No. of bitstreams: 1 Arquivototal.pdf: 1826709 bytes, checksum: 283b05e2aea81c893ce4498a8523b003 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-12-12 / This study assumes as object the formative project of intelligent collectives in the contemporary Space of Knowledge, based on the concepts of communicative reason and collective intelligence. In compliance with this referential of rationality, it is based on the Theory of Communicative Action (TCA), following the emancipatory illuminist standard projected in the theory of collective intelligence. It contextualizes the virtual horizons of open learning in the course of the contemporary revolution of computer and telematics systems and the advent of cyberspace in the interim of the XX and XXI centuries AD, as well as the systemic mechanisms that, infiltrated in the interactive networks of this great world cyber life, awaken the formation of intelligent collectives in favor of the promotion of intelligently managed collectives. The objective was to understand the formation of intelligent collectives based on rationally motivated cooperative learning, following the thesis that communicative reason foments cooperative learning processes capable of forming intelligent groups in the Knowledge Space. Inspired by the hermeneutical method, the interpretative view of the object of this study proposes a comprehensive posture of the phenomenon of learning in the universal field – but no totalizable – of cyberspace, privileged locus of the global entanglement of the subjects of the Knowledge Space. In this sense, the construction of the thesis and the steps of his analysis demand the hermeneutical pretension to understand – in the light of the TCA - the guiding principles of reason communicative consistent/propitious to promote the learning cooperatives and collective intelligent, who are at the base of the concept of collective intelligence. Ascertaining the possibility of rationality promoting the development of a culture of cooperative learning and the consequent formation of intelligent collectives in the environments of the Knowledge Space, concludes that the formation of intelligent collectives in cybernetic environments (capable of optimizing the potential of collective intelligence in the Space of Knowledge) passes through the rationalization of communicative in the context of the world of cyberspace life. Appears, therefore, the communicative rationality as a privileged referential to promote intelligent collectives in the Space of Knowledge, especially because its can transform the cyberspacial universe in a world of life emancipated (free of performances noninteractive by subject and systemic instances) and fruitful to the cooperative learning because entangled by competent subjects to speak and act ethically in their interactions, challenging utopia whose “non-place” is a distinct conditioner for our social evolution. Coletivos inteligentes. Espaço do Saber. Inteligência coletiva. Racionalidade comunicativa.

Identifiability in Knowledge Space Theory: a survey of recent results

Doignon, Jean-Paul 28 May 2013 (has links)
Knowledge Space Theory (KST) links in several ways to Formal Concept Analysis (FCA). Recently, the probabilistic and statistical aspects of KST have been further developed by several authors. We review part of the recent results, and describe some of the open problems. The question of whether the outcomes can be useful in FCA remains to be investigated.

An Exploratory Comparison of a Traditional and an Adaptive Instructional Approach for College Algebra

Kasha, Ryan 01 January 2015 (has links)
This research effort compared student learning gains and attitudinal changes through the implementation of two varying instructional approaches on the topic of functions in College Algebra. Attitudinal changes were measured based on the Attitude Towards Mathematics Inventory (ATMI). The ATMI also provided four sub-scales scores for self-confidence, value of learning, enjoyment, and motivation. Furthermore, this research explored and compared relationships between students' level of mastery and their actual level of learning. This study implemented a quasi-experimental research design using a sample that consisted of 56 College Algebra students in a public, state college in Florida. The sample was enrolled in one of two College Algebra sections, in which one section followed a self-adaptive instructional approach using ALEKS (Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Space) and the other section followed a traditional approach using MyMathLab. Learning gains in each class were measured as the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores on the topic of functions in College Algebra. Attitude changes in each class were measured as the difference between the holistic scores on the ATMI, as well as each of the four sub-scale scores, which was administered once in the beginning of the semester and again after the unit of functions, approximately eight weeks into the course. Utilizing an independent t-test, results indicated that there was not a significant difference in actual learning gains for the compared instructional approaches. Additionally, independent t-test results indicated that there was not a statistical difference for attitude change holistically and on each of the four sub-scales for the compared instructional approaches. However, correlational analyses revealed a strong relationship between students' level of mastery learning and their actual learning level for each class with the self-adaptive instructional approach having a stronger correlation than the non-adaptive section, as measured by an r-to-z Fisher transformation test. The results of this study indicate that the self-adaptive instructional approach using ALEKS could more accurately report students' true level of learning compared to a non-adaptive instructional approach. Overall, this study found the compared instructional approaches to be equivalent in terms of learning and effect on students' attitude. While not statistically different, the results of this study have implications for math educators, instructional designers, and software developers. For example, a non-adaptive instructional approach can be equivalent to a self-adaptive instructional approach in terms of learning with appropriate planning and design. Future recommendations include further case studies of self-adaptive technology in developmental and college mathematics in other modalities such as hybrid or on-line courses. Also, this study should be replicated on a larger scale with other self-adaptive math software in addition to focusing on other student populations, such as K - 12. There is much potential for intelligent tutoring to supplement different instructional approaches, but should not be viewed as a replacement for teacher-to-student interactions.

知識空間、專屬資產投資、跨組織學習與代工績效關聯性之研究-以通訊代工廠商為例 / The research of relationships among knowledge space, asset specific investment, inter-organization learning and performance of outsourcing - a case study of communication subcontractors

Chen ,Tung Hsien Unknown Date (has links)

Wissensraum am Niederrhein

Horst, Harald 08 May 2017 (has links)
The Crosier monastery of Hohenbusch, situated between Cologne and Aix-la-Chapelle, was dissolved in 1802, on the occasion of the secularization of church property. About 130 manuscripts and early prints from the canonry’s library survived in the diocesan library of Cologne, as well as in libraries in Munich, Brussels, New York etc. An inventory of 265 confiscated books, drawn up on behalf of the French administration in 1801, represents the only description of the former monastery library. The study attempts a reconstruction of the library based on this inventory, and on the material properties of the extant books. Script, book illumination, binding, ownership records and marginal notes in the books are therefore described. An analysis of the contents of the known books shows that they still reflect the history, spirituality, and intellectual bias of the canonry. The German metaphor ‘Wissensraum’ (knowledge space) shall help to approach the social and cultural life of the Crosiers. Perceived as a cultural concept beyond all restrictions of space, the metaphor aims to describe the library as a dynamic instrument which allows generating new knowledge based on existing information. A look on two segments of the library, the first up to the year 1520, the second up to 1700, shows how the monastery changed: Starting in a spiritual and pastoral orientation, it became an important house for the spiritual formation of novices, while at the end, due to its increasing land ownership, and prosperity, legal and administrative questions predominated.
