Theatre "Minor" From The Year 1989 Up To Present (Changes In a Staging Style) This thesis concerns itself with the Minor Theatre after the year 1989, namely with changes in a staging style of this prague platform that focuses mainly on a production for the child audience. In the production of the theatres principal directors (Karel Makonj, Jan Jirků, David Drábek, Jiří Adámek) we can observe distinctive courses of staging methods, that shape the Minor's character. The primary aim of this thesis is to attempt to reflect these staging courses and demonstrate them using profile plays. An excursus into the history of the Minor Theatre precedes these analyses to define its character. Biographies of the said directors are also included in the thesis, as well as the list of theatre's plays form 1990 (with the dates of premieres) and photographic material ilustrating the theatricals analysed here.

The work offers a comprehensive preview of opinion streams on the theme of eschatology, final things or also the end of time , in various stages of the development of human society, whether Jewish or Christian, with an emphasis on the medieval period in the Lands of the Bohemian Crown. Iťs based on the biblical texts of the Old and New Testaments, particularly on the New T estament text of the Book of Revelations. It deals with religious situation in the Middle Ages and simultaneously also with political, cultural and social factors. It reveals certain sources of heretical teachings, especially the Vaudois Church, from which eminent theologists' opinions crystallized and mentions the status of heretics in medieval society. It also covers the teachings of John Wycliffe. The work is divided into six parts, in which eschatological moods and vision that reigned i n contemporary societies are substantiated. It analyses them, and literary woeks document the main ideas and opinions of eminent reformátory scholars, such as for example Milíč of Kroměříž, Matěj of Janov, Master Jan Hus and Petr Chelčický. Jan Snížek in the context of Czech cabaret theatre in the period from 1920 to 1948 Summary This thesis focuses on the work of a nearly forgotten Czech cabaret artist and writer Jan Snížek (1902 - 1971). The introduction deals with the history of Czech cabaret in the period from 1920 to 1945. Here, the selected cabaret theatres in the various periods of time (the 1920s, 1930s, The Nazi occupation) are discussed from the political and cultural points of view. Later the thesis analyses the personality of Jan Snížek and the particular theatres he was part of. Furthermore the thesis thoroughly discusses the work of Jan Snížek and its impact on the period newspapers. The following chapters deal with author's later life and his prose collection written in exile. The last part of the thesis summarizes Jan Snížek's creative activity and its role in the Czech Occupation theatre, analyses the great success of his cabaret production and explains why such a significant author is now almost unknown to the public.

The remaining chapters focus on the main topic of the thesis. Special attention is given not only to the prominent baroque composer Jan Zach, or to Bohumír Hanžlík, a celebrity on the current musical scene, but also to other less prominent people who left the mark on the city's musical history. The contents and focus of the paper make it especially suitable to those interested in the town of Čelákovice, its culture, prominent figures and musical history.

Based on the analysis of three variants of Zábrana's poem collections Utkvělé černé ikony, Stránky z deníku and Samosoud and his translations of poems by Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Gregory Corso and Kenneth Patchen, the thesis aims at finding the tendencies and models present both in Zábrana's original poems and his translations.

The thesis titled Neruda's love in novels is dealing with the so- called second life of Jan Neruda and his appearance in the biographical novels. The first part try to describe how (according his letters and poems) probably looked his emotional life and what character had his relations to Anna Holinová, Karolína Světlá, Terezie Marie Macháčková, Anna Tichá a Božena Vlachová. The second part examines how is their concept in the fictional world of four novels (Černý Honzík, Démantová spona, Blonďatá Kerolajn, Lásky Jana Nerudy). They were read and confronted with correspondence and biography of Jan Neruda and it was investigated, where and how authors draw their inspiration. The next question is how they represent main hero and the bond between them. Each novel has been analyzed and mutually they were compared. The author found that all writers in varying degrees familiar with Neruda leaves and leaves are also used in their books as a source of information and words in the dialogues. Parts of them they also publish. Démantová spona and Lásky Jana Nerudy are most based on the letters. Ivo Pelant and Jaromíra Kolárová also come from many other sources. This thesis tackles the onset of normalisation in Czechoslovak Television between 1969-1975. Firstly the author introduces the reader to the subject through the historical context. Above all, the thesis focuses on dramatic changes that affected Czechoslovak Television in that era. Further, the thesis is dedicated to one of main players and representatives of normalisation in Czechoslovak media, general director of Czechoslovak Television Jan Zelenka, who remained in office between years 1969 and 1989. The author uses not only published sources, but also internal documents and databases of Czechoslovak Television and documents from the National Archive. In the analytical part of the thesis the author describes the function and structure of Ideological Thematic Plans which served as a foundation document for the TV broadcasting for one year to the next. Using the Ideological Thematic Plan of 1973 the author analyses their content. The author carries out an in-depth analysis of three TV programmes chosen from the Ideological Thematic Plan of 1973. The thesis aims to ascertain to what extent it is the movie with a documentary elements, where authors would have to represent only real events and to what extent it is artistic movie where authors have more space in creativity and could change reality to impress spectators with theatricality and emocionality, with the risk they will change the meaning of real events, therefore they would manipulate with the spectator. The thesis also essays the media content before the 1989 and after the 1989, while it aims to find out not only what is the difference in the newspaper and TV news, but also what difference is in the quantity of the content regarding to Jan Palach in the times of totality and democracy.
