This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the usage of comic processing in the lessons of literary education at the second grade of the elementary school. The theoretical part defines the basic expressions concerning the area of literary education, the theory of comic, the theory of adaptation, and effective teaching. The set of four educational scripts employing comic processing of classical works of Czech and world literature, highlighting the up-to-date conception of the literary education in accord with demands on the education which is set down by Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education, was created within the practical part. The main aim of scripts was to support the progress in reader´s literacy and the communicative skills. These educational scripts are not only intended for university students, primarily within the didactics of the Czech language and literature, and beginning teachers, but also for experienced pedagogues. The quality of the scripts was proved in practise.

The thesis deals with possibilities of using literary text under the pedagogy of leisure time when mainly working with children in the elementary school. The theoretical part deals with key concepts of the research particularly in literary education, literary text, choice of text and literary education in leisure time. This part presents also the suitable methodical procedures when working with literary text in the school environment and leisure time activities focused on achieving esthetical experiences and development of key competencies. The practical part includes characteristics of chosen standard and activating educational methods. These methods represent the practical side of specific examples of children's and youth literature. The other part of thesis is also anthology of literary works, which can be used by leisure time teachers in educational process.

The diploma thesis deals with the introduction and subsequent implementation of eleven activities focusing on The Education of Little Tree by Forrest Carter. The three-day literary- educational project had been carried out with pupils attending a primary school. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is concerned with the meaning of literary education aspect of the educational field Czech Language and Literature and discusses the timeless validity of Komensky's educational principles to which education professionals still refer to today. Furthermore, it focuses on the level of integration of literary education into Czech educational programmes, description of the expected outcomes and educational content as well as the key competencies related to this educational field. It describes the meaning and different ways in which a literary work can be interpreted. Finally, it demonstrates the importance of the creativity development in literary education. The main focus of this thesis lies on the practical part which introduces the literary-educational project. This article deals with deviation in Euphrase Kezilahabi´s novel Gamba la Nyoka (1979). We analyse four different types of deviation, namely grammatical, lexical, phonological, and semantic deviation. The objective of this study is to combine linguistic analysis with literary riticism, in order to show how these different types of deviation correspond with the overall message the author conveys in this novel, which is a political novel dealing with the era of establishing Ujamaa policies in rural Tanzania.

Teaching ESL continues to pose a big challenge in most schools in Zambia. This is due to the paucity of teaching resources. While the number of schools has increased, there has not been a corresponding increase in funding due to economic reasons. This study arose from the desire to find alternative resources to teach English as a second language effectively within the communicative language teaching (CLT) framework. Such elements help to improve students' language resources and language skills and they also help to develop their personality. The subject of my work is relation between the language and art - particular art education, namely dramatic, musical, and literary - partly - art education and their application in a foreign language lesson. This thesis deals with the possibilities of application of Zdenek Sverak's work in a kindergarten drama education. The theoretical section summarizes the information about the life and works of Zdenek Sverak and the findings regarding the possibility of using a literary narrative in a kindergarten, while applying the methods of drama education. There follows a description of the developmental patterns of preschool children and their significance for the drama education. The practical part of the thesis uses the books of Zdenek Sverak to process and reflect upon thematic units, in which the drama education methods were used. At the conclusion of the thesis, there is an evaluation of the research observations, obtained during my implementation of the thematic units.

This thesis deals with the work with literary text by the help methods of dramatic education. The main aim is to find out possibilities and specifics for use these methods at work with 5-7 years old children and to offer lessons of dramatic education. This thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with peculiarities of evolution and necessities of 5-7 years old children, an importance of children's game, a role of literature in children's life, methods and techniques of dramatic education and a selection of literary text. The practical part of this thesis offers six lessons of dramatic education. These lessons were be realized at nursery school and in first and second class of primary school. A part of practical work are reflexes of these lessons with particular children's groups and their mutual comparison. This part contains free suggestions of other lessons. These lessons are inspired by various literary genres for children. The results show that with such old children are especially effective these techniques: simple pantomime, association circle, alley, a range of attitudes, live images. Input activities must have clearly defined understandable rules. It is appropriate to assign specific roles and provide or suggest children descriptions of figured situations.
