<p>To understand the modern leadership you have to gain a lot of experience to attain the right competence through which you are able to know what kind of leadership is most suitable to use in the current situation. Leaders agree that every kind of leadership is more or less successful depending on the situation and different organizational factors, for example the co-workers and the environment. Every leader should have a strong willpower and driving force to bring motivation to the organization and to make it more efficient. Another quality that represents a modern leader is the ability to lead and divide the co-workers and the organizations different strengths. The organizational communication is an important factor of how you, as a leader, answer to your co-workers and also how you will be received. Self-confidence, competence and experience are the key words that will lead you to achieve self-insight. Those leaders are the ones who represent the successful, modern leadership.</p><p>There is a general difference in working with men and women. The jargon of the working place is depending on which gender among the co-workers that is in majority. The generalization of men as tough, straight and that they are driven by their achievements versus the generalization of women as emotional, gentle and driven by relations are in various ways true, depending on how high in the hierarchy of the working place you are placed. Now days the leadership is not about gender. Instead it is about the ability to express qualities like willing and daring. Taking chances and succeeding leads to legitimating.</p><p>To make your co-workers feel motivated, the organization needs to have a solid culture. It is the leader’s task to make the foundation of the organizational-culture, and thereby also the existing standards. The work environment, the jargon, the ideal of clothes etcetera is all controlled by the standards ability to influence the organization. In order to be a good leader you should behave as a role model for your co-workers. If you, as a leader, express an engagement for your work, stability, joy, have an enterprising attitude and also succeed in supplying that to people in your surrounding, you will gain a motivated winning team.</p><p>There are different ways to communicate and to share information. The modern leadership is doing this in a pedagogical and a balanced way. To get people to work in your direction and to sell in new ideas to co-workers you need to use strategies. In order to affect others leaders are using all of their collected resources and competence. Some of them are doing this very honestly and deliberately, at the same time as some leaders are completely unknowing about their behavior. In the female intuition there are some qualities that makes us use a pedagogical and balanced way of apply strategies and through that kind of manipulation reach the successful, modern leadership.</p>

Modernt ledarskap? : En utvärderingsstudie och fallstudie om hur ledarskap förstås på en svensk myndighet

Högskolan i Gävle, akademin för utbildning och ekonomi Den undersökta myndigheten uttrycker sig sträva mot att utveckla ett modernt ledarskap och genom detta strävar myndigheten mot att bli utsedd till Sveriges modernaste myndighet vilket är en utmärkelse som samtliga statliga myndigheter kan erhålla. I teorier om ledarskap uttrycks vanligtvis att ledarskapet är en viktig faktor för en väl fungerande organisation. Det transformella- och kommunikativa ledarskapet, samt Big Five-modellen valdes efter en genomförd litteratursökning av nyare forskning om ledarskap som exemplifieringar av det som beskrivs som ett modernt ledarskap. Detta jämfördes sedan i studien gentemot hur personal på myndigheten själva uttryckte sin syn på ett modernt ledarskap med hjälp av en insamlad enkät. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om myndighetens ledarskap är "modernt" i den meningen att den har likheter med de ledarskapsteorier som beskrivs som moderna i nyare ledarskapslitteratur. Metoden var huvudsakligen kvantitativ i form av en enkät med kvalitativa inslag där fritextfält kopplades till utvalda frågor. Enkäten skickades ut till 200 chefer med personalansvar. Svarsfrekvensen blev cirka 46 procent där respondenterna svarade på ett antal frågor kring rådande chefspolicy, samt vilka färdigheter och egenskaper de menar att ett modernt ledarskap innehåller. Urvalet av respondenter begränsades till en specifik svensk myndighet och de medarbetare som där är chefer med personalansvar. Resultatet av undersökningen antyder att rådande chefspolicy har visst stöd i modernare ledarskapsforskning (exemplifierat genom likheter och skillnader gentemot det tranformella- och kommunikativa ledarskapet, samt Big Five-modellen). Cheferna känner till den rådande policyn. Cheferna på myndigheten pekar på aspekter som att kunna kommunicera, ta beslut, skapa dialog och delaktighet, stötta och skapa entusiasm samt ge feedback som de viktigaste färdigheterna för det de kallar ett modernt ledarskap. De personliga egenskaperna som lyfts fram som de viktigaste är att vara stöttande/coachande, ha självinsikt och en positiv människosyn. Både färdigheterna och egenskaperna har tydliga kopplingar till de valda moderna ledarskapsteorierna som myndighetens personals åsikter jämfördes gentemot.

<p>Coaching har blivit mycket av ett slagord inom företagsvärlden och olika konsultfirmor. Men vad innebär det konkret för individer och organisationer? Denna studie kommer att behandla coaching utförd av en ledare. Därav kommer både ett öppet och modernt ledarskap som coaching kräver behandlas, samt huvudämnet coaching.</p><p>Bakgrunden till studien är främst att allt för många ledare idag fortfarande rekryteras med auktoritär ledarskapsstil som inte prioriterar utveckling av de anställda, samt att coaching som definition ibland misstolkas. Så syftet är att behandla dessa frågor och diskutera kring frågeställningarna: <em>Vad är coaching? Vilken betydelse har coaching?</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p>Metoden som tillämpas i denna uppsats är en kvalitativ studie med fyra representanter från Brynäs IF hockey A-lag, tränaren Niklas Czarnecki, assisterande tränare Tommy Jonsson, spelarna Ove Molin och Emil Sandin presenterar deras verklighet omkring ledarskap och coaching.</p> / <p> </p><p>Coaching has become much of a catchphrase in the business world and various consulting firms. But what does it mean specifically for individuals and organizations? This study deals with coaching conducted by a leader. Therefore the study will examine both an open and modern leadership as coaching require, and the main subject coaching.</p><p>The background to the study is based on that too many leaders today recruits authoritarian leadership style that does not see the potential of their employees and the definition of coaching is sometimes misinterpreted. So the aim is to address these issues and discuss the questions: <em>What is coaching?</em> And <em>What is the importance of coaching?</em></p><p>The method applied in this study is a qualitative method with four representatives from Brynäs IF hockey A-team, which trainer Niklas Czarnecki, assistant trainer Tommy Jonsson and players Ove Molin and Emil Sandin present the reality about leadership and coaching.</p><p> </p>
