Program rozvoje venkova v období 2007-2013: Hodnocení plateb za přírodní znevýhodnění poskytované v horských oblastech a plateb poskytovaných v jiných znevýhodněných oblastech (LFA) / The Rural development program 2007-2013: The evaluation of payments provided in the mountain areas, and payments provided for a natural disadvantage in other less-favoured areas (LFA)Sobotková, Kateřina January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the meaning of agriculture in the country area and its effect on the development of the rural areas. My goal is to evaluate the actual realization of resources, which are spent on the support of farmers, who practice in areas with less favourable conditions. This is performed on a regional analysis of the number of handed and accepted requests and on the amount of the land usage in disadvantaged areas with the result that my thesis will concentrate on the evaluation of a regional differentiation. This diploma work will deal with the issue of what kind of the Czech agricultural disadvantaged areas happen to use the financial resources in terms of LFA, and what are the main factors of such differentiation in the relation with the aims of this support. The theoretical part of this thesis targets on the country development and the meaning of agriculture in the country area. It describes methods and approaches of determination of the rural area and less-favoured areas. It also characterizes the Rural Development policy in Czech Republic. The analytical part of this work contains a regional payment analysis (in the concept of the rural area) for a natural disadvantage provided in the mountain areas, and payments provided in other less-favoured areas (LFA) in the programming period 2007-2013 in the Czech Republic. For this regional analysis there are used data especially from the implementation organ SZIF, data from the Agricultural Accounting Data Network FADN, and finally data from the Annual Report of the Rural Development Program. Such data are interpreted on the basis of the method of cartographical projection. Farther, this thesis tries to find out if the aim of such action is realized. On account of the performed analysis, my thesis summarizes acquired findings and draws consecutive conclusions from the realization of support.

Interactive Mobile Augmented Reality For Fitness ActivitiesKoech, Irene January 2020 (has links)
Augmented reality (AR) has revolutionized the way people view the real world, AR has been used across a range of sectors. Recently, researchers examined the possibilities for improving user experience with augmented reality. However, there are few studies on adoption of AR users' interactions with online data resources. The aim of this study is proposing a mobile augmented reality interface for users to interact and engage with online data. The prototype is based on the framework of a PEAR (Public Engagement Augmented Reality) initiative for further AR development. PEAR framework provides an AR extension and enables users to engage with online information through AR representation [1]. This prototype was developed and implemented using Unity game engines C# and Vuforia SDK on the front-end, both NodeJS servers with MongoDB were used on the back-end. The prototype was tested and then used in a 2-week user study to analyse and validate the framework.

Cleaner Chrome Tanning: Technology of low-chrome tanning without salt, pickling and short procedureJianxun, Luo, Yanjuan, Feng, Hewei, Ma 26 June 2019 (has links)
Content:
Tannery effluent with high salinity and chromium have a serious environmental impact. The traditional chrome tannage that involved the use of sodium chloride, acid and chromium is one of the main origins of
salt and chromium pollution. In this study, a non-pickling, low-chrome tanning technology was developed. The novel Chrome-free agent SL can be directly employed to tan bated cattle pelts and the wet white was obtained. Then the shaved wet white was pre-treated by Poly-carboxylate auxiliary agent and tanned by chrome powder. It was tested that the shrinkage temperature of the wet white, the initial pH of
chrome tanning, the consumption of chrome powder, the shrinkage temperature of the chrome-tanned leather, the content of Cr2O3 in effluent, the absorption of chromium and the other properties of the
chrome-tanned leather. It was found that the shrinkage temperature of the wet white tanned by SL reached over 80oC, the optimal consumption of Poly-carboxylate auxiliary agent was 2wt% based on the
weight of the shaved wet white, the better low-chrome tanning conditions were that the wet white was tanned by 4wt% chromium powder for 150~180min at room temperature when the initial pH value was 3.5. The next processes were same as traditional chrome tannage. Meanwhile, the shrinkage temperature of the leather tanned by the low-chrome tannage reached more than 95oC, the absorption of chromium was 96%, the content of Cr2O3 in the effluent was under 200mg/L. For the low-chrome tanned leather, the absorption of dyestuff, fat-liquor reached 99.5%, 82.5% respectively. Compared with the traditional chrome tanned process, not only the conventional pickling process was eliminated, the process was been shorten and reduce the pollution of sodium chloride, but it can reduce 50% of the consumption of Chrome powder, improve the absorption of chromium and can reduce content of Cr2O3 in effluent.

Vnímání rychlosti vozidla z pohledu rozdílných řidičských zkušeností / Perception of vehicle speed from the perspective of different driving experienceBudinová, Nela January 2021 (has links)
Presented diploma thesis deals with the perception of vehicle speed from the different driving experiences point of view. The thesis is divided into two parts. First, the theoretical part is about motor vehicle construction, driving experiences, and further about the influence of gender on driving and sensory and emotional perception of humans. The second part is dedicated to practical measurement, where vehicle speeds were estimated during driving tests. During this measurement, the test circuit was passed two times in each vehicle. First run was dedicated to full concentration on a drive. In the second run, the respondents were distracted by sudoku solving. Subsequent evaluation of the obtained data is being executed from different points of view – speed category, men vs women, and roads category.

An exploration of mothers’ experiences, perceptions and attitudes towards existing behavioural change communication interventions on exclusive breastfeeding in Mpika District, Zambia.Ng’ambi, Baleke January 2020 (has links)
Magister Public Health - MPH / World Health Organisation and UNICEF recommend exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) for the first six months and continuation of breastfeeding for two years and beyond. Despite this recommendation, EBF rates have not been optimal globally, with coverage ranging from 1% - 23% in Europe to 0.3% - 73% in sub Saharan Africa. In Zambia, despite recording an increase in EBF during the first six months of life from 61% (2007) to 73% (2014), there is a rapid decline in EBF as infants get older during the first six months, from 94% among infants aged less two (02) months to 45% among infants aged 4 to 5 months. This study explored mothers’ experiences, perceptions and attitudes towards existing Behavioural Change Communication (BCC) interventions and the possible influence thereof on the adoption of exclusive breastfeeding among mothers of infants under six months in Tazara and Chilonga areas of Mpika district.

Apprentissage d'estimateurs sans modèle avec peu de mesures - Application à la mécanique des fluides / Machine learning of model-less estimators using a limited amount of sensors - Applied to fluid flowsKasper, Kévin 12 October 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with sparsity promoting techniques in order to produce efficient estimators relying only on a small amount of measurements given by sensors. These sensor locations are crucial to the estimators and have to be chosen meticulously. The proposed methods do not require dynamical models and are instead based on a collection of snapshots of the field of interest. This learning sequence can be acquired through measurements on the real system or through numerical simulation. By relying only on a learning sequence, and not on dynamical models, the proposed methods become general and applicable to a variety of systems. These techniques are illustrated on the 2-D fluid flow around a cylindrical body. The pressure field in the neighbourhood of the cylinder has to be estimated from a limited amount of surface pressure measurements. For a given arrangement of the sensors, efficient estimators suited to these locations are proposed. These estimators fully harness the information given by the limited amount of sensors by manipulating sparse representations and classes. Cases where the measurements are no longer made on the field to be estimated can also be considered. A sensor placement algorithm is proposed in order to improve the performances of the estimators.Multiple extensions are discussed : incorporating past measurements, past control inputs, recovering a field non-linearly related to the measurements, estimating a vectorial field, etc.
