Jedenáct tváří Jana Gogoly ml. / ELEVEN FACES OF JAN GOGOL, JR.

Rendl, Jan January 2015 (has links)
Author Jan Rendl in his thesis attempts to look at the world of ideas and educator Jan Gogola ml. through the eleven chapters in which each chapter somehow characterizes itself by Jan Gogola ml. and each of them somehow determines its creative ideas of it through the metaphor of a football match when Jan Gogola, with its characters, movies himself a teammate, as well as defensively. It gives goals with their situations as well as occasionally digging his opponents ankles. Jan Gogola ml. thus embodies one stage of the Department of Documentary Film at FAMU, which often stands at the intersection between teaching activities and Karel Vachek among students who applied by them during their seminars psychological methods that work must be peculiarly associated with the author of the film.

Dětský hrdina v mezní situaci / Child´s Hero in an Extreme Situation

KLACKOVÁ, Jana January 2010 (has links)
This dissertation is devoted to the topic of Child{\crq}s hero in an extreme situation inspired predominantly by the Czech literature of the 1950{\crq}s and 1960{\crq}s. The essential material for my work was works of the following Czech authors: Arnošt Lustig, Karol Sidon, Josef Fuks, Jan Otčenášek, Ludvík Aškenazy a J.R.Pick. Besides them I also used books by the French writer Romain Rolland which I compared to the Czech works. The dissertation is divided into two parts. In the first part I devote myself to the concept of extreme situation itself. I try to define this concept from the point of view of psychology as well as to show its concrete manifestation in individual works. The second part deals with interpretations of the works in the framework of which I explore the issue of an extreme situation.

Komparace filosofie Jana Amose Komenského a René Descarta / Comparison Philosophies of Jan Amos Komenský and René Descartes

Dobrovodská, Helena January 2015 (has links)
Comparison of Philosophies of Jan Ámos Komenský and René Descartes The aim of this work is comparison of philosophies of Jan Ámos Komenský and René Descartes based on their essential works, i.e."Labyrint světa a ráj srdce" (The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart) and "Úvahy o první filozofii" (Meditations on First Philosophy), in which God's existence and the difference between the human soul and body are proved. The philosophy of both contemporaries originated in the 17th century on the background of the Thirty Years' War and the Counter-Reformation. The rationalism of René Descartes, which starts Cartesian thinking, seems to be substantially different from the philosophy of Komenský based on Neoplatonism and Christianity. In the thought of Descartes analysis, mathematical operationalism, is principal, whereas Komenský synthesizes and puts the whole together. The first chapter of the thesis deals with the lives, period and works of Komenský and Descartes. It is possible to find significant similarities in their life stories. The second chapter deals with the interpretation of "The Labyrint of the World and the Paradise of the Heart" and the interpretation of "Meditations of First Philosophy", in which God's existence and the difference between the human soul and body are proved....

The principal research questions are: 1. What motifs typical of migrant literature might be identified in the analysed novels? 2. How are the Czech characters portrayed? 3. How is the Czechoslovakia portrayed? Is the portrayal of the country of origin contrasted with that of the country of arrival, i.e. the Netherlands? The theoretical framework of the diploma thesis focuses on Dutch migrant literature and socio-political environment in Czechoslovakia from 1945 until present. The method used in the thesis is based on imagology and structural analysis. The practical part provides an analysis of the novels Nu delen we een geheim (1992) by Jana Beranová and In goede handen (1984) by Jan Stavinoha. As the analysis illustrates, the two novels include features of migrant literature as described in critical sources, such as the depiction of oppression in one's homeland, the life between two cultures and the difficulty of overcoming the language barrier.
