Este trabalho se fundamenta na constatação da importância que os aspectos artísticos desempenham na produção e na apreciação da arquitetura, qualificando-a ao mesmo tempo em que problematizam seu ensino e sua avaliação. Considerando essa ambivalência como um traço distintivo que resiste há muito tempo à tentativa de objetivar a disciplina, o processo da subjetividade na arquitetura é aqui abordado a partir de um personagem do Renascimento, época em que efetivamente se estabelece e se consolida a crítica arquitetônica. Leon Battista Alberti, na condição de autor do primeiro tratado de arquitetura do período e de obras que contribuíram para as transformações estéticas de seu tempo, nos mostra, através da teoria e da prática profissional, a atualidade de uma postura que assume as incertezas que caracterizam a disciplina. / This work relies on the assumption that artistic aspects play a fundamental role in the production and appreciation of architecture, both qualifying and questioning its teaching and evaluation. Considering this ambivalence as a distinctive feature that for a long time has resisted the efforts in making the discipline an objective field, the subjective character in architecture is here approached having a Renaissance thinker as a reference, in a period when architectural criticism was established and consolidated. Leon Battista Alberti, as the writer of the first architectural treatise and the author of projects that express the aesthetic changes of his time, displays an attitude that remains pertinent today, embracing in theory and practice the uncertainties that are distinctive of the discipline.

Os problemas sociais em escala mundial que estão nas raízes da crise se acumulam sem que haja perspectivas positivas para as suas resoluções. Ao lado disso, a possibilidade de uma ordem social alternativa ao capital e o legado teórico-político de Karl Marx recomeçam, ainda que timidamente, a ser debatidos. A partir desse cenário, a questão da transição pós-capitalista, e pós-capital, se coloca, com a intensificação da crise, como um problema muito importante para teorias de mudanças sociais substantivas. Este trabalho investiga duas delas: a da revolução permanente de Leon Trotski e a da luta para além do capital de István Mészáros, tidas como representativas do que a teoria social inspirada em Marx produziu no último século sobre a questão. Enquanto a primeira se viu envolvida com as repercussões - e descaminhos - da principal experiência prática de transição pós-capitalista no século 20, a segunda avalia as insuficiências daquela experiência e os requisitos para uma teoria geral de transição. Aqui, levamos em conta o problema da transição tendo como um dos eixos principais a questão do Estado. A teoria da revolução permanente de Trotski, que passa por vários momentos, reafirma - incorporando alguns elementos específicos - as características essenciais do problema do Estado e da transição emanados dos clássicos da teoria social marxista. Todavia, trabalhando com uma metodologia e uma perspectiva originais em relação à categoria da totalidade - que abre um campo ainda não explorado para as teorias de transformações sociais -, deixa um legado de validade duradoura sobre o tema. A segunda, por sua vez, avança em direções e abordagens até então não... / From 2008 until now, with the outbreak of the most important economic crisis since 1929, the discourse and the neoliberal ideology had lost even more strength, once the state has proved to be the ultimate guarantor of the capital system in a global level. The social problems worldwide that are on the roots of the crisis pile up without positive outlook for its resolutions. Beside this, the possibility of a social alternative order to capital and the theoretical-political legacy of Karl Marx are now, although timidly, being again debated. From this scenario, the issue of post-capitalist transition, and post-capital, arises, with the intensification of the crisis, as a very important problem for theories of substantive social changes. The work thus investigates two of them: the permanent revolution from Leon Trotski and the struggle beyond capital from István Mészáros, taken as representative of the social theory inspired by Marx and produced in the last century on the issue. While the first became involved with the repercussions - and detours - of the main practical experience of post-capitalist transition in the 20th century, the second assesses the shortcomings of that experience and the requirements for a general theory of transition. Here, we consider the problem of transition having the question of the state as one of its main focus. Trotski's theory of permanent revolution has different moments but as a whole reaffirms - incorporating some specific elements - the essential characteristics for the problem of the state and transition given from the classics of marxist social theory. However, working with a methodology and a original perspective on the totality category - which opens a field unexplored for social changes theories -, he leaves a legacy of great validity on the subject. A partir da análise das principais obras dos autores, buscou-se extrair as categorias analíticas centrais em suas formulações, para em seguida indicar a relação entre os conceitos trotsksitas (a lei do desenvolvimento desigual e combinado, a teoria da revolução permanente, os fundamentos contidos no Programa de Transição e o conceito de bonapartismo sui generis) e as ideias de Caio Prado Júnior (colônia, nação e revolução), Ruy Mauro Marini (superexploração da força de trabalho e subimperialismo) e Florestan Fernandes (revolução dentro da ordem, revolução contra a ordem e autocracia burguesa). / This work wants to indicate the occurrences of Leon Trotsky’s thought in the theoretical elaborations from Caio Prado Júnior, Ruy Mauro Marini and Florestan Fernandes about the genesis and particularities of the brazilian social formation. From the analisys of the author’s main works, there was made an effort to extract the central analytical categories in their formulations, to then indicate the relation between the trotskists concepts (the law of uneven and combined development, the theory of permanent revolution, the fundamentals contained in the Transitional Program and the concept of bonapartism sui generis) and the ideias of Caio Prado Júnior (colony, nation and revolution), Ruy Mauro Marini (overexploitation of the labor force and subimperialism) and Florestan Fernandes (revolution within the order, revolution against the order and bourgeois autocracy).

Trata-se de uma pesquisa que busca compreender o processo criativo de Hirszman nesse curta-metragem, sua produção e circulação e as motivações que o fizeram eleger e representar o operário como protagonista de sua produção cinematográfica inaugural. Deste modo, respeitando cada uma das etapas da realização cinematográfica, a dissertação é dividida em três partes, cada uma apresenta-se com uma metodologia específica para seu desenvolvimento. Na primeira, o estudo busca, por meio da "Crítica de Processo" (SALLES, 2006), compreender a criação deste filme a partir dos documentos produzidos no percurso de sua realização, sendo os mesmos disponíveis na Cinemateca Brasileira (SP) e no Arquivo Edgard Leuenroth - AEL (Unicamp). Posteriormente, a pesquisa reflete acerca da produção do curta-metragem, examinando seu caderno de continuidade e os periódicos impressos contemporâneos a sua produção, além de analisar sua narrativa cinematográfica e suas influências estéticas. Na última etapa, há o trabalho de pesquisa sobre a recepção crítica do filme, por meio das resenhas publicadas, das ponderações sobre as divergências ideológicas entre as lideranças políticas do Centro Popular de Cultura e os cineastas do Cinema Novo e a representação do operário proposta por Hirszman por meio do conceito de "popular" (RAMOS, 2000; e BERNARDET; GALVÃO, 1983) / Abstract: This research performs a reflection on the movie Pedreira de São Diogo (1962), from the filmmaker Leon Hirszman (1937-1987). This is research that seeks to understand the creative process made by Hirszman, this short film production and distribution and the motivations that did vote and represent the worker as the protagonist of your opening film production. Thus, respecting each stage of filmmaking, the dissertation is divided into three parts, each introduced with a specific methodology for their development. At first, the study seeks, through the Review Process (SALLES, 2006), understanding the creation of this film from the documents produced in the course of its realization, and they are available in Brazilian Cinema (SP) and the Edgard Leuenroth Archive - AEL (Unicamp). Subsequently, the research reflects on the production of the short film examining his notebook continuity and contemporary its production print journals, and analyzing their cinematic storytelling and his aesthetic influences. The 1950 Census of Florida shows that only 24.3 per cent of all white residents of the state twenty-five years of age and over had completed high school. A study made by Marshall of the 1952 class at Leon County High School, Tallahassee, Florida, disclosed that 77.1 per cent of the students who entered the seventh grade in 1946 for the first time continued to graduation or one year after class had graduated. This is a higher percentage of graduating students than in many other high schools of the state. It is assumed desirable to have these young people stay in school the allotted time and to provide for them an educational program appropriate to their needs and to the needs of the society in which they live.
