In the same sense, I intend to demonstrate that the American author uses the same foundations for regulating liberty in the democratic society, by limiting its exercise through the rule of law and the justice system, as well as for regulating the sovereignty of the people through international treaties and the duty of intervention. Accordingly, just as liberty depends on institutions and their respective norms, sovereignty is regulated by international law and by the respect for human rights. Subsequently, this dissertation aims to demonstrate unity in the Rawlsian theory by defining the distributive justice system applicable to internal society, with the adoption of public policies of transfer of income and sharing property and wealth, with the same purpose as the duty of assistance of peoples towards disadvantaged societies, at the international level. The dissertation is complemented by an analysis of the foundations of the guarantee of an existential minimum for citizens and the just savings principle / O objetivo do presente trabalho ? demonstrar a unidade e a conformidade na teoria de John Rawls entre os dois usos da posi??o original para fundamentar os princ?pios e normas de justi?a para a sociedade interna e para as rela??es internacionais.
