the structure of our J2ME computer vision library and describes the implementation of algorithms in our library. We also present several sample applications on J2ME enabled mobile phones and report on experiments conducted to evaluate the compatibility, portability and efficiency of the implemented algorithms.

Vývoj SIP klienta v JavaME / SIP client development in JavaME

Janeček, Aleš January 2008 (has links)
This thesis analyzes various alternatives of SIP protocol implementation on Java Micro Edition devices. This analysis is especially concentrated on SIP protocol, SIP API (JSR-180) and the development in contemporary mobile data networks. I design a midlet for a mobile phone SIP client on the basis of this analysis. The design is especially concentrated on communication, registration and text mesage transfer.

Univerzální mobilní komunikační platforma pracující s technologií bluetooth / Universal mobile communication platform using the bluetooth technology

Sopko, Richard January 2009 (has links)
This master’s thesis is focused on field of communication technologies in mobile devices in personal WPAN type wireless networks. Work consists of three basic parts. First part provides overview of personal WPAN wireless networks and is specialized on Bluetooth technologies and its opportunities of communication between mobile devices. Second part deals with an opportunity of using programming language Java 2 Micro Edition in work with Bluetooth technology. Key point of this work is third part which includes scheme of conception of a communication platform and creating of application designed for mobile phones. Created application enables communication by means of changing files and written conversation of two or more people in real time by Bluetooth connection.

Karetní hra Taroky pro mobilní zařízení / Card Game Tarot For Mobile Devices

Sykala, Vít January 2010 (has links)
This thesis describes development of the Tarot game for mobile devices. The game is developed in Java - J2ME. The application allows to play Tarot to one through four people. The player intelligence represented by the mobile device is implemented as an expert system. The expert system rules can be changed without necessity to recompile the application. Designed and implemented expert system uses a lightweight version of Prolog language as a knowledge base. The system requires the rules of precisely defined form specified in this thesis.

Implementing Mixed Reality Games for Mobile Language Learning

Fotouhi-Ghazvini, Faranak, Earnshaw, Rae A., Moeini, A., Robison, David J., Excell, Peter S. January 2011 (has links)
No / The implementation of a mixed reality game using the J2ME platform is presented. The different levels of the game environment are presented and also the game navigation system which uses QR code and Bluetooth. Its relationship to other environments such as iPhone and Android, the portability issues, and the hardware and software specification for the game deployment are discussed. The game aims to stimulate and maintain a conversation between learners and their teachers, and also between learners and learners, whilst being immersed in the story of the game. It is found that the learners become more competent through enculturation, externalising their ideas, and socialising within their zone of proximal development.
