O pressuposto é que não existem ferramentas de análise de assunto adequadas para a análise de obras de ficção devido à ausência de procedimentos metodológicos que contribuam efetivamente para o tratamento desse tipo de documento para o estabelecimento do tema. Dessa forma, propõem-se a busca subsídios teórico-metodológicos no percurso gerativo de sentido, componente da Semântica Discursiva, para compreensão e extração do tema em obras de ficção. Os objetivos da pesquisa são: a análise, identificação e aplicação metodológica do percurso, buscando identificar os textos figurativos e temáticos, bem como a concretização do sentido do texto; o estudo dos atores que permeiam o encadeamento das figuras e dos temas, determinando as relações existentes nesse tipo de superestrutura narrativa; identificar e analisar o nível de experiência na atuação profissional dos bibliotecários na atividade de indexação de obras ficcionais; identificar e analisar as atitudes dos profissionais bibliotecários em relação à atividade de indexação com vistas a oferecer embasamento teórico para futuros estudos que efetivem uma proposta metodológica para a identificação do tema de obras ficcionais. O método escolhido para a realização da investigação é a pesquisa descritiva por permitir a observação, o registro, a análise e a correlação dos fatos. A entrevista estruturada e focalizada será utilizada como técnica de coleta de dados que permitirá a comparação e reflexão das respostas... / The works of fiction have no tools for appropriate subject analysis due to the absence of methodological procedures that contribute effectively to the treatment of this kind of document to the establishment of the theme. Thus, it is proposed to search for subsidies in the gerativo theoretical and methodological journey in a sense, part of Discursive Semantic for understanding and extracting the theme in works of fiction. The objectives of the research are the analysis, identification and methodological application of the route, seeking to identify those figurative and thematic texts as well as the implementation of the meaning of the text, the study of the actors that permeate the sequence of figures and topics, determining the relationship in that kind of superstructure narrative, identify and analyze the level of experience in the professional performance of librarians in the activity Index of works of fiction, identifying and analyzing the attitudes of professional librarians in relation to the activity of indexing and the offering theoretical basis studies for future studies that put into effect that a methodological proposal for identifying the subject of fictional works. The chosen method to carry out the research is the descriptive search that allows the observation, the registration, examination and the correlation of facts. The structured and focused interview will be used as a technique for collecting data that will allow comparison and reflection of the answers. The thematic and figurative journey will be applied and analysed in short stories for the establishment of the theme (Phase 1). The collection of data was held in three libraries of UNESP Libraries Network in order to extract the techniques used by librarians to identify the topic of fictional documents (Stage 2). The final phase includes the transcription and analysis of results and reflection enabling guidelines for the analysis of documentary works fictional.

Foi necessário fomentar um questionamento sobre o aboutness e sua relação com a mímese e a idéia de informação como coisa de Michael Buckland. Chegando assim a evidência temática. Em seguida, conceituou-se o gênero crônica e sua forma como universo documental para a Ciência da Informação. Analisando as crônicas de Plínio Marcos, produzidas entre 1964 e 1980, observou-se a mobilidade da estrutura canônica da narrativa, a saber, manipulação, competência, performance e sanção. A complexidade da estrutura revelou a dificuldade no desenvolvimento de uma metodologia de análise. Como conjetura, aplicou-se o percurso gerativo de sentido, depois de dividir a crônica em episódios. O resultado foi a possibilidade de analisar as crônicas a partir da fragmentação de sua superestrutura e realizar um percurso de temas para encontrar a tematicidade intrínseca do documento narrativo ficcional. / Starting from the question about the kind of intrinsical information in the fictional narrative, this research looked for data for documental analysis. It was necessary to develop a question regarding to aboutness and its relation to the mimese and the ideia of information-as-thing by Michael Buckland. Reaching by this way an evidence to a aboutness. After that, chronicle genere was classified and its form as a documental universe for the Information Science. Analysing Plínio Marcos´ chronicle, that were produced from 1964 to 1980, it was noticed the mobility of the structure canonisa of the narrative, such as manipulation, competence, performance and sanction. The complexity of the structure showed the difficulty in the development of an analysis´methodology. As a conjecture, it was applied the sense developing way, after dividing a chronicle in episodes. The result was the possibility to analyse the chronicle from the fragmetation of its superstructure and create a way of themes to find the aboutness in the fictional narrative document.

As fontes de informação jurídica são representadas pela doutrina, legislação e jurisprudência. Na literatura da Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação não há trabalhos que sistematizem o ato da leitura documentária dessas fontes. Partindo deste pressuposto a presente pesquisa projetou os seguintes objetivos: fornecer subsídios que auxiliem os bibliotecários no acesso e compreensão dos conceitos que permeiam a ciência jurídica; detalhar as características das fontes de informação jurídica, e desenvolver modelo estratégico de leitura técnica da fonte de informação jurisprudencial. Inicialmente, exploraram-se aspectos cognitivos que influenciam o ato de ler. Posteriormente, demonstrou-se a importância da Terminologia e da Lingüística Documentária ao oferecem instrumentos que auxiliam o bibliotecário no conhecimento da terminologia e compreensão das definições da área do Direito, a primeira produzindo a compilação dos termos; a segunda, estruturando e sistematizando os campos conceituais nas áreas de especialidade. Finalizando essa etapa exibiram-se conceitos da indexação e das linguagens documentárias. Prosseguindo com a pesquisa apresentaram-se definições da Ciência do Direito, destacando a estrutura textual dos acórdãos, das leis e dos pareceres jurídicos. Na seqüencia, iniciou-se o desenvolvimento do modelo de leitura técnica jurisprudencial com a exibição de conceitos referentes à dinâmica processual, em especial os procedimentos recursais no âmbito do Superior Tribunal de Justiça - STJ. Na fase de aplicação dos modelos utilizaram-se recursos especiais - RESPs, publicados na Revista Eletrônica da Jurisprudência do STJ. Da avaliação do modelo podem-se tirar as seguintes conclusões: para a compreensão da terminologia jurídica e indexação da decisão judicial (acórdão) é necessário que o bibliotecário aproprie-se dos conceitos jurídicos, entenda as fases do processo judicial e use técnicas estratégicas de leitura para a análise de certas partes do acórdão - a ementa, o voto do relator e, quando necessário, o relatório. Ao utilizar as técnicas sugeridas no modelo ora proposto, o bibliotecário conseguirá indexar o acórdão sem necessariamente lê-lo na íntegra. / The sources of legal information are represented by doctrine, legislation and jurisprudence. In the literature of the Librarian Science and that of the Information Science there are not works that systematize the act of the documentary reading of these sources. Therefore, the present research aims at: providing useful information to the librarians in the access and comprehension of the concepts of the legal science; detailing the characteristics of the sources of legal information; and developing a strategic model for the technical reading of the jurisprudence source of information. Innitially, cognition aspects that influence the act of reading were explored. Later, the importance of terminology and documentary linguistics was demonstrated by offering the librarian useful tools to the understanding of the terminology and definitions of the Law field, firstly by producing a compilation of the terms and then by structuring and systematizing conceptual fields in the specific areas. This stage of the research ends by displaying concepts of the index process and documentary languages. Next, definitions of the Law Science are presented, highlighting the textual framework of the sentence, laws, and legal opinion. There follows the development of the model of jurisprudence technical reading, presenting the concepts related to the dynamics of legal proceedings, specially appeal procedures to the Superior Tribunal de Justiça - STJ (Upper Court of Appeals). In the stage of application of the model, court decisions related to specials appeals - RESPs - published in the \"Revista Eletrônica da Jurisprudência do STJ\" were used. Upon evaluation of the model, the following conclusions were drawn: in order to understand the legal terminology and the indexation of the court decision, the librarian must internalize the legal concepts, understand the steps of the legal proceedings, and use reading strategies in the analisys of certain parts of the decision - the summary, the vote of the reporter and, when necessary, the report. By using the techniques suggested in the model, the librarian will be able to index the decision without having to read the whole of the decision.

The Documentary Reading Model for Indexing of Scientific Articles by Fujita (2003a) is a proposal of improvement and evolution of the methodology of indexing through the indexer's metacognition (non-automatized behaviour as the reader is conscious of how the reading is being carried out), using the knowledgement of textual structures of the reader, relying on strategies of systematic approach of concepts offered in his education. Considering the learning of the documentary reading process in classroom, it is searched into the applicability of this Model as pedagogical resource to apprentice indexers. By means of introspective technique of data collecting of the Interative Verbal Protocol, observing the process of apprehending the methodology, this research reveals difficulties by the apprentice and his development towards more satisfactory grades of carring out the indexing task. It was chosen three students from the second class of Librarianship that had not attended the discipline Indexing and Abstracting and were intested in taking part in the applying of the Verbal Protocol combined with the indexing task. The analysis of the Verbal Protocol's transcriptions shows that the apprentices had difficulties in identifying the concepts of this Model: to choose terms to represent the concepts, to understand the terminology of the medical science and to to set up the terms' form (singular or phrases). Such difficulty is relating to the using of the Reading Model adapted from the original where there was inversion of the concepts action and object.
