Uppsatsen behandlar vilken effekt och betydelse användandet av off-screen-element irörlig bild kan ha. Studiens syfte är att skapa en djupare förståelse för hur visuellakommunikatörer medvetet kan använda sig utav off-screen. Diskussioner utförs kring offscreen-elementens fördelar och nackdelar. Studiematerialet utgörs av en svensk art cinemafilm,som tydligt visar på ett stort antal off-screen-element. Valda metoder ärkompositionsanalys och innehållsanalys, för att förstå vad som syns i bild och vad sominte syns i bild. Resultaten från analyserna har sedan vävts samman med valda teorier. Dehuvudsakliga teorierna är art cinema, komposition, den långa tagningen och metafiktion.Studiens resultat är att off-screen med fördel kan användas för att väcka tittarensuppmärksamhet, och att förstärka passiva karaktärers betydelse. Resultatet pekar på attom ett stort antal off-screen-element används, kan detta upplevas som ansträngande för enpublik som mest tittar på mainstreamfilmer.

Modern urban environments are full of void, underused spaces. But it is these urban voids that are our opportunities to transform and revitalize struggling urban environments. While some brownfields are quickly capped and converted into new places of business, this kind of transformation does little to get rid of the site contamination and a future of concealed complications. On the other hand, if brownfields are converted into park and open space, they then become opportunities for recreation, education and true environmental revitalization. Park users are given the opportunity to learn about the natural environment and how it can be restored and are also able to enjoy the benefits of recreation to improve their social, physical, and mental health. Overall, major economic, social, and environmental benefits are reaped from this kind of redevelopment.The purpose of this project is to explore the benefits of reclaiming an urban brownfield for reviving it through different regenerating strategies. Firstly through the development of a recreational space i.e a park and secondly through a residential area. While exploring these strategies a study of landscape urbanism as a new lens towards revival and study of environmental concerns such as soil remediation technique are involved.

The aim of this paper is to investigate how printed magazines affect us through our perception and senses. Magazines have historically been and are still formed based on the culture they are created in. Indie magazines is a genre characterised by print, materiality and aesthetics as a counterreaction to glossies. They are known to exist primarily in a printed format and use digital tools as a way of simplifying production, distribution and marketing. Through a case study of the indie magazine AGENDA, three interviews have been executed to establish a framework of what aspects of the magazine seem to bodily affect us. The results show that materiality and tactility appears to affect the experience of browsing through a magazine. The interviewees indirectly point out an aura, a concept formed by theorist Walter Benjamin that is discussed in the last section of this paper.

At Nordnes in Bergen there are a stone foundation supporting a plateau with buildings and an old fort. In the stone foundation, almost like a cave, there are a public urinal. As rain pours down, the mortar holding together the stones in the structures slowly dissolves into a flow of water. When the water flow passes the room of the urinal it gets exposed to heat from the air and sun which causes the water to evaporate and the minerals from the mortar to precipitate out in to stalactites. If left unattended this would eventually lay down the fort and the buildings in a ruin, and the empty space of the urinal would be filled by a mineral structure. / Bildene er av eksamensverket "Metallfeber"

Jag märker att det rum som ska vara till för alla, inte är det. Rummet har börjat fyllas av design som hindrar kroppar på olika sätt. Det är vassa taggar på platser där man annars skulle kunna sitta och handtag i mitten av bänkar så att kroppar inte kan ligga ner. Men värst av allt är de platser där det inte finns någonting alls, varken att sitta på eller luta sig mot.

In this essay, I try to explain, based on my artistic and sexual experiences, how I could become my very best lesbian self. I talk about whether art could be a way for me to behave sexistically towards other women and explain what requirements I have for these women. I use a number of contemporary queer artists and thinkers to highlight and explain the basics (and conditions) of my practice.

Denna studie ligger i skärningspunkten mellan flera olika ämnen. Huvudsyftet är varumärket Obey och är avsedd att utreda hur varumärket samspelar med gatukonst, graffiti, subkultur inom graffiti och hip-hop, samtmode. Studien innehåller en bakgrund om graffitins historia och kultur, samt street art som i denna studie kallas för gatukonst. Fortsättningsvis har en presentation om mode, subkultur och varumärke presenterats i bakgrundskapitlet, samt en bakgrund omvarumärket Obey och Shepard Fariey, skaparen av just varumärket Obey. Studien visar hur Obey influerats från gatukulturen genom sina verk, samt hur varumärket kan kopplas till identitet tillsammans medmode. Det framgår också hur Obey tagit inspiration från gatukonstenoch hip-hop kulturen i och med att grundaren Shepard Fairey från början var gatukonstnär, innan han tog sitt sätt att uttrycka sig till en ny nivå, genom kläder.Detta har genomförts utifrån en kvalitativ litteraturstudie där det empiriska materialet varit viktigtför studiens analys och sammanfattning.
