L'objet de cette thèse est d'établir des théorèmes limites locaux pour des marches aléatoires réfléchies sur N. La théorie des fluctuations des marches aléatoires et la factorisation de Wiener-Hopf y jouent un rôle important. On développera dans la première partie une approche classique que l'on appliquera à l'étude des marches aléatoires sur R+ avec réflexions non élastiques en 0. Dans la deuxième partie, on explicitera une méthode différente qui fait intervenir des outils algébriques, d'analyse complexe et des techniques de factorisation utilisant de manière essentielle les fonctions génératrices. Cette approche a été développée il y a une cinquantaine d'année pour l'étude de marches de Markov, elle sera présentée dans cette partie dans le cas des marches aléatoires à pas i.i.d. où un certain nombre de simplifications apparaissent et sera ensuite utilisée pour étudier les marches aléatoires sur N avec réflexions élastiques ou non élastiques en zéro. Finalement, dans la dernière partie, nous mettons en place les outils nécessaires pour établir une factorisation de Wiener-Hopf dans un cadre markovien afin d'étudier les fluctuations des marches de Markov sur Z ; nous reprenons des travaux anciens dont les démonstrations méritaient d'être détaillées, l'objectif à moyen terme étant d'appliquer les méthodes algébriques décrites ci-dessus pour l'étude de marches de Markov réfléchies sur N.

This study examines the characteristics and setting of the six hillforts of the Clwydian Range in north east Wales and considers other hills and hillforts within the surrounding area. It provides an assessment of the hillforts of much of north Wales and the borderlands as a group, to define connections or regional variations, in order to aid understanding of their function. Sites have been investigated through the use of Geographical Information Systems and viewshed analysis to consider the extent of view, the features visible and intervisibility. The use of a control sample of non-hillfort sites considers why some hills were chosen to be hillforts but others not. Interrogation of the data to identify what the monument can see, not just how much, is fundamental in the interpretation of site selection and position. Architectural features and dating evidence have been documented and examined. Former radiocarbon dating has been scrutinised and recalibrated to ensure consistency. A theme of stone, or the illusion of, is dominant across the study area and, despite previous reports, not limited to Gwynedd and a small number of outliers. Entrances and their evolution are distinctive to north east Wales and the borders, with possible links to northern England. The hillforts of the Clwydian Range are distinctive with regards to their proximity and longevity, with multi-phase, multi-period use. In contrast to 'Central Place Theory', there is not an obvious 'main' hillfort dominating or suppressing the others. Instead, awareness of each other may have complimented their situation and therefore the area flourished. Changes in the hillforts' characteristics are essential in understanding the evolution of their function throughout the Iron Age; from initial community links and cultivation, to control and finally to conservation, which is a tradition which has continued to this day.

Nous avons étudié les algorithmes quantiques dans le but de calculer le permanent d'une matrice avec une machine quantique. Après avoir construit quelques algorithmes, nous nous sommes interessés aux équivalents quantiques des marches aléatoires. Ces marches peuvent être à la base de nouveaux algorithmes quantiques. Nous avons commencé par généraliser le modèle existant et classifier les marches sur des graphes de Cayley de groupes simples. Nous avons étudié des marches sur l'hypercube et le réseau simple à une et deux directions. Pour ces graphes nous avons calculé analytiquement la fonction d'onde et exploré numériquement le temps d'arrivée et la variance. Nous avons de plus élargi deux théorèmes existants concernant l'existence des marches scalaires et la limite faible. Ces résultats nous permettent d'envisager de compléter la classification des marches pour des graphes plus complexes dans le but d'obtenir des informations structurales sur les sous-algorithmes quantiques possibles.
