The purpose of my master's thesis is to make a proposal for optimalization of desktop infrastructure using virtualization. The master's thesis is divided into three main parts. First one is engaged in theoretical ground about virtualization. Second part is dedicated to analysis of current state of desktop infrastructure in company and the third contains proposal to modernization of existing infrastructure including project management

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the existing information system in the company and subsequent proposals that lead to the improvement of the current state of the system. At the same time, the associated risks are eliminated. These proposals will be implemented internally by the company and thanks to this, the current state of the information system in the company will be innovated and work efficiency will increase.

The diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a transparent resource management system at the portfolio level. Its primary task is to present and implement this system, but also to describe the situations that occurred during its implementation at Garrett Motion. In order to better understand the issue, the theoretical foundations of project management and resource management are presented at the beginning of the thesis. These serve as the basis for the following analysis of the company's environment, design and subsequent implementation of the system.

Tato diplomová práce analyzuje současnou situaci ve firmě v oblasti projektového řízení při výstavbě solární elektrárny. A pokusí se na základě norem a metodik projektového řízení navrhnout konkrétní kroky, které povedou ve firmě ke zlepšení řízení projektů. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí - teoretické a praktické. První část popisuje společnost ZTC Holding SE a zabývá se teoretickými základy řízení projektů, je zde definován management a jeho funkce, řízení projektu, popis projektu, popis činnosti projektového manažera a jeho týmu. V této části je také teorie časové analýzy projektu, včetně metody Critical Path Method (CPM) a Ganttova diagramu. Druhá část se zaměřuje na analýzu vnějšího prostředí pomocí analýzy PESTLE, analýzy SWOT a analýzy vnitřního prostředí 7S. Tato část také pojednává o přesném vymezení projektu, jeho cílů, které jsou definovány metodou SMART. Tato část končí definováním konkrétních rizik, která se mohou vyskytnout během životního cyklu projektu. Závěr diplomové práce je zaměřen na celkové hodnocení navrhovaných postupů, které by měly zlepšit výkonnost ZTC Holding, SE.

The master thesis deals with improving of project management in student organization BEST Brno operating at Brno University of Technology, demonstrated on the example of engineering competition. The paper summarizes theoretical knowledge based on IPMA standards with specification for management in a student’s organization as well as it shows their usage in practice.

Master's thesis focuses on matters of project directing. It presents and compares two most used project management methods. Then it analyses current project in selected company and based on output from first part an optimizing proposal is created. In the end practical added value and economical benefits of proposal are presented.

This Diploma thesis describes the design & development of a VBA application in Microsoft Excel. The goal of this thesis is to design & create a corporate VBA application for IBM that will help with the tracking of data from financial documents from suppliers. The application will generate summaries and insights, which will enable filtering, and will have the option to prepare reports for project managers and leadership.

The master thesis deals with the application of the methodology of project management in a business case in the company Meopta - optika, s.r.o. following the product life cycle. Title: Development of the project "Volleyball imagined differently" Objectives: The main goal of the diploma thesis is to design a project plan which could that could be immediately applied and implemented. The partial goal of the diploma thesis is to create a background for the project plan, or rather put together a comprehensive concept of a recruitment type project including its name and basic parameters, logo, benefits, solutions and financing, which implementation could lead up to increase of the membership base of mini- volleyball in the Czech Republic,. Methods: Methodologically, the diploma work is based on qualitative research of data in the form of qualitative in-depth questioning, specifically semi-structured interviews with open questions, conducted on five respondents. The aim of the interviews was to find out how the project "Come play hockey" was build and how works, including the recruitment event "Week of hockey", and for another to find out the possibilities of accepting a recruitment type of project in a volleyball environment in the Czech Republic.
