La empresa Avitel Servicios Generales S.A. se dedica al rubro del servicio de proyectos mediante su flota de personal, maquinaria y empresas colaboradoras que tiene en todos los continentes. Su trabajo tanto en megaproyectos como en servicios por determinados años ha resaltado la calidad y compromiso que tiene con sus clientes. En los últimos años la empresa ha tenido el reto de mantener la calidad de sus servicios de mantenimiento con los nuevos cambios tecnológicos y las nuevas actualizaciones que se tiene en el rubro de telecomunicaciones. Existen nuevas tendencias y leyes que demandan un servicio de mayor respuesta y de mayor calidad que se viene incorporando mes a mes. La presente tesis detallará la propuesta de un servicio de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo que pueda crear nuevas oportunidades de valor para la empresa mediante el empleo de tecnología de predicción y análisis de datos basado en business intelligence. Los análisis planteados desarrollan la necesidad de realizar nuevas implementaciones en los sistemas de trabajo para gestionarlos con mayor eficiencia debido a que se tienen tendencias de que el sistema actual no será suficiente para satisfacer la demanda del cliente. La propuesta de implementación de business intelligence busca conocer a detalle las necesidades que se han obtenido en los últimos años de servicio, que esto pueda servir como base para futuras predicciones que generen un planeamiento del área de operaciones alineado a los objetivos de la empresa que es brindar soluciones más que servicios. / The company Avitel Servicios Generales S.A. It is dedicated to the project service sector through its fleet of personnel, machinery and collaborating companies that it has in all the continents. His work in both megaprojects and services for certain years has highlighted the quality and commitment he has with his clients. In recent years, the company has had the challenge of maintaining the quality of its maintenance services with the new technological changes and new updates in the telecommunications sector. There are new trends and laws that demand a higher response and higher quality service that has been incorporated every month. The present thesis will detail the proposal of a service of preventive and corrective maintenance that can create new opportunities of value for the company by means of the employment of technology of prediction and analysis of data based on business intelligence. The proposed analyzes develop the need to make new implementations in the work systems to manage them with greater efficiency because there are tendencies that the current system will not be enough to satisfy the demand of the client. Winter maintenance and cycleways

Increasing cycling as a means of personal travel couldgenerate environmental benefits if associated with acorresponding decrease in car-based transport. In seeking topromote cycling in wintertime, it is desirable to understandhow important the road surface condition is compared to otherfactors in people's decision to cycle or not. In this thesis,the possibility of increasing the number of cyclists byimproving the winter maintenance servicelevel on cycleways isexamined. The attitudes towards cycling during winter ingeneral, and in relation to winter maintenance of cycleways inparticular, is studied through questionnaire surveys. Bicyclemeasurements are related to weather data from Road WeatherInformation System, in order to know the influence on cycleflow during winter from different weather factors. Fieldstudies are performed testing unconventional winter maintenancemethods, in order to see if a higher service level could beachieved on cycleways and if that would lead to an increase inwinter cycling frequency. The field studies are evaluatedthrough road condition observations, measurements of friction,bicycle counts, a questionnaire survey and interviews. A visualmethod to assess winter road conditions on cycleways isdeveloped, in order to compare the service levels achievedusing different winter maintenance methods. There is a clear difference in mode choice between seasons.With improved winter maintenance service level it could bepossible to increase the number of bicycle trips to work duringwinter with, at the most, 18 %, and decrease the number of cartrips with 6 %. However, it could not be concluded with bicyclemeasurements, that an enhanced service level in fact, generateda higher winter cycling frequency. To increase cycling during winter, snow clearance is themost important maintenance measure. Skid control is not assignificant for the choice of mode but is important to attendto for safety reasons. Winter road condition propertiesimportant both with regard to safety and accessibility ofcyclists, are icy tracks formed when wet snow freezes, snowdepths greater than about 3 cm of loose snow or slush,unevenness in a snow covered surface, loose grit on a baresurface. Weather factors with negative influence on winter cyclingfrequency, are temperatures below +5 ° C,precipitationand strong winds. Only the occurrence of precipitation, not theamount of rain or snow, is significant for the cycle flow. Lowtemperatures are more important in reducing the cycle flow thanprecipitation. Temperatures around 0 ° C seem to be extracritical for cyclists, probably due to the larger influence ofprecipitation and slippery road conditions at thesetemperatures. An unconventional method using a power broom for snowclearance and brine or pre-wetted salt for de-icing, provides ahigher service level than winter maintenance methodstraditionally used, but it is about 2 to 3 times moreexpensive. The method has great potential in regions, such assouthern Sweden, with low snow accumulations but with major iceformation problems. To assess the maintenance service level,the visual assessment method developed and tested in thisproject is adequate for the purpose, however, furtherimprovements are desirable. As a complement to the visualassessment, a Portable Friction Tester can be used to measurethe surface friction on cycleways during wintertime. To survey and analysis of information, exploratory research techniques were employed, looking for an overview on the subject through interviews with people responsible for the area of human factors in the participating aircraft maintenance centers. A descriptive study was conducted through a questionnaire which was answered by twenty employees with different occupations. The main objective was to analyze the practices covered by each participating organization in relation to eight aspects relevant to the prevention of human errors in aviation maintenance: 1) Error Management, 2) Training in Human Factors, 3) Fatigue Management, 4) Pro-activity of the Organization in Support Human Factors, 5) Motivation for the Program of Human Factors and Safety, 6) Metrics for Human Factors 7) Support of State Regulatory Aviation and 8) Policies of the Organization. To allow a comparative analysis, the standard questionnaire used was similar to that employed by the board of American aviation FAA - Federal Aviation Administration in an applied research involving aircraft maintenance centers in several countries. The results showed that the national service centers have greater disabilities when related to aspects of error management, fatigue management and support of aviation regulators. The better results were found in the aspects of human factors training. It is expected a contribution, by making suggestions and recommendations, for the safety of aircraft maintenance activities in order to prevent incidents and accidents caused by human error. / O presente trabalho aborda a estruturação e sistemática dos procedimentos praticados por centros brasileiros de manutenção aeronáutica em relação aos fatores humanos. Para o levantamento e análise das informações, foram empregadas técnicas de pesquisa exploratória, procurando obter uma visão geral e aproximada sobre o assunto através de entrevistas com as pessoas responsáveis pela área de fatores humanos dos centros de manutenção aeronáutica participantes. A pesquisa descritiva foi conduzida através da aplicação de questionário nas mesmas empresas, a qual foi respondida por vinte funcionários com diferentes ocupações. O objetivo foi analisar as principais práticas abordadas por cada organização em relação a oito aspectos importantes para a prevenção de falhas humanas na manutenção aeronáutica: 1) Gerenciamento de Erros; 2) Treinamentos em Fatores Humanos; 3) Gerenciamento de Fadiga; 4) Pró-atividade da Organização em Suportar Fatores Humanos; 5) Motivação para o Programa de Fatores Humanos e Segurança; 6) Métricas para Fatores Humanos 7) Suporte dos Órgãos Regulamentadores de Aviação e 8) Políticas da Organização. Para possibilitar uma análise comparativa, o modelo de questionário utilizado foi similar ao empregado pelo órgão de aviação americano FAA Federal Aviation Administration em pesquisa aplicada em centros de manutenção aeronáutica de diversos países. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que os centros de serviços nacionais possuem deficiências quando relacionados aos aspectos de gerenciamento de erros, gerenciamento de fadiga e ao apoio dos órgãos regulamentadores de aviação. Os resultados mais satisfatórios foram encontrados nos aspectos alistados ao treinamento em fatores humanos. Espera-se contribuir, através do estudo, com a segurança das atividades de manutenção aeronáutica, visando à prevenção de incidentes e acidentes causados por falha humana através de sugestões e recomendações advindas do diagnóstico levantado durante a realização deste trabalho.

Civila företag i Försvarsmaktens tjänst : Det civila näringslivets möjligheter till att stödja med teknisktjänst under ensäkerhetspolitisk kris.

Syftet med vår uppsats har varit att undersöka vilka möjligheter det civila näringslivet har att stödja Försvarsmakten med reparations- och underhållstjänst av försvarsmaktsgemensam materiel under en säkerhetspolitisk kris. Utvecklingen av vårt Totalförsvars har återigen blivit en aktuell fråga, kopplat till det säkerhetspolitiska läget i Europa idag. Det svenska Totalförsvaret syftar till att det civila försvaret tillsammans med Försvarsmakten gemensamt ska stärka samhällets motståndskraft. Ett starkt och robust civilt försvar är en förutsättning för att samhället ska kunna stödja Försvarsmakten under kriser och krig. Metoden som har varit vår ledstång under studien bygger på en induktiv ansats med ett explorativt förhållningssätt. Själva datainsamlingen och bearbetningen av den har varit kvalitativ, där datainsamlingen har genomförts genom semistrukturerade intervjuer av respondenter från både näringslivet och Försvarsmakten. De insamlade data i form av intervjuunderlag har analyserats, kodats och grupperats i teman enligt metoden tematisk analys. Resultatet från studien visar på att Sverige inte längre har den förmåga till krisberedskap som vi hade i slutet av 1990-talet och där regeringen slutligen upphävde förordningen kring motorreparationstjänsten. Vårt insamlade underlag visar dock på att såväl statliga offentliga utredningar, som myndigheter och det civila näringslivet ser ett behov och möjlighet till att kunna återskapa någon form av samverkan mellan civila företag och Försvarsmakten för att öka tillgängligheten på försvarsmaktsgemensam materiel. Studien har kommit fram till att Sverige har förutsättningar för att kunna bygga upp en krisberedskap kring reparations- och underhållstjänst i likhet med den vi hade före juni 2007. I denna nya krisberedskap har civila företag en uppgift i att stödja Försvarsmakten med reparations- och underhållstjänst av försvarsmaktsgemensam materiel vid kriser, väpnat angrepp och krig. / The purpose of this thesis has been to investigate what opportunities the commercial industry has to support the Armed Forces with repair and maintenance services of armed forces common equipment during a security policy crisis. The development of our Total Defence has once again become a topical issue, linked to the security policy situation in Europe today. The Swedish Total Defence aims to ensure that civil defence, together with the Swedish Armed Forces, jointly strengthens the overall resilience of society. A strong and robust civil defence is a prerequisite for society to be able to support the Armed Forces during crises and war. The method that has been our guidance during the study is based on an inductive approach with an exploratory approach. The data collection and its processing has been qualitative, where the data collection has been carried out through semi-structured interviews of respondents from both the commercial industry and the Swedish Armed Forces. The collected data in the form of interview data has been analysed, coded and grouped into themes according to the method of thematic analysis. The results of the study show that Sweden no longer has the capacity for crisis preparedness that we had in the late 1990s and where the government in the end repealed the regulation on the Total Defence repair and maintenance service. However, our collected data shows that both government public inquiries, as well as authorities and the commercial industry, once again see a need and opportunity to recreate some form of collaboration between civilian companies and the Armed Forces in order to increase the availability of joint armed forces equipment. The study has concluded that Sweden has the prerequisites to be able to establish a repair and maintenance service similar to the one we had before June 2007. Where civilian companies have a role in supporting the Armed Forces with the repair and maintenance service of armed forces common equipment in the event of crises, armed attack or war.

Энергоремонтный бизнес занимает важное место в энергетическом секторе России. Без его успешного функционирования энергокомпании не смогут эффективно осуществлять свою операционную деятельность. Тем не менее большинство энергоремонтных компаний не могут подстроиться под быстроменяющиеся условия внешней среды: актуальным трендом данного бизнеса является активное внедрение системы риск-менеджмента на предприятиях. Цель работы – совершенствование риск-ориентированного подхода к управлению энергоремонтами. Научная новизна заключается в разработке рекомендаций по управлению рисками на энергоремонтных предприятиях. Они направлены на снижение потерь от воздействий факторов внешней среды и повышение эффективности деятельности бизнеса. Практическая значимость состоит во внедрении нового для сектора инструмента стресс-тестирования в процессе управления рисками. Это позволит повысить эффективность операционной деятельности энергоремонтных предприятий: сценарно выявить чрезвычайные ситуации, которые приведут к критическим последствиям для компаний; оценить способность организации противостоять таким рискам; составить план мероприятий по их нейтрализации. / Energy repair business occupies an important place in the Russian energy sector. Without its successful operation, energy companies will not be able to effectively carry out their operations. However, the majority of the energy repair companies cannot adapt to the rapidly changing conditions of the external environment: the current trend of this business is the active implementation of the risk management system at enterprises. The aim is to improve the risk- oriented approach to energy repair management. The scientific novelty is to develop recommendations for risk management at energy repair enterprises. They are aimed at reducing losses from external factors and improving the efficiency of business. The practical significance is to introduce a new sector tool for the stress testing in the process of risk management. This will improve the efficiency of the operating activities of energy repair enterprises: scenario to identify emergencies that will lead to critical consequences for companies; assess the ability of the organization to withstand such risks; make a plan of measures to neutralize them.
