The Covid-19 pandemic has affected us in different ways and expose the weaknesses of our ecosystem. Some groups of people are more vulnerable to the virus meaning they have to follow the public health authority recommendations with extra caution. At the start of this project, they recommended keeping distance and avoid a crowded environment which makes everyday living harder, especially for groups more vulnerable to the virus. In this thesis, I aim to solve this issue with a web application that extends Coops home delivery of groceries and makes it possible to order extra services as well. The project resulted in an application that is stable enough to use in production today.

This work concentrates on the design and implementation of an automated support for data extraction from product descriptions. This system will be used for e-shop purposes. The work introduces present approaches to information extraction from HTML documents. It focuses chiefly at wrappers and methods for their induction. The visual approach to information extraction is also mentioned. System requirements and basic principles are described in the design part of the work. Next, a detailed description of a path tracing algorithm in document object model is explained. The last section of the work evaluates the results of experiments made with the implemented system.

User interface under the win32 was realised using Microsoft Visual C#. The work is concluded by brief analysis of realistic benefits users get from using the application.

The key of success for optimalization of web pages is the combination of some basic rules. The comparison of advantages of different ways of navigation and creation of menu, speed optimalization of pages loading, texts optimalization with the help of chosen key words, principles of choosing the key words, item placing on web pages and comparison of design, marketing and custom view of making the web pages. First of all, we will look on the difference between catalogues and full text finders, their historical development and current ratio of finders on our market. Subsequently we will describe the presumptions for optimalization from the resource code and programming languages point of view, which are used on web pages. The most important part of our interest is the optimalization methods of web pages content and also the methods which are considered as forbidden. The final implementation is made in PHP language.

Datamängderna som analyseras fortsätter växa (Xu et al., 2022) och SVG (”Scalable Vector Graphics”) och Canvas ligger ofta till grund för 2D-datavisualiseringar (Johnson och Jankun-Kelly, 2008). Samtidigt är det fortsatt viktigt att en webbplats erbjuder god interaktivitet för att inte förlora sina användare p.g.a. undermålig prestanda (Huang, 2005; Babovic, Protic och Milutinovic, 2016). I följande studie jämförs SVG och Canvas genom ett tekniskt experiment för att se vilken av utritningsteknikerna som lämpar sig bäst för att rita ut linjediagram utifrån vatten-relaterad data i ett interaktivitetsperspektiv. Visualieringarna utförs genom två olika JavaScript-bibliotek och resultaten visar att Canvas tillhandahåller en högre nivå av interaktivitet i form av lägre renderingstider vid ”real-time rendering”.
