Nessas peças, suas personagens abordam os direitos da criança, tema de grande relevância social no Brasil. Tendo como embasamento teórico os estudos discursivos do Círculo de Bakhtin, buscamos identificar como os valores ideológicos relativos às questões que envolvem os direitos da criança no país se materializam nessas peças. Buscamos também responder a outras questões, tais como: Qual o destinatário previsto pelas peças? Considerando a natureza verbo-visual do corpus, como o momento da infância é representado? Quais discursos podem ser identificados nas peças publicitárias e de quais esferas de atividade se originam? Com esse intuito, trabalhamos com alguns conceitos bakhtinianos que nos possibilitam realizar as análises, na medida em que amadurecemos nosso entendimento teórico dos estudos do Círculo. Os conceitos de enunciado concreto, esfera de atividade, autor, gêneros do discurso e destinatário são fundamentais para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa. Com as análises, identificamos a presença de um duplo destinatário previsto, tanto infantil quanto adulto, fenômeno discursivo que demanda estudos posteriores. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This research aims to analyze dialogically a set of advertisements signed by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) along with Maurício de Sousa, an acclaimed Brazilian cartoonist know for having created the Monica's Gang. In these advertisements, the characters from Monica's Gang approach the subject of children's rights, a very socially relevant theme in Brazil. The selected theoretical basis of the research comprehends the discourse studies by The Bakhtin Circle, as it is our goal to identify how the ideological values pertaining to children's rights in the country are materialized in this campaign. It is also our goal to answer other questions, such as: what is the recipient of the advertisements? Considering the verbal-visual nature of the corpus, how is childhood represented? Which discourses can be identified in the advertisements and which realm of human activity are the originally from? Having set those goals, we work with a few Bakhtinian concepts which enable us to do the analysis as we further develop our own theoretical understanding of the studies by the Circle. The concepts of concrete utterance, sphere of activity, author, genres of speech and recipient are fundamental for the development of this research. The analysis shows the presence of a double recipient, both adults and children, which demands further investigation. A nação angolana ideada pelos intelectuais, num determinado momento histórico, exigiria a criação de signos de resistência, fator que levou toda uma geração de escritores angolanos, perseguindo o sentimento nacional e a construção da identidade, a adotar uma postura militante em seus escritos e, neles, apresentar heróis da resistência. O protagonista de João Vêncio, ao contrário do que era de se esperar, trata-se de um anti-herói que confessa toda sua humana contradição e mostra suas fraquezas, seu lado "lombrosiano" através de uma longa e sinuosa fala. Luandino Vieira, na construção dessa complexa e fugidia obra, segundo o que se quer provar, realiza o que denominamos picardia lingüística. Tal fator nos levou a estabelecer, como contraponto para leitura da obra, a picaresca espanhola. A leitura contrastiva, pois, foi uma maneira de nos aproximar de nos aproximar de João Vêncio. Uma leitura linear não abarcaria os meandros insondáveis da escritura luandina, que aponta para a universalidade recuperando poeticamente a angolanidade. / Abstract: The main goal of this study is to analyse the work of Angolan author Luandino Vieira, specifically the novel João Vêncio: os seus amoresin order to become evident the important function of this author for the angolan literature and the originality of this novel inside the angolan context. The angolan intellectual produced positie heroes in their works of art. But the protagonist João Vêncio is a antiheroe and he confesses his human contradiction and shows his weakness through a long talk. The classic spanish model is the conductor for to illuminate João Vêncio: os seus amores. This is a way to obtain the more complete of the meaning this novel. A linear read cannot see the inexplorate plot of the Luandino's writing. It indicates for the universality and recovers the angolan identity. / Doutor

Sabe-se daí que o tipo de relação que o falante mantém com a língua será determinante do modelo da representação que constrói acerca da sua dimensão funcional. Assim, além da natureza da relação estabelecida, importa-nos examinar aspectos desta construção e questões nela implicadas, como fatores que a provocam e os graus de textualidade e de discursividade resultantes. Vale analisar em que proporção o contexto de prova de redação configura-se como instância interlocutiva, dialógica, por meio da qual aquela construção dialética (não) se dá. Qual o impacto disso na medida da constituição do sujeito discursivo? A resposta poderia refletir-se inclusive na natureza, na qualidade e no nível de comprometimento que o falante-aprendiz firma com o seu texto, definidos, tais níveis, por parâmetros dialógicos do ato de escrever, considerados na interação autor-texto-leitor / The aim of this study is to assess the relationship that students in 9th grade of elementary school set to the text that produce the so-called test writing, noting the possible traits that would show the dialectic construction of themselves as discursive subject and the consequent development of the representation the discursive functionality, so dialogue, the first language, in its written modality.Theoretical and methodologically grounded in sociointeractionist contribution of Vygotsky's guidance, and dialogism of Bakhtin, the study finds that, from a dialectical perspective, the subject and the language mutually constitute interlocutives processes. It is known from this that the kind of relationship that the speaker has with the language will determine the model of representation that builds on its functional dimension. Thus, besides the established relationship of nature, it's examine aspects of construction and issues involved in it, as factors that cause it and the degrees of textuality and discourse resulting. Based on the theory of Italian philosopher Norberto Bobbio, which establishes criteria to set ideological conceptions between right and left wings, this dissertation analysis the role such conceptions play in the criticism made by theorists of economic journalism in Brazil. Based on texts posted at the economic journalism blog of journalism Miriam Leitão between August 2008 and January 2009, a period of worsening of the economic crisis tha had begun in the USA and that had become and international crisis at that time, and analysis is made about the present day language of economic journalism. Such analysis is not only based on theorics who write specifically about economic journalism, but also on the ideas on language by Russian author Mikhail Bakhtin. Also based on his ideas, an analysis is done of the language of economic journalism as a text style and its presumed relations with other styles

This thesis sets out to examine the claims to objective reality and authentication in New critical and Structuralist literary theories, concentrating on their claims to "objectivity" and "scientific validity." It examines the nature of these claims in the light of the original ideas proposed by some of the major New critics and structuralists in the development of their respective "sciences" of literary theory. Taking direction from the nature of reality and objectivity shown by the theorists, the thesis then attempts an assessment of the validity of some of the original perceptions and presuppositions concerning scientific objectivity and reality. It proposes that inconsistencies within the literary theories resulted from the theorists' inability to grasp the complexity and fluctuating nature of the borrowed terminology and principles that they were using. It does so by taking a closer look at the development of some of the more influential physical theories and the philosophical ideas raised by these developments. It then uses Feyerabend's work on paradigms, dominance and ideology to attempt an assessment of the reasons for the literary theorists' perceptions and presuppositions regarding objectivity and reality. This amounts to accounting for the specific scientific models chosen as bases, and also to accounting for the desire for the "scientific approach" at all. Its conclusions give an indication of the extent to which these original errors contributed to the theories' necessary adaptations of perspective and eventual loss of influence, and emphasises the need for the total understanding of concepts in one field by researchers in other fields, especially if those concepts are to be used by the researchers with any degree of precision.

Partindo do conceito bakhtiniano da dialogia, essa dissertação discute sobre como os discursos sobre o sexo, o pecado e a mulher foram se constituindo no ocidente ao longo da história, desde a Grécia antiga, até o século XII, quando ressurgiram os textos clássicos e uma nova forma de amor foi inventada: o amor cortês. Para tanto, aqui é analisado o Tratado do Amor Cortês de André Capelão, clérigo da corte de Champagne, que condensa os vários discursos sobre o sexo e as mulheres, a eles respondendo, polemizando ou pactuando, fornecendo aos discursos que o sucederam um novo discurso com o qual polemizar ou pactuar. Para que conseguisse entender, de fato, quais são os sentidos que podemos atribuir a esse tratado, sem que ignore que ele foi escrito por um homem que respondia a seu tempo, foram narradas aqui várias histórias de vida que, aliadas aos discursos que as constituíram, nos fornecem uma imagem muito mais nítida daquela época que nos escapa pelo tempo que dela nos separamos. Nesse afã, entramos em contato com os discursos da filosofia grega que criaram um novo mundo, sustentado na razão, que extirpava de si o prazer; discursos esses que legavam ao homem o cuidado de si, de sua vida, de sua alma e de seu corpo. Vemos também como esses discursos são compactuados pela Igreja que os transforma aos seus desígnios e assume para si o cuidado de si dos homens, criando técnicas e saberes para exercer seu poder que foi consolidado, por fim, com a confissão obrigatória e com a criação do Santo Ofício / Abstract: One is able able to turn several different views backwards to the Middle Ages, here, however, we chose only one to be presented. Bearing in mind the Bakhtinian concept of dialogism, this dissertation discusses how the discourses about sex, sin, and women have been built in the west throughout the History, from the ancient Greece to the twelfth century, when the classical texts returned and a new way of loving was reinvented: the courtly love. To do it so, it is here analyzed the The Art of Courtly Love by Andreas Capellanus, a clergyman of the court of champagne. This book condenses several discourses about sex and women, responding to them either bringing controversies or supporting. To be able to fully understand, which are the senses one can attribute to this treaty, without overlooking the fact that it was written by a man who responded to his time, there has been narrated a variety of life stories. These stories, together with the discourses that constituted them, helped us to overcome the gap of time that separates us from them, giving us a much neater image of such period. With this purpose, we went through the Greek philosophy discourses. The new world created by them was sustained by reason, eliminating personal pleasure; these discourses bore the idea of self-caring. Men would take care of their lives, souls and bodies. We can notice how these discourses are supported by the church, that transforms them according to its wishes and interests/rules. The church assumes, then, the role of assisting men¿s self-caring, by creating techniques and knowledge to execute its power, which was consolidated, at last, with the compulsory confession and with the creation of the Inquisition / Mestrado / Mestre em Linguística
