Lietuviškų šilauogių veislių tyrimas / Research of Lithuanian Cultivars of Blueberry

Balaikaitė, Agnė 10 November 2005 (has links)
Blueberry though one of the most valuable berry plants is limited in its occurrence in Lithuania. One of the reason – is lack of local cultivars. Over 1993 – 2004 the largest blueberry germ plasm was established in Kaunas Botanical Garden at VDU. This collection has been used for breeding of new cultivars. Seedlings ‘No.11, ’‘No.16’ and ‘No.17’ were investigated in Kaunas Botanical Garden over 2002 – 2004. The investigation aimed at estimating of productivity, character of fruiting and biochemical composition of berries. The obtained result were compare with those of halth-highbush ‘Northcountry’. Fruiting of 4 – 6 year old bushes was estimated, mean earliness of fruiting, berry size, volume and average yield for 3 seedling numbers were determined. Seedlings numbers ‘No.11, ‘No.16’ and ‘No.17’might be classified as early cultivars. The main port of the blueberry yield was obtained in the first picking, due to this mechanised picking might be applied. The plants produce tasty, good marketable appearance and biochemical composition. The best marketable appearance typical of ‘No. 17’, the biggest berries – ‘No. 11. The most productive were ‘No. 16’ and ‘No. 17’, their mean productivity is two times higher than that of ‘Northcountry’.

Rožių žiedų išsilaikymo tyrimai / The Preservation Tests of Blossom Roses

Žemaitytė, Aušra 10 November 2005 (has links)
The tests purpose - to investigate the length and decorative of the preservation to different cultivates of roses blossom, keeping them in 14 C0 and 18 C0 soak water supply water and in solution of Chrysal. The experimentations carried out in the farm of Algimantas Žemaitis in the period of 2003 -2004. The cultivates of Thea hybrida clump Black Baccara, Black Magic, Eldorado, Raphaela, Red Devil, Vevdela, Versilia and clump of floribunda Akito, Gold Strike and Konfetti have been chosen to investigate the preservation of roses blossoms. The general conclusion of influence Chrysal solution: The length of decorative preservation of roses blossoms has been durable when we were keeping them in soak solution of Chrysal, neither the roses witches have been soaked in the water supply water. The cultivates from investigated of ten roses Raphaela have been blossomed durably and Gold Striks - shortly. In 14 C0 the cultivates of roses Raphaela preservated 16,1 days and Gold Strike – 13,1 days, keeping them in woter, 19,1 and 15,7 days accordingly in solution of Chrysal. In 18 C0 cultivates of roses Raphaela preservated 15,2 days and Gold Strike - 12,1 days, keeping them in woter, 18,0 days in solution of Chrysal. The cultivates of roses Black Bacara has been blossomed shortly – 14,0 days, keeping them in solution of Chrysal.

Kriaušių veislių fenologinių tarpsnių ir morfologinių požymių tyrimas selekcijos uždaviniams spręsti / Investigation of Phenological Phases and Morfometrical Charakteristics of Pear Varieties for Selection

Banytė, Irma 10 November 2005 (has links)
The investigations were carried out in the collection pears garden of the Lithuanian Institute of Horticulture in 2004.The aim of the work was to evaluate the manifestation of biological and morfometrical charakteristics of pears varieties of different origin to distinguish the desireable charakteristics and to recommend the varieties that are suitable for further selection in Lithuania. 161 pear cultivars were investigated. Phenological phases, their begginnig and duration, blossom injuries caused by spring frost, end of vegetation and fruits morphometrical parameters were evaluated. The latter two characters were estimated according to the scale 0 – 5: 0 – flowers not injured, 5 – all flowers injured in inflorescence. At the end of vegetation: 0 – leaf fall not started, 5 – all leaves are fallen. It was ascertained that 2,5  of investigated pear cultivars came into bloom on April 30. the phase of full bloom lasted for 12 days. On May 14 air temperature 1,5 m above land during spring frost dropped up to – 3,1 C degrees. Twelve cultivars did not show any symptoms of injury by frost, but blossoms of 12 ones were heavily damaged or killed. At the beginnig of November leaves were not fallen on fruit trees of 50 % pear cultivars and only 8 – 10 % cultivars ended vegetation.

Žemės ūkio kilmės riebalinių atliekų panaudojimas biodyzelino gamyboje / Usage of Fatty Wastes of Agricultural Origin for the Production of Biodiesel

Sendžikienė, Eglė 08 November 2005 (has links)
For the first time it has been conducted an integrated research of possibilities to apply different kinds of fatty wastes for biodiesel fuel production. For this reason esterification process of oil an fat rich of free fatty acids by using acid catalysts and further transesterification of the obtained product until standard requirements for biodiesel fuel have been fulfilled. Intersolubility of different components of multi-component biofuel systems, and limits of stability were investigated. Emissions of the biodiesel fuel were analyzed and fuel biological decomposition in the environment was studied. Life cycle parameters of the suggested biodiesel fuel production process were determined.

Universitetų leidyklos Lietuvoje ir jų vieta rinkoje / Publishing offices of lithuanian universities and their position in the market

Tyško, Renata 08 September 2009 (has links)
Magistro darbo objektas – Lietuvos universitetų leidyklų veikla. Darbo tikslas – atsižvelgiant į Lietuvoje po 1990 m. įvykusius pokyčius ekonomikoje bei švietimo sistemoje, išanalizuoti Lietuvos universitetų leidybinės veiklos evoliuciją, įvertinant kiekvienos aukštosios mokyklos leidyklos veiklą ir leidybinį repertuarą. Leidyklų veikla tiriama 1991-2003 m. laikotarpiu, nes 1990 m.
