The village is located in the city of Diamante do Oeste Paraná State. The study has as its main theme the -jepotá , considered by the natives as a evil that turns men into animals and make them be recognized by their community, as people who embody the devil. In this context, the research aims to investigate if the ways how the Nhandéva understand and live with the -jepotá , are or are not formulated/ created from the mythology. / Esta dissertação é produto de meu trabalho etnográfico desenvolvido entre os Guarani Nhandéva da aldeia Tekohá Añetete localizada no município de Diamante do Oeste PR. O estudo tem como tema o jepotá, um mal que transforma os homens em animais e os fazem ser reconhecidos, pela maior parte da sua comunidade, como pessoas que encarnam o diabo. Meu objetivo é investigar se as formas pelas quais os Nhandéva entendem e convivem com o jepotá são, ou não, elaboradas a partir da mitologia.
