Podnikatelský záměr / Entrepreneurial Project

Vágó, Gábor January 2011 (has links)
The topic of my dissertation work is The Competition Analysis of company Stroje a Mechanismy, a.s. As the main goal, that I staked, is to gather as many relevant information as possible about the issue, closely analyze the company and compare it with their main competitors. I´ll try to suggest several tips how to improve the situation and how to increase competitiveness based on my competition analysis. I choose this topic, because I think that the one of the most important thing for modern company is to actively checking competitors, assimilate them, and always be a one step ahead, and as a delivery company could be an attractive partner for its customers.

Effektivisering av godsmottagning : En fallstudie om effektivisering inom godsmottagningen på Plasman Group / Streamlining at the goods receipt

Aden, Subeyr, Singh Sandhey, Akash January 2021 (has links)
Inefficient material handling has a direct impact on the company's costs, so it is important to map different processes in the business. The unnecessary activities contribute to the need to implement continuous improvements. Based on the theories on which the study is based, it consists of Logistics, Lean, Materials Management, Warehouse Layout and ABC analysis. The goal is to find improvement suggestions that are linked to waste. Initially, a material flow chart was performed at the goods reception to investigate what processes look like in operations using standard symbols and figures used in logistics contexts. The focus is on utilizing storage areas and the waste that arises in the event of obstacles. The implementation of the study could be performed with interviews and observations that contributed to a more constructive work. There was a standardized way of working the doll was the bearing surface and the waste that was the problem. The studied area in the goods reception had four wastes that were identified. These are the following transports, rework, movements and warehouses. ABC analysis was performed to give the company a good knowledge of material handling. Using data from the company designed an ABC classification to help with inventory management. The A-classification accounts for 70.42% of the total articles, B accounts for 24.47% and C which stands for 5.11%. It turned out that the C-items are not very important, while A and B are in-demand items that quickly disappear from stock. The study concludes with improvement proposals linked to the two issues that enable cost savings from an efficiency perspective. The authors' conclusion of the study is that there are good conditions for the company to implement the improvement proposals.

En fallstudie på störningar och förbättringar inom sjukhusprocesser utifrån lean / A case study on failures and improvement in hospital processes based on lean

Eshagi, Angelica, Jansson, Jonas January 2020 (has links)
The need to increase the Swedish health care system has been a debated topic over the years. Long que times, overloaded workflow and shortage of staff are some of the well-known issues of today’s health care system. Multiple management methods have been demonstrated in order to increase efficiency in health care. Such a solution has been Lean management. The orthopedic hospital Mölndal has like many other hospitals interferences which ends up disturbing both the patient and the management negatively. During year 2019 occurred 1054 planned operations out of which 951 operations were executed in the process called hip- and knee prothesis. About a third of all operations received at least one form of interferences in the system. The result ended up being a total of 103 planned operations that did either got cancelled or delayed. The key factors to these interferences was insufficient communication flow, overburdening the resources and inefficient IT systems. These problems led to redoing tasks, insufficient information transfers, unnecessary waiting and other types of wastes which ended up effecting patients operations plans. In order to render the processes effective this study has come to conclusions that the hospital needs to focus and prioritize on flow efficiency in order to achieve a pulling system, designing a more efficient IT system and clarifying coworkers responsibilities in order to get a more effective information flow. Many hospitals across the globe have similar problems and one of the possible solutions is lean, which has shown excellent results, when it has been implemented in the correct way.
