Com o aumento da complexidade dos negócios fica claro que mecanismos de governança corporativa são necessários para proteger os investidores e os sistemas financeiros dos países. Neste ambiente de complexidade crescente as organizações fazem uso da tecnologia da informação (TI) para dar suporte e auxiliar no controle de seus negócios. Desta forma, as empresas precisam ampliar a governança corporativa já exercida nas áreas de negócio para a área de TI por meio de um modelo de governança de TI. Este estudo se justifica diante da relevância da relação entre governança corporativa e governança de TI nas organizações, visto que se observa o surgimento da necessidade de recorrer a modelos e ferramentas que auxiliem no estabelecimento desta relação, garantindo o retorno sobre os investimentos realizados na área de TI e avaliando as vantagens que o uso da tecnologia pode trazer às organizações. Como principal objetivo, este estudo buscou identificar as relações entre os níveis de maturidade de governança corporativa e de governança de tecnologia da informação em organizações que atuam no Brasil. Para tanto, foram elaborados índices para mensurar o nível de maturidade da governança corporativa (IGOVCORP) e da governança de TI (IGOVTI). Adicionalmente, a base de dados foi segmentada em 3 grandes grupos para verificar as possíveis relações, obedecendo as seguintes condições: IGOVCORP = IGOVTI; IGOVCORP > IGOVTI e IGOVCORP < IGOVTI. Além disso, foi possível descrever as características organizacionais de cada um destes grupos. A pesquisa abrangeu 107 empresas que atuam no Brasil e o modelo da pesquisa foi construído a partir da uma revisão teórica sobre os temas governança corporativa e governança de TI. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionário de autopreenchimento e foram tratados e analisados estatisticamente. Como resultados esta pesquisa comprovou a correlação entre IGOVCORP e IGOVTI e verificou que mais de metade das empresas estudadas apresentou nível de maturidade da governança de TI maior do que o nível de maturidade de governança corporativa, contrariando grande parte dos estudos identificados durante a elaboração do arcabouço teórico desta tese e fornecendo indícios de que a governança de TI não se apresenta na prática como um reflexo ou subconjunto da governança corporativa. / With the increase on business complexity it\'s clear that mechanisms of corporate governance (CG) are needed to protect investors and the financial systems of the countries. In this environment of increasing complexity, organizations make use of information technology (IT) to provide support and assist in the leverage and in the control of their business. Therefore companies need to extend corporate governance already exercised in the business areas to the IT area through a model of IT governance. This study was justified by the importance of understanding the relation between corporate governance and IT governance on the organizations, considering that it\'s observed the emergence of the need for models and tools to assist in the establishment of this relationship, ensuring return on investments in the IT area and evaluating the advantages that the use of technology can bring to organizations. As main objective, this study tried to identify the relationship between corporate governance and governance of information technology maturity in organizations that operate in Brazil. For that indices were designed to measure the maturity level of corporate governance (IGOVCORP) and IT Governance (IGOVTI) and to check their possible relationships, the database was segmented into 3 main groups according to the following conditions: IGOVCORP = IGOVTI; IGOVCORP> IGOVTI and IGOVCORP <IGOVTI. Moreover, it was possible to describe the organizational features of each of these groups. The survey covered 160 companies that operate in Brazil and the research model was built from a theoretical review on the themes of corporate governance and IT governance, including the study of models that seek to assess the maturity of these. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaire and were treated and analyzed statistically. As results this research proved the moderate correlation between IGOVCORP and IGOVTI and verified that more than half of the companies studied showed better maturity level of IT governance than corporate governance, contradicting most studies identified during the preparation of this thesis providing evidences that IT governance is not presented on practice as a reflection or subset of corporate governance.

This proposal considers the dark web as an important source of cyber threats causing a latent risk that organizations do not consider in their cybersecurity strategies. The proposed model aims to increase the maturity level of the process through a set of proposed controls according to the information found on the dark web. The model consists of three phases: (1) Identification of information assets using cyber threat intelligence tools. (2) Diagnosis of the exposure of information assets. (3) Proposal of controls according to the proposed categories and criteria. The validation of the proposal was carried out in an insurance institution in Lima, Peru, with data obtained by the institution. The measurement was made with artifacts that allowed to obtain an initial value of the current panorama of the company. Preliminary results showed 196 emails and passwords exposed on the dark web of which one corresponded to the technology manager of the company under evaluation. With this identification, it was diagnosed that the institution was at a “Normal” maturity level, and from the implementation of the proposed controls, the “Advanced” level was reached. / Revisión por pares

<p>The purpose of this thesis have been to evaluate to what extend the ongoing development of Nato Network Enabling Capabilities Maturity levels, ( NNEC ML) have incorporated the human factor, or if the development is focusing to much on the technological aspects. As a background I have described the NNEC Maturity levels and to central elements; Defence lines of development and NNEC Value chain. In my thesis I point out different areas where the human factor is not taken enough into consideration, and I argue for a shift in focus from technology to the human factor. My conclusion is that it is necessary to shift focus from technology to the human factor in the following development if we shall succeed in bringing NATO and the different nations to the highest maturity level, Coherent. There is no doubt that technology is important, but it seems like the word networked is interpreted to be only a matter of technology. Concerning aspects like cultural understanding and the western linear way of thinking, it is necessary to broaden the meaning of the word networked to include the human factor in a greater sense. NNEC ML 5, Coherent means a maturity level where it is unnatural to operate in any other way than networked. A prerequisite to achieve this maturity level is that the people in the network feel familiar with the system they are operating, and trust their coalition partners. If we shall succeed in bringing the NATO coalition and the different nations to the highest maturity level it is essential that the human factor is prioritized in the following development. For the time being, the human factor is not emphasized enough.</p>

Det här arbetet fokuserar på att kartlägga SSBI-mognadsnivåer för att underlätta för företag att införa SSBI i sina organisationer med ett mer lyckat resultat. Arbetets metodansats är kvalitativ och den vetenskapliga metoden är en fallstudie som består av intervjuer på ett samarbetsföretag. Utmaningar relaterade till självständiga användare ligger till grund för intervjuerna. Olika områden inom utmaningarna har sedan identifierats med samarbetsföretaget genom intervjuerna. De olika områdena är antingen arbetssätt som samarbetsföretaget har börjat arbeta på eller ser behov av att börja arbeta på. En avstämmande intervju genomfördes sedan med en extra kunnig person inom BI på samarbetsföretaget för att fastställa samarbetsföretagets mognadsnivå inom de olika identifierade områdena. Resultatet blev tre olika mognadsnivåer av SSBI som är baserade på samarbetsföretagets mognadsnivå. De tre mognadsnivåerna består i sin tur av 24 stycken olika områden inom utmaningarna relaterade till självständiga användare inom SSBI.

Authors: Tim Kari and Wesley Kleinreesink Background & Problem discussion: Industries in Europe are facing economic challenges related to global societal and technological developments. The adoption of industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT and cloud computing within manufacturing can be used as a solution to these challenges. SMEs form the backbone of the Swedish economy, making up a large amount of the employment and added value within the country, making them important in this context. Little is known about the maturity levels of IoT and cloud computing and the challenges encountered during adoption of of these technologies by Swedish SMEs. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate maturity levels of IoT and cloud computing adoptions and the associated adoption challenges by looking at Swedish SMEs in the manufacturing industry that are adopting or are interested in adopting IoT and cloud computing technologies within their manufacturing. By addressing the maturity levels and adoption challenges found among the cases and providing more insight into the context in which these are occurring. These insights can then be used for the purposes of addressing maturity levels as practitioner and contributing to current literature regarding maturity levels and adoption challenges found. Method: Following an exploratory research strategy, qualitative data has been gathered both in the form of a literature review as well as a multiple case study through semi-structured interviews. The data has then been analyzed by conducting a conceptual analysis, a cross-case synthesis and pattern matching Findings & Conclusion: The findings indicate that the levels of maturity vary highly between categories and cases, with only a few examples of reaching higher (integrated) levels of maturity. Adoption challenges found were mainly centered around organizational and human challenges as opposed to technical ones, indicating that further focus needs to be put on organizational change management. Furthermore, an apparent lack of knowledge among the case companies may explain both the narrow and simple implementations of IoT and cloud computing as well as the lack of drivers for further adoption. The implications of this means that managers need a larger focus on change management and more comprehensive implementation plans. There is also the need to consider the need for digitalization and to do it in an efficient and useful manner. Further research is needed on these topics, with possible avenues being a focus on smaller companies, a study with a larger sample size or a focus on industries with a higher volume of production as the ones presented in this study were all relatively low-volume.

Purpose of the thesis This study aims to propose an AI maturity model in order to be able to evaluate to whatextent large-scale manufacturing companies utilize AI in their inbound logistical operationsand also to reveal the challenges related to the implementation of AI. Methodology This study employs a qualitative research method with the use of a survey conducted on 10companies within 5 industries. Additionally, semi-structured interviews were employed attwo out of these 10 companies. Theoretical framework The theoretical framework provides a deeper theoretical understanding of inbound logisticsoperations, AI implementations and their suggested operationalization in inbound logisticsoperations at large-scale manufacturers. Further, it also provides theory of the challengesassociated with implementing AI in inbound logistics operations. Empirical data The empirical section illustrates the data that were collected through survey and interviewstudy. First, data is presented based on the respondents' various industries that are grouped.Within each grouped industry, data is structured according to the various RQ’s and proposedframeworks, meaning that data will be related to the different levels of AI implementation,maturity levels as well as challenges. Analysis and discussion In this section, the industries are analysed and discussed with the help of the theoreticalframework and collected empirical data. This was first established with an individual analysisof industries where one research question is covered at a time. After this is done, across-analysis is carried out on the involved industries in relation to the research questions. Conclusion This chapter gives a concluding discussion and presents theoretical and practicalcontributions. The main results of the three research questions are highlighted. Finally, further research opportunities and limitations are discussed.

O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar a relação dos níveis de maturidade em gestão ambiental com a intensidade da adoção de práticas de Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM), por meio de um framework integrador desses dois conceitos e de evidências oriundas de múltiplos casos. Os fatores que motivaram a concepção de tal objetivo são: a inexistência, até o momento, de um framework integrador entre níveis de maturidade em gestão ambiental e práticas de GSCM; a ausência de estudos similares da relação maturidade da gestão ambiental-GSCM com empresas localizadas em países em desenvolvimento, como o Brasil; e, por fim, analisar a aderência desse framework integrador a empresas pertencentes a setores que tenham alto impacto ambiental antrópico. Para o alcance do objetivo, foi realizada uma sistematização junto à literatura que versa sobre maturidade de gestão ambiental, tipologia das práticas de GSCM, obtendo-se um conjunto mais amplo de práticas de GSCM, e um framework integrador original, aqui chamado de \"Níveis de maturidade em GSCM\". Para verificar sua aderência a situações práticas, foram analisados cinco casos inseridos em cadeias de suprimentos com alto impacto ambiental, sendo que duas empresas são pertencentes a cadeias de suprimentos de pilhas e baterias, duas empresas pertencentes a cadeia de defensivos agrícolas e uma empresa pertencente à cadeia automotiva. Verificou-se que das cinco empresas analisadas: (a) uma empresa adotava poucas práticas de GSCM motivada pelo cumprimento da legislação ambiental restritiva; (b) uma empresa adotava um número médio de práticas de GSCM, principalmente as ligadas ao retorno de investimentos, motivada pela redução de custos; (c) e três empresas adotavam um número elevado de práticas de GSCM, tendo em comum a adoção de práticas de GSCM dos tipos gestão ambiental interna, redução de resíduos e minimização de riscos e comunicacionais, motivadas pela obtenção de vantagens competitivas. Verificou-se, simultaneamente, a aderência do framework integrador proposto à luz dos casos anteriormente citados, tendo se mostrado sensível para avaliar flutuações entre os níveis de maturidade de gestão ambiental e a adoção das práticas de GSCM, cumprindo sua função original e obtendo-se a seguinte classificação de níveis de maturidade em GSCM: (a) o primeiro, nível reativo em GSCM com baixa adoção de práticas de GSCM motivadas por restrições legais; (b) o segundo, nível preventivo em GSCM, com média adoção de práticas de GSCM, principalmente relacionadas a diminuição de custos; (c) e o terceiro, nível proativo em GSCM, onde há a busca por obtenção de vantagens competitivas. Revelou-se, adicionalmente, que tende a existir um padrão na adoção de práticas de GSCM por parte das empresas, vinculado a cada nível de maturidade em GSCM. Acredita-se que esse padrão evolutivo de GSCM pode ser usado por dirigentes organizacionais ou por gestores públicos para fomentar a adoção de práticas de GSCM. Este trabalho, até onde é de conhecimento do autor e até onde revelam buscas sistemáticas realizadas junto aos portais Web of Science e Scopus, é a primeira pesquisa a relacionar níveis de maturidade de gestão ambiental a práticas de GSCM, aplicada a cinco casos com alto impacto ambiental do Brasil. / The objective of this work is to identify the relationship between maturity levels of environmental management with the intensity of adoption of practices of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM), through the proposal of an integrative framework of these two concepts and a multiple case study. The factors that motivated the design of this goal are: the absence so far of an integrative framework between maturity levels in environmental management and GSCM practices; the scarcity of similar studies of the relationship of environmental maturity GSCM with companies located in developing countries, such as Brazil; and, finally, analyze the adherence of this integrative framework to companies belonging to sectors that have high environmental impact. To achieve the goal, a deep literature review was performed with the literature dealing with environmental management maturity, GSCM practices, obtaining a broader set of GSCM practices, and a unique integrative framework, here called \"Levels of maturity on GSCM\". To verify its adherence to the real world, five cases were analyzed in supply chains with high environmental impact. It was found that: (a) a company few had adopted GSCM practices motivated by compliance with strict environmental legislation; (b) a company had adopted an average number of GSCM practices, especially those relating to investment returns, driven by cost saving; (c) and three companies had adopted a large number of GSCM practices, having in common the adoption of GSCM practices types of internal environmental management, waste reduction and risk minimization and communication, motivated by obtaining competitive advantages. It was found a sensitive framework with the following classification levels of maturity on GSCM: (a) the first, reactive level GSCM with low adoption of GSCM practices motivated by legal restrictions; (b) the second level (preventive) GSCM, mean adopting GSCM practices, primarily related to saving costs; (c) and the third, (proactive) level in GSCM, where there is the search for competitive advantages. Additionally it was found a kind of pattern in the adoption of GSCM practices by firms, linked to each level of maturity in GSCM. It is believed that this evolutionary pattern of GSCM can be used by organizational leaders or public officials to foster the adoption of GSCM practices. This work, so far as is known to the author and to reveal where systematic searches conducted with the Web of Science and Scopus data bases, is the first study to relate maturity levels of environmental management practices of GSCM, applied to five cases with high impact environmental Brazil.

Verificou-se, simultaneamente, a aderência do framework integrador proposto à luz dos casos anteriormente citados, tendo se mostrado sensível para avaliar flutuações entre os níveis de maturidade de gestão ambiental e a adoção das práticas de GSCM, cumprindo sua função original e obtendo-se a seguinte classificação de níveis de maturidade em GSCM: (a) o primeiro, nível reativo em GSCM com baixa adoção de práticas de GSCM motivadas por restrições legais; (b) o segundo, nível preventivo em GSCM, com média adoção de práticas de GSCM, principalmente relacionadas a diminuição de custos; (c) e o terceiro, nível proativo em GSCM, onde há a busca por obtenção de vantagens competitivas. Revelou-se, adicionalmente, que tende a existir um padrão na adoção de práticas de GSCM por parte das empresas, vinculado a cada nível de maturidade em GSCM. Acredita-se que esse padrão evolutivo de GSCM pode ser usado por dirigentes organizacionais ou por gestores públicos para fomentar a adoção de práticas de GSCM. Este trabalho, até onde é de conhecimento do autor e até onde revelam buscas sistemáticas realizadas junto aos portais Web of Science e Scopus, é a primeira pesquisa a relacionar níveis de maturidade de gestão ambiental a práticas de GSCM, aplicada a cinco casos com alto impacto ambiental do Brasil. / The objective of this work is to identify the relationship between maturity levels of environmental management with the intensity of adoption of practices of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM), through the proposal of an integrative framework of these two concepts and a multiple case study. The factors that motivated the design of this goal are: the absence so far of an integrative framework between maturity levels in environmental management and GSCM practices; the scarcity of similar studies of the relationship of environmental maturity GSCM with companies located in developing countries, such as Brazil; and, finally, analyze the adherence of this integrative framework to companies belonging to sectors that have high environmental impact. To achieve the goal, a deep literature review was performed with the literature dealing with environmental management maturity, GSCM practices, obtaining a broader set of GSCM practices, and a unique integrative framework, here called \"Levels of maturity on GSCM\". To verify its adherence to the real world, five cases were analyzed in supply chains with high environmental impact. It was found that: (a) a company few had adopted GSCM practices motivated by compliance with strict environmental legislation; (b) a company had adopted an average number of GSCM practices, especially those relating to investment returns, driven by cost saving; (c) and three companies had adopted a large number of GSCM practices, having in common the adoption of GSCM practices types of internal environmental management, waste reduction and risk minimization and communication, motivated by obtaining competitive advantages. It was found a sensitive framework with the following classification levels of maturity on GSCM: (a) the first, reactive level GSCM with low adoption of GSCM practices motivated by legal restrictions; (b) the second level (preventive) GSCM, mean adopting GSCM practices, primarily related to saving costs; (c) and the third, (proactive) level in GSCM, where there is the search for competitive advantages. Additionally it was found a kind of pattern in the adoption of GSCM practices by firms, linked to each level of maturity in GSCM. It is believed that this evolutionary pattern of GSCM can be used by organizational leaders or public officials to foster the adoption of GSCM practices. This work, so far as is known to the author and to reveal where systematic searches conducted with the Web of Science and Scopus data bases, is the first study to relate maturity levels of environmental management practices of GSCM, applied to five cases with high impact environmental Brazil.
