As obras aqui estudadas s?o: Duas Dan?as (Gizelle e Marquinhos no Frevo), Fantasia para Trompete e Trombone, e Su?te Monette. Dentre as principais caracter?sticas dos trabalhos composicionais do Maestro Duda, podemos destacar a utiliza??o de g?neros musicais da cultura brasileira, por?m, poucos s?o os trabalhos acad?micos que abordam quest?es sobre a interpreta??o deste tipo de m?sica. Este fato foi o que nos impulsionou a realizar uma investiga??o buscando evidenciar os principais aspectos interpretativos dos g?neros utilizados pelo Maestro Duda. Foi realizada uma entrevista semiestruturada com o compositor, objetivando compreender sobre as diversas quest?es referentes ?s Obras e sua carreira musical. Desta forma, o trabalho encontra-se divido em 3 partes: a primeira, cont?m informa??es sobre a carreira musical do compositor, produ??o art?stica e atualiza??o do cat?logo de composi??es para forma??es de instrumentos de metais; a segunda, aborda, de um modo geral, quest?es a respeito da interpreta??o; e a terceira parte, trata dos g?neros musicais utilizados pelo compositor al?m de conter sugest?es interpretativas para o trombonista nas Obras estudadas. / The present work deals with interpretative questions about 3 works for soloist trombone of Maestro Duda, with the objective of suggesting subsidies that aid in the development of the procedures of preparation and execution of the pieces. The works studied here are: Two Dances (Gizelle and Marquinhos in Frevo), Fantasia for Trumpet and Trombone, and Monette Suite. Among the main features of Maestro Duda's compositional works, we can highlight the use of musical genres of Brazilian culture, however, there are few academic works that deal with questions about the interpretation of this type of music. This fact was what prompted us to carry out an investigation seeking to highlight the main interpretative aspects of the genres used by Maetro Duda. A semi - structured interview was conducted with the composer, aiming to understand the various issues concerning the works and his musical career. In this way, the work is divided into 3 parts: the first contains information about the composer's musical career, artistic production and updating of the catalog of compositions for formations of metal instruments; the second addresses in general questions about interpretation; and the third part, deals with the musical genres used by the composer, besides containing interpretative suggestions for the trombonist in the works studied.

This epistemological regeneration view of the scientific paradigm incorporates the poetic language and sociological analysis, and brings out a complex, open and transdisciplinary narrative. To undertake this exercise as interlocutors we have thinkers like Nietzsche, L?vi-Strauss, Edgar Morin and Bruno Latour, to name a few, and as a reference for analyzing the entire artistic production of one of the icons of Brazilian music, Clara Nunes. It is problematized up in this work, through the singer s discography, lyrics and fragments of her biography, the construction of a social character that politicized culture, increased the mestizo consciousness of popular imagery, and exceeded the excessively prosaic narratives of the academic and scientific culture. The central argument of the thesis recognizes a Hybrid Subject Clara Nunes, as indeed is what is expected of the politically engaged intellectual in the 21st century / A tese tem como matriz maior a reorganiza??o da ci?ncia que se edifica a partir de meados do s?culo passado e tem como horizonte a religa??o entre cultura cient?fica e cultura human?stica, bem como o di?logo entre ci?ncia, arte e literatura. Essa via de regenera??o epistemol?gica do paradigma cient?fico incorpora a linguagem po?tica ? an?lise sociol?gica e faz emergir uma narrativa complexa, aberta e transdisciplinar. A pesquisa se valeu da pr?pria partitura, da literatura existente sobre o tema, de discuss?es com os instrumentistas que j? executaram a obra, de entrevistas com o compositor e de depoimentos de outros compositores inseridos nesse contexto. Para ilustrar a teoria, as tr?s imagens gravadas em xilogravura s?o disponibilizadas como na literatura de cordel. / This study suggests sonorous ambiences from the propose of images configured according to the description in ?A Visagem da Mo?a Caetana? by Ariano Suassuna in order to create individual sonorous possibilities that may help musicians to play the piece. The cycle, composed in 1996 (for voice, viola, cello, bass clarinet/clarinet), is formed by three untitled songs. Its text is an excerpt from the ?Folheto XLIV?, from the Romance d?A Pedra do Reino e o pr?ncipe do sangue do vai-e-volta, and describes a sentence of death illustrated by symbols of the Armorial imagery, with neologisms and the peculiar accent from the Sert?o in northeast Brazil. In addition to the analysis of technical difficulties to play, this study informs interpreters of the sonorous timbre and texture used by Nelson Almeida to describe tradition through contemporary musical language. The metaphors and transgressions of reason in Suassuna?s book were explored to create three image compositions so that they may lead interpreters to the sonorous description of the inanimate objects and the affections to which the poetry refers, expanding any technical-interpretative indications limited by musical notation. This research used the Visagem scores, the literature on the theme, discussions with the musicians that played the piece, interviews with Almeida, and composers? reports. To illustrate the theory, the three images are available, printed as woodcut in cordel literature.

Foi sugerida desde o pr?-projeto, a forma??o de quinteto de trompetes, utilizando os principais instrumentos da fam?lia (em Si?, D?, Mi?, piccolo, e fluguelhorn). A metodologia desenvolvida para esta pesquisa se deu por meio do cumprimento de uma agenda de encontros previamente elaborada, constitu?da de uma s?rie de etapas e organizadas em duas fases, onde abordamos a intera??o desde os primeiros impulsos criativos do compositor e sua desenvoltura criativa. Apresentamos tamb?m, como se deu a prepara??o de excertos da obra no decorrer de ensaios-experimentos, bem como a constru??o de uma interpreta??o e de resultados/consequ?ncias provenientes dessa intera??o. / The present work deals with the report on the interaction interpreter-composer, lined with individual biases - mediated by the interpreter-researcher Rudson Ricelli Lima da Silva - and collectives - of the composer Samuel Cavalcanti Correia with the group Trompetearte of EMUFRN. For this, during the project phase, we idealized the making of a work especially to materialize the interests of the present research, where only the instrumentation to be used was determined. From the pre-project, the trumpet quintet formation was suggested, using the main instruments of the family (in Si?, D?, Mi?, piccolo, and fluguelhorn). The methodology developed for this research was accomplished through the fulfillment of an agenda of meetings previously elaborated, constituted of a series of stages and organized in two phases, where we approach the interaction from the first creative impulses of the composer and his creative resourcefulness. We also present the preparation of excerpts from the work in the course of trial-experiments, as well as the construction of an interpretation and results / consequences from this interaction.
