The diploma work addresses the application of ethical code into banking. It deals with business ethic and ethical code of Československá obchodní banka, Inc. The thesis analyses the original ethical code of the bank and engages in the implementation of the new ethical code which includes, among others, “The Whistle Blowing Policy”. The diploma work brings a cross-sectional survey of the employees of Československá obchodní banka, Inc. about their awareness and ability to fulfil the principles of the ethical code. The bank was recommended possible solutions based on the results of the survey.

Master’s thesis is focused on description of the present state of organization culture of the company Epcos s. r. o. The thesis produses the disposal for upgrading organization culture. Part of own work is the proposal of ethics code for company Epcos s. r. o., proposal of vision of the company, and creation and evaluation of questionnaire which refers to the communication related to the organization culture.

The thesis is in its first part focused on the theoretical background. It deals with concepts such as ethics, morality, social responsibility and ethical codes. The next section is devoted to a particular company, analyzing the current situation, which was based on a questionnaire survey. It proposes possible actions by the company and the specific text of the Code of Ethics.

This diploma thesis deals with audit of financial statements, it will include a proposal for measures to eliminate potential errors during the audit. First of all the thesis defines audit services from the point of view of law, which is closely associated with the activities of The Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic as well as with international auditor standards. After that the basic concepts and individual stages in providing auditor services will be described. In the second half of the thesis there will be space for the analysis of audit of financial statement and reporting in practical terms in the selected accounting entity.

SŮVA, Jiří. Theoretical Foundations and Pedagogical Model of Ethics Education for Policing. Prague, 2014. Dissertation work. The Pedagogical Faculty of the Charles University. The dissertation combines analytical passages with philosophical reflections focusing on the theoretical foundations of ethics education of police officers, especially in the initial education. Rather implicit theoretical basis of contemporary police ethics education is identified as psychologically overstressed, focused on the narrow sphere of common mores, limited by competence-based approach, and mainly as unclear as to the answering of the basic questions which can generate compact understanding of police ethics and its education in terms of its possibilities, objectives, content, means, etc. In four chapters of this work we can see an attempt to offer such answers in an integral pedagogical model. This thesis has been divided into two parts. The first - the theoretical part sta- tes the concept and methodology of school competence of a primary prevention worker at elementary school. The paper presents three reference frames of his wor- king - the legal framework, the framework of professional and social framework. These frameworks define specific competencies, potentials and risks in the per- formance of specialized activities in practice. General picture of the specialized activities SMPP is further elaborated in the following areas: methodology positi- ons in the school environment, the methodology and relationship with the school management , working among the pedagogical staff, the proportion of co-creation methodology for school climate and his possible influencing the climate. The text also discusses the ethics of educational and socio-educational work. This thesis deals with analysis of EU rules on entry and residence on the territory of Member States. These rules are described from the perspective of different groups of people, EU citizens, citizens of EFTA Member States, family members or citizens of Turkey, and also from the perspective of Member States participating in the Schengen Border Area and Member States outside this Area. The core of this thesis consist is the analysis of four key EU rules in this field, namely the Border Code (Regulation 562/2002), the Visa Code (Regulation 810/2009), the 539/2001 Regulation and the 2004/38 Directive, as well as relevant case law of the Court of Justice, that influences the interpretation of the rules in hand significantly. The rules are also assessed from the point of view of principles of legal certainty and legitimacy.

The thesis focuses on new marketing communication techniques. Their appearance is triggered mainly by technological progress and consumers' immunity to existing methods. Despite business ethics being part of commercial activities of majority of companies and business activities, not seldom do these upcoming and non-standard methods cross the boundaries of law and ethics. This business ethics has institutionalized itself into ethics codes. The thesis provides insight into the issue of the system of legal regulations of advertising in the Czech Republic. The regulation of ethics is executed by "Rada pro reklamu" as so-called self-regulation. The bodies of "RPR", its activity and also the "Code" and its practical application are detailed. The regulation of ethics concerning Public Relations is also involved. Trends are illustrated by many examples from real life.

The European international private law has undergone a dynamic development during the last twenty years. It can be assumed that this development will continue con-sidering the increasing need for dealing with the legal relations involving a cross-border element, which arise thanks to the exercise of the freedom of movement of goods, capital, services, and people in the frame of the European Union. The experts in international private law discuss the directions of its future development. Should it continue the same or similar direction as until now, i.e. the unification of individual in-struments and conclusion of international agreements (limited with the EU competen-ces), or should it take the direction of a comprehensive codification of the European conflict of laws? The last considered direction is the adoption of a comprehensive common code on private law, i.e. a code of the private substantive law rules. Neverthe-less, this possibility deals with the diversity of the law cultures and the law orders among the EU member states.
