Mobiltelefonbaserad kommunikation i gymnasieskolan

Fredriksson, Mathias January 2008 (has links)
Fredriksson, Mathias (2008) Mobiltelefonbaserad kommunikation i gymnasieskolan. Mobile communication in upper secondary school.

Unknown Date (has links)

Det trådlösa stetoskopet : kardiovaskulär data över GPRS / The wireless stethoscope : cardiovascular data over GPRS

Asplund, Tobias, Hellerfelt, Rikard January 2004 (has links)
In the area of telemedicine practical methods are wantedfor a doctor to quickly and reliably be able to set a preliminary diagnose. By using GPRS stethoscope sound can be sent over long distances. In that way a patient can be examined without having to meet his or her doctor. This report explains the work of constructing a wireless stethoscope using GPRS.</p>

Telefonkataloghantering för mobila enheter

Svensson, Per-Erik, Skoglund, Sebastian January 2007 (has links)
<p>The PhonePages of Sweden is a company that develops software for mobile units, especially cell phones. This thesis treats the development of, and contingencies for, a mobile phone directory, using the limited resources found in a mobile unit. The project was implemented and executed at The PhonePages with the intention of creating a product to sell to a third party.</p><p>By studying different solutions, their benefits and drawbacks, an abstract picture of the product was constructed. Problems covered include compatibility problems caused by todays platform diversity as well as problems with saving, organizing and presenting data.</p><p>The main goal was to create a phone directory which does not make external information retrievals. The service should contain both company and personal information, with name and phonenumber. Complete address information should also be available. The application should also manage different priorities and logotypes for the company information. The application, that emerged as a result of our work at The PhonePages, works independently, without making connections to the Internet and is completely implemented in J2ME, all according to the requirement specification. In other words, the analysis of the different solutions led to a working application.</p>

Automatically determine route and mode of tranport using a gps enabled phone

Gilani, Himanshu 01 June 2005 (has links)
A system consisting of a GPS-enabled phone and a database has been designed and implemented. This system is capable of recording the route traveled by a user and determining the mode of transport (walk, bicycle, car or bus) used. The Java code running in the GPS-enabled phone automatically records location data, determines critical locations for the trip, and transmits the locations to a central database using the wireless capabilities of the phone. As the route information arrives at the database, it is processed by the mode detection algorithm that determines the mode of transportation being used by the individual for this route. The mode detection algorithm uses travel time, speed, location of bus stops and knowledge of bus routes. The system was tested on experimental data collected from 100 trips (25 trips for each mode of transportation). The correct mode of transport was detected on 97% of the trips.

Cofré Espinoza, Alfredo Andrés January 2007 (has links)

Achieving Security in Messaging and Personal Content in Symbian Phones

Enany, Ahmed January 2007 (has links)
This thesis describes two proposed schemes that could be used to secure mobile messaging (SMS/MMS) as well as one scheme that could be used to secure mobile content. The security services we considered in securing the mobile messages are confidentiality, authentication, non-repudiation and integrity. We used Identity Based Cryptography in order to secure the mobile messaging and Blowfish algorithm to secure the mobile content. Due to some of the disadvantages imposed by the Identity Based Cryptography, we recommended using it along with the RSA algorithm. The proposed schemes were implemented in java and tested on an actual device, Nokia N70. In addition, we measured the time required by each of the algorithms we used to encrypt/decrypt a certain number of bytes. We found that the time taken by RSA and Blowfish algorithms will not be noticeable by the user. However, since the implementation of the Identity Based Cryptography we used was not meant to run on mobile devices, we encountered a noticeable delay whenever encrypting/decrypting the data using this algorithm. Securing the SMS messages will make it to be considered as one of the proposed means that could be used to conduct m-commerce. In addition, securing the MMS messages and the mobile content will increase the usability and the reliability of the mobile phones especially to the users on the move. / Phone: +46735731360
