Vřeteník a hlavní vřeteno horizontálního soustružnického centra / Headstock and main spindle of horizontal turning center

Suda, Martin January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with headstock and spindle of the universal turning center. In the introduction part is a destription of the headstock morfology. It describe how the spindle and headstock can be solved in terms of its bearing, installation, used clamping interface, lubrrication, cooling and sealing. The second part is devoted to the universals turning machines which are available on the market. In the final part is the practical solution of the headstock and spindle on which can be performed for milling and drilling operation instead of turning.

Optimalizace výrobního procesu / Production process optimization

Hejzlar, Aleš January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the production process optimization. The cutting operation and the lathe-turning issue is described in this thesis. In the practical part the production process is analyzed, the designed experiment (DOE) is suggested and evaluated. In the end of the practical part there is the evaluation of the machined material in the light of microstructure. On the basis of the partial findings the enclosures are done and the recommendations leading to the production optimization are suggested.

Planetová převodovka pohonu desky karuselu poháněná direct-drive motorem. / Planetary Gear Box Used for Drive Table of Vertical Lathe Driven by the Direct Drive Engine

Žila, Slavomil January 2010 (has links)
The main theme of this thesis is an analysis, desing and construction of a planetary gearbox used for a drive of a vertical lathe table. The theoretical part of the thesis describes fundamental features and terms of planetary gearboxes and torque motors. In the next part of my work I design loose functioning of toothing. The calculation part of my work is processed in accordance with technical standards. The practical part of my work deals with a description of the project and the implementation of the device. The drawing documentation is processed with Cad system and it includes general assembly drawing and drawings of the three important components.

Možnosti systému Sinumerik při programování rotační strojní součásti / Sinumerik tools for programming of rotational machine part

Slavík, Daniel January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with a manufacture of rotating mechanical component on CNC lathe machine with Sinumerik control system. At first the chosen component is briefly described and then NC program is created in Sinutrain Operate 4.5 system. Afterwards the program is verified by simulation. Within the diploma thesis a technological documentation is elaborated that contains a new technological course of manufacture and a manufacture drawing of the component. The final part of this thesis is focused on technical-economic evaluation of newly designed manufacture with verification of cutting conditions and required output of the CNC machine. The outcome of the thesis defines an hour rate of CNC lathe and price of component that regards to newly presented manufacture.

Volba řezných nástrojů, podmínek a obráběcího stroje pro soustružení cívek / Choice of Cutting Tools, Conditions and Machine Tool for Turning of Coil

Skládaný, Jakub January 2016 (has links)
The purpose of work is to provide a manufacturing processes, cutting and machine tools for machining of small parts. The proposals are designed for high volume production with a maximum productivity. The first half is largely nature of the search, which analyzes issue of tools and machines for production of rotary parts. Further proposals are developed manufacturing processes for different types of machines including multi-spindle lathes. The main result of this work is to determine appropriate type of machine for the production of specified parts.

The Conversion of Manual Machining Equipment into Smart, Connected Systems with Real-Time Monitoring and Issue Identification Capabilities

Williams, David Lee 01 June 2019 (has links)
With the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, information technology and manufacturing systems are merging to form what is now known as Smart Manufacturing. However, with this newer technology being integrated with newer pieces of machining equipment, companies with legacy equipment occasionally are in a bind since these machines were not designed or built with the fundamental components of smart manufacturing systems: unified connectivity, real-time monitoring, and issue identification. The purpose of this research is to provide a solution for converting manual machining equipment into smart systems with these fundamental components of smart manufacturing. The pieces of equipment that were the subjects of this experimentation were an HJ-1100 Kingston lathe and four ACER Vertical Turret Milling machines. None of these machines had any of these capabilities at the inception of this project. These machines were successfully converted into smart systems with varying degrees of reliability between the lathe and the four mills in the case of real-time monitoring and issue identification. The setups and configurations to achieve these three smart components are described and provided.

Estimation of Input Forces on a Cutting Tool using Strain Output Signals

Mahato, Ram Pradip, Ma, Jiacheng January 2022 (has links)
Lathes are frequently used in industrial production. It is an important parameter to calculate the force exerted by the cutter head on the raw material. Knowing the force acting on the cutting tool will aid in predicting the displacement of the cutting edge as well as predict displacement of the workpiece. The main purpose of this paper is to find a way to calculate the force exerted on the cutting tool tip. The magnitude of the tooltip force is estimated without the use of a force sensor. Instead, strain sensors are used to collect strain signals, and acceleration sensors are used to collect acceleration signals. Combine these two signals to calculate the magnitude of force. The force-strain frequency response function is calculated. The force-strain FRF acts as a bridge connecting force and strain signals. Calculate the input force signal on the cutting tool tip using the strain signal. In this way, is available to obtain the force time-image. Changes in force can be predicted by looking for force-time laws. In this thesis using MATLAB software for simulation and actual experimental measurements. Verify the reliability of the calculation method. The method and MATLAB code for calculating force-strain FRF are researched and written. Simulate the cutting tool input-output model in MATLAB. Combined with the actual experimental measurement results, the accuracy and limitations of this calculation method are analyzed. Discuss directions for future work.
