Posouzení efektivity kapitálového trhu a výběr vhodné investiční strategie / The Examination of the Capital Market´s Efficiency and the Selection of Suitable Capital Strategy

In my diploma I analyzed the USA capital market. I concentrated on 5 representative branches of this market - the biotechnology, the food industry, the car industry, the mining and the finances. 12 companies, which quote their share of stocks in the american capital market, were choosed. I tested the efficiency of this capital market and tried to establish the rate of this market´s efficiency. Later the best strategy was added to the rate of capital market´s efficiency. I counted the average decree, the standard deviation, the variation coefficient, the {$\alpha$} coefficient and {$\beta$} coefficient at the choosed share of stocks. I accomplished the correlative and the runs testing, which were supposed to certify the efficiency of market. The certain anomalies as The Day of the Week Effect, The January Effect and The Size Effect were investigated in more detail. Further I was considering if either the active or the passive strategy should have been used. I concluded that the active strategy is better for investors in times of the financial crisis. I also analyzed P/E ratio at choosed companies. The performated testing shows that the american market of shares is effective, it has the form of low efficiency peak-form efficient markets hypothesis.

Calendar Anomalies in the Nordic Stock Markets : A quantitative study of the Sell in May effect, January effect & Monthly Anomalies

This study has applied a geographical perspective with the ambition of evaluating the presence of the Sell in May effect, January effect and monthly anomalies in the Nordic stock markets. In extension the study examines the relationship between corporate size and the returns of calendar anomalies. The study has conducted statistical tests based on Newey-West regressions as well as a Generalized Auto-Regressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity model. The findings suggest that the Sell in May and January are present in the Nordic region and partially abide by theory and results of previous research. The findings suggest that the Sell in May and January effect are independent, however, tendencies when the January effect has a considerable influence on the Sell in May effect are also evident. Additionally, the “April Effect” is an unexpected outlier with positive excess returns that was identified through this study.

Teve como objetivo de pesquisa, a investigação de duas situações principais: primeiro, a análise de como o trabalho pedagógico, realizado no ambiente escolar, com relação à temática pode ser considerado processo de efetivação da legislação em estudo. Nessa abordagem a escola é vista como campo propício para afirmação de uma construção identitária reconhecendo que nossa identidade é também social e culturalmente construída. Segundo, investigar como o município de Lapão está organizado em termos legais e com relação à política de formação continuada para professores, especificamente no trato com as questões etnicorraciais. Os estudos que norteiam a pesquisa estão fundamentados no tripé, identidade, currículo e interculturalidade. A metodologia utilizada foi de caráter qualitativo, de inspiração etnográfica e utilizei os dispositivos metodológicos de: observação participante, entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas, oficina metodológica e análise documental. O processo de investigação possibilitou identificar que ao longo da década observada (2006-2016), o Sistema Municipal de Ensino de Lapão já possui um aparato que normatizam políticas públicas que colocam em prática as ações das referidas leis. Porém, as propostas curriculares das escolas devem promover tempos educativos, nos quais os professores que lecionam principalmente as Disciplinas de História, Arte e Língua Portuguesa possam contemplar nos planejamentos, ações pedagógicas que abordem a temática de forma natural e não como algo esporádico, como ocorre de fato. A proposta da interculturalidade como elemento norteador do currículo de Lapão, pode contribuir para galgar resultados positivos no que se refere à educação que valoriza a diversidade local existente. E neste ínterim propõe-se esta intervenção. / ABSTRACT This Intervention Project examines the implementation of Laws 10.639 / 2003 and 11.645 / 2008 in the Lapão-Ba Municipal Network of Education, from the perspective of the intercultural curriculum and represents a continuity of studies and research that I carry out in the area of education and diversity. The main objective of this research was to investigate two main situations: first, the analysis of how the pedagogical work carried out in the school environment, in relation to the subject matter, can be considered a process of effecting the legislation under study. In this approach the school is seen as a propitious field for the affirmation of an identity construction recognizing that our identity is also socially and culturally constructed. Second, to investigate how the municipality of Lapão is organized in legal terms and in relation to the policy of continuing education for teachers, specifically in dealing with ethno-racial issues. The studies that guide the research are based on the tripod, identity, curriculum and interculturality. The methodology used was qualitative, with ethnographic inspiration and I used the methodological devices of: participant observation, semi-structured individual interviews, methodological workshop and documentary analysis. The research process made it possible to identify that throughout the observed decade (2006-2016), the Municipal System of Education of Lapão already has an apparatus that standardize public policies that put into practice the actions of the referred laws. However, the curricular proposals of the schools should promote educational times, in which the teachers who teach mainly the Disciplines of History, Art and Portuguese Language can contemplate in the planning, pedagogical actions that approach the subject in a natural way and not as something sporadic, as it occurs indeed. The proposal of interculturality as a guiding element in the Lapoan curriculum can contribute to positive results in terms of education that values the existing local diversity. And in the meantime this intervention is proposed

The thesis targets at events which took place in the town of Prachatice and its surroundings at the end of the Second World War. It is based on written sources (filed in the State District Archives Prachatice), as well as on literature sources focusing on this topic and eyewitness memories. The first part presents a brief characterization of the town from geographical, social and economic point of view. The second chapter deals with events taking place in September 1938 when Prachatice was occupied by Nazi Germans. The third part shortly depicts the process of front war situations in Europe. The main part of the thesis consists of chapter 4 and 5 which present the way of living and events happening in the town from January 1945 to May 1945 when Prachatice was liberated by the US army. The thesis aims to connect general relations with events that happened in Prachatice and its surroundings not only to illustrate the topic from literature sources but also from people{\crq}s own memories. It tends to depict this period full of worries and hope. It is hoped to contribute to completion of the town history.

Ma thèse vise en premier ressort à étudier toutes les questions juridiques concernant la ‘question arménienne’.D’abord, le sujet de l’existence des éléments du crime de génocide en 1915 au niveau du droit international conventionnel a été notre première question à étudier. Ensuite, il était indispensable d’étudier la nature du crime commis envers les Arméniens ottomans en 1915.En plus, est-ce que l’Etat Turc actuel peut-il être responsable d’un crime commis par l’Empire ottoman, selon le principe de la succession d’Etats en droit international, surtout que l’Etat Turc n’était créé qu’en 1923 ? Et en cas de l’existence de cette responsabilité, est-ce que l’Arménie a droit à l’action en responsabilité, surtout qu’au moment de la perpétration du crime, il n’y avait pas un Etat Arménien ? Les victimes étaient des ressortissants de l’Empire ottoman mais d’origine arménienne. Donc il faudra étudier la qualité de l’Arménie pour agir en justice, par des moyens judiciaires ou extrajudiciaires, vis-à-vis surtout du principe de la non-rétroactivité des traités, surtout que dans notre cas, le crime a été perpétré en 1915, alors que la Convention sur le génocide n’a été promulguée qu’en 1948.En fait, notre thèse vise en dernier ressort à rapprocher les deux pays et mettre fin réellement au conflit entre eux, à percevoir ce qui les rassemblent et non ce qui les divisent, et trouver une solution équitable et objective pour les deux pays afin de contribuer à mettre fin à leur litige historique, et cela à travers une étude réaliste, impartiale et basée sur la logique et la nature des choses et des circonstances du fait existantes. / The main purpose of my thesis is to study all the legal issues concerning the 'Armenian question'.First, the existence of the elements of the crime of genocide in 1915 at the conventional international law, made our first question to consider. Then, it was necessary to study the nature of the crime committed against the Ottoman Armenians in 1915.In addition, can Turkey be responsible for a crime committed by the Ottoman Empire, according to the principle of succession of States in international law, especially that the Turkish state was created in 1923?And in case of such responsibility, has Armenia the right to maintain a lawsuit against Turkey, especially at the time of the crime, there was no Armenian state?The victims were citizens of the Ottoman Empire but of Armenian descent.Also, the quality of Armenia to take legal action, by judicial or extrajudicial processes, must be studied, regarding especially to the principle of non-retroactivity of treaties, especially that in our case, the crime was committed in 1915, while the Genocide Convention was enacted in 1948.In fact, our thesis aims ultimately to bring the two countries closer and actually try to help reach the end of the conflict between them, perceive what gather them and not what divides them, and find a fair and objective solution for both countries, in order to help put an end to their historic dispute, and that through a realistic and impartial study, based on logic and the nature of things and the circumstances of the existing.
