Histórias de leitura : a constituição de sujeitos surdos como leitores / Reading stories: the construction of deaf citizens as reading

Lins, Heloísa Andreia de Matos, 1974- 23 February 2007 (has links)
Orientador: Sergio Antonio da Silva Leite / Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-08T07:00:10Z (GMT). This research searchs to delineate the social construction on the ways of appropriation of the reading for the deaf people - proper and particular - and of the practical ones of relative productions to the same one that they constitute/had constituted such citizens as readers. For in such a way, it looked for to trace the cartography of the movement of formation of four adult deaf people as reading (with little influence of the oralism and relative proficiency in the reading of the Portuguese, in the current days), configured in the notion of space and time constructed by the memory of the same ones, through the resources of Oral History. In synthesis, through these memories, it was looked to detach the different ways of interaction with the reading and the collective - formed for deaf citizens and listeners - in some periods of its lives, with intention to categorize the main mediators for such processes of appropriation. In this direction, the research disclosed that the images and the relation of the Language of Signals with the writing in Portuguese are basic so that the deaf reader can develop itself as such. The signals had fulfilled the function of speak for the listeners, in the constitution of the deaf reader. The function of the family as mediating of the reading was decisive also in told histories, for the offered models, the materials of presented reading and the relations that if established, of the affective point of view, as well as in the Associations of deaf people. The research also detaches that the identities of the deaf, immersed readers in a context mainly listener, even so restrained, is rebelled and affirmed in relation to exactly, front to the questions of social insertion, marked by ideology, that the word written and to the proficiency in the reading also they offer. Finally, the research points with respect to the fact of that some deaf people (that they possess a deaf identity, who recognize the language of signals as natural language), indicate that the orality exerts an important function in its educative process, differently of situated by oralism history / Doutorado / Educação, Conhecimento, Linguagem e Arte / Doutor em Educação

Memoáry Philippa de Commynes jako pramen k dějinám politického myšlení a diplomatické praxe / The Memoirs of Philippe de Commines as a Source of the History of Political Thinking and the Diplomatic Practice

Vybíralová, Sára January 2011 (has links)
The thesis deals with the memoirs of Philippe de Commynes and the possibilities of their utilization as a source on the history of mentalities. This significant politician and diplomat of Burgundian origin, although little known in our country, left the court of Charles the Bold to be in service of Louis XI of France. In his memoirs, written after the death of Louis XI., Commynes firstly celebrates this sovereign and secondly he attempts to intensify the didactic scope of the text through various literary resources (digression, exempla), and he tries to stress on some political and moral premises. Regarding the focusing on readers of monarchs and courtiers side, the Memoires approaches a different literary genre - mirrors for princes. Their advices are however targeted practically and often there rebinds some pragmatism even in their ethic tone. A progressive, modern flow in thinking in the work of Phillippe de Commynes is represented by his rejection of "useless" knight graces and values such as pride and glory, and enforcing of "wisdom" perceived entirely newly as a political skill combined with caution. The second part of the thesis attempts to map the testimony of the Memoirs about diplomatic experience of the time, in which symbolic communication and ritual played an important role on one...

Paměti, historickogeografický pramen a obraz regionu (na příkladu Pamětí F. J. Vaváka z přelomu 18. a 19. století). / Memoirs, historical-geographic source and the image of region (for example, the memoirs of FJ Vavák turn of the 18th and 19th centuries)

Svobodová, Zuzana January 2013 (has links)
This thesis is a contribution to the still not fully explored historical-geographical aspect of regional chronicles - Memories of F. J. Vavák, neighbour and mayor of Milčice. The main goal of the thesis was analysis of the image of the region which Vavák presented in his memoirs. As a reference source was used First Military Mapping - mapping and text supplement - as a historically appropriate source. The content of the first two chapters is Vavák's bibliography and introduction of the most important domestic and international contemporary events and affairs for easier understanding of the conditions and circumstances of the genesis of both main sources. Main chapter then presents the image of the region pictured both in Vavák's Memoirs and the First Military Mapping. As the memoirs is the very extensive source, it was necessary to choose "the overarching aspects," whereby is observed the image of the region. Based on the significant features of the memoirs was chosen following terms historical-geographical, social-topographical, economic, cultural, climatological and historical. Individual aspects were sequentially analyzed and documented by examples from Memories or the text part of the First Military Mapping. Comparing the mentioned sources was found, that those at first sight very different...

Vzpomínky a paměti obyvatel Plzně v pozdním 19. a v první polovině 20. století / Memoirs of the citizens of Pilsen in the late 19th and the first half of the 20th century

MARTINOVSKÁ, Soňa January 2019 (has links)
The aim of the dissertation is to present a set of memoirs preserved in Pilsen from the late 19th and the first half of the 20th century. Furthermore, it intends to incorporate these writings into a broader context within the research of personal sources. Therefore, the first chapter deals with the history of these sources as subjects of research interest and the possibilities of their use. In terms of methodology, the thesis wants to carry out a comprehensive analysis of a representative sample of these sources. At the same time, it assesses the internal and external features of the texts, but also addresses the life stories of individual authors and tries to reveal their possible motivations for the creation of these writings. Additionally, the dissertation seeks to compare the selected memoirs, especially in terms of their nature and content. It focuses on different methods of self-presentation of writers through these works and on the consolidation of their identities through recorded narratives. But it also deals with the ways of depicting the city of Pilsen and the changes in everyday life in its streets as well as with the reflection of major political events in the compared writings. Overall, the submitted thesis tries to contribute to a deeper understanding of the problematic and diverse era of modern history and to reveal the thought-world and behaviour of people at that time.

A hauteur d'homme ˸ usages de la fortune dans l'écriture de l'histoire (1560-1600) / At human size ˸ uses of fortune in history writing (1560-1600)

Viaud, Alicia 10 November 2018 (has links)
During the last decades of the XVIth century, a history flourishes « at human size », for its object and for the limits it gives itself. Uses of fortune contribute to the development of a writing which wants to be secular and shows interest for human realities, yet in which the divine will is strongly taken into consideration. The prologue defines fortune as a commonplace and as a polemical object in the context of a political and religious crisis. Then the study analyses a corpus of history books (Le Roy, La Popelinière, Belleforest…) and Memoirs (Marguerite de Valois, Henri de Mesmes, Monluc…) which are written or published between 1560 and 1600. It demonstrates how uses of the word fortune allow to think adversity (I), to understand action (II) and to take ownership of the past (III). This dissertation is interested in the elaboration of the narrative structure, in the construction of an argumentative strategy which gives value to a noble identity or a political and military experience, and in the way facts are given an edifying or a pratical significance. Fortune is not a driver of history as sum of events, but can be a tool to write history, to name and to think the relation of man to what is external to him (someone else’s action, circumstances) and out of range (divine action, royal action), but also to his own flaws and capabilities.
