Denna uppsats handlar om vilka föreställningar fem kvinnor inom de människoförändrande organisationerna har om sitt ledarskap. Organisationerna som jag har valt är socialtjänst, kriminalvård samt skola. Kriterierna för de kvinnor som valdes till studien, var att de skulle ha en ledande roll inom den organisation som de är verksamma. De centrala frågeställningar handlar om vilka upplevelser kvinnorna har av sitt ledarskap och ledarskap generellt, men även vad det var som gjorde att de valde att bli ledare. Andra aspekter som tas upp är anledningar till varför det finns så få kvinnor som är ledare, samt hur de ser på denna maktaspekt som ett ledarskap medför. / This essay is about what conception five women within the Human Service Organization have about their leadership. The chosen organizations are social services, correctional treatment and school. The criteria for the women who were chosen for this essay, was that they had to have a leading role within the organization that they are active. The central question of the essay has to do with the experiences of the women’s leadership and leadership in general, but also what it was that motivated them into becoming a leader. Other aspects in the essay have to do with the reason of why there are so few women who are leaders, and also how the deal with the aspect of power which comes with leadership.
