<p>This study has the purpose of looking at the current and future position of recordlabels from a context involving the technological developments, while theopportunities for the artists are changing. As the actors inside them music industryfind themselves in an ever changing climate where traditional supply chains arethreatened by new technology, the record labels need to change the way they workin order to maintain their existence in the music industry. The study has beenconducted by interviewing a number of people involved in the music industry, byusing a qualitative method approach. The conclusion of the study shows that thetraditional way of doing business by treating music as a product that makes revenueis gone. Instead the labels have to take on new roles formerly run by third parties inorder to survive and be profitable, especially since artists can now in control ofactivities that used to be controlled by the record label.</p>

Dans ce mémoire, nous évaluerons la question de la régulation sociale du commerce international. La responsabilité sociale des entreprises (RSE) est proposée comme solution afin que les entreprises prennent en considération et réduisent les impacts négatifs de leurs activités sur le plan social et environnemental. Plusieurs initiatives privées de RSE ont vu le jour, mais, fait notable, la Belgique a opté pour une certification publique, élaborée et surveillée par le gouvernement, le label social belge (LSB). Depuis plusieurs années, la RSE gagne en popularité, mais ces initiatives privées de régulation ne sont pas contraignantes, à l'inverse du LSB. Dans ce mémoire, nous aborderons la question de la régulation publique de la RSE en nous appuyant sur le cas du LSB dont les forces et les faiblesses seront analysées dans le cadre des défis institutionnels de la gouvernance économique à l'ère de la mondialisation. À travers l'évolution historique de la RSE, nous situerons l'émergence d'une régulation sociale publique des entreprises comme le LSB. La nature et la pertinence de cette certification sociale nationale seront discutées en soulignant les problèmes de coopération internationale pourtant nécessaire pour rendre plus efficaces de tels instruments contraignants de régulation. Plus généralement, ce mémoire abordera la question épineuse du « réencastrement » de la RSE dans le politique afin de lier à nouveau l'économique et le politique, démarche essentielle pour résoudre la problématique de la régulation sociale des firmes. ______________________________________________________________________________

Die vorliegende Arbeit analysiert die Möglichkeiten einer Daten- und Kontaktaggregation im Umfeld Sozialer Netzwerke. Zunächst wird eine Kategorisierung der wichtigsten Netzwerke und Frameworks vorgenommen. Die Funktionalitäten von acht Sozialen Netzwerken und fünf Frameworks werden anhand einer zuvor entwickelten Evaluierungsmatrix detailliert untersucht. Dabei stehen insbesondere die Funktionalitäten der APIs im Vordergrund. Aufbauend auf den Ergebnissen der Analyse wird ein Prototyp für eine Daten- und Kontaktaggregation konzipiert, implementiert und evaluiert. Abschließend werden Empfehlungen zu den verwendeten Technologien und für die Konzipierungen von zukünftigen Daten- und Kontaktaggregationen im Umfeld Sozialer Netzwerke gegeben. / This thesis analyses the potential of a data- and contactaggreation in the context of social networks. It provides an overview and categorization of the most important networks and frameworks. The functions of eight social networks and five frameworks are analyzed on the basis of a previously developed matrix of evaluation. Special attention is paid to the features of the APIs. Using the results from the evaluation a prototype is planned, coded and evaluated. Finally, regards for future aggregations between social networks are elaborated.
