Idag finns en stor nationell bostadsbrist där vissa upplåtelseformer är i större nöd än andra. Bostadsbristen tycks vara tydligare bland större städer och Uppsala är inget undantag. Samtidigt är den nationella ekonomin svag och investeringsviljan för både privata och offentliga företag är liten. Detta kräver ekonomiskt smarta metoder att få bostäder på plats snabbt och billigt. En typ bostadsbyggande som spekuleras vara både snabb producerad och ekonomiskt tillåtande är modulbaserade bostäder. För att bygga bostäder och samhällen för en befolkning krävs mer planering än så. Vid planering av samhällen idag vägs många intressen in och behandlas innan beslut tas. Hur står sig modulbaserade bostäder emot dessa processer? I arbetet presenteras både möjligheter och begränsningar med att implementera en större del modulbaserade bostäder. Detta genom att analysera detaljplaner och genom intervjuer med aktörer inom bostadsbranschen i Uppsala. Olika aktörer inom branschen har olika intressen med staden och intressekonflikter uppstår. Det ska vara ekonomisk fördelaktigt för företag att bygga bostäder och kommunen behöver ha sociala och ekologiska frågor i åtanke vid sin planering. Hade problematiken varit enkel hade det inte funnits något syfte med uppsatsen. Men att kartlägga lösningar och överväga intressen är som med all planering grundläggande för att hitta en lösning.

The thesis compiles my contributions to the tilting theory, mainly in the set- ting of a module category over a commutative ring. We give a classification of tilting classes over an arbitrary commutative ring in terms of data of geometrical flavor - certain filtrations of the Zariski spectrum. This extends and connects the results known previously for the noetherian case, and for Prüfer domains. Also, we show how the classes can be expressed using the local and Čech homology the- ory. For 1-tilting classes, we explicitly construct the associated tilting modules, generalizing constructions of Fuchs and Salce. Furthermore, over any commuta- tive ring we classify the silting classes and modules. Amongst other results, we exhibit new examples of cotilting classes, which are not dual to any tilting classes - a phenomenon specific to non-noetherian rings. 1

This final thesis deals with determination of moisture influence on convential strength pressure with use of the prototype diagnostic tool. This device can be used for in situ measurement of inbuilt wood properties in constructions. This new approach enables to determine strength and stiffness parameters of wood parallel to grain based on measurement of force required for pushing jaws inside the predrilled hole apart. The thesis aim is to determine the mechanical properties of wood by both experimental testing of novel device and with universal testing machine. The results of experiments are mutually compared, statically evaluated and also compared with known values. The experiments are carried out according to the standards for testing of the mechanical properties of raw wood

This thesis describes the design of the illumination LED module for contactless measurement of basic physiological parameters. Contactless methods is based on the fotopletysmografických methods. The acquisition parameters used video camera for monitoring body part of the patient. Designed lighting LED module is used to enhance the optical signal with respect to quantum efficiency of the camera used. The acquired video sequences are then programmatically processed, analyzed, and the result is an estimate of the measured parameter.

The goal of this thesis is to determine properties of manufactured particleboards with different percent content of recycled wood. The objective was to determine density values, thickness swelling, moisture content, internal bonding, bending properties and vertical density profile of particleboards. The research question was to report the effect of different percent content of recycled wood on final properties of particleboard. The own method was established and various particleboards produced. The properties of materials were tested according to EN standards and by descriptive statistics, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and linear regression evaluated. In summary in research it was observed that percent content of recycled wood has little impact on final properties of particleboard, although there were several factors which may have affected these results. These factors are described in this thesis.

The Ph.D. thesis deals with one of the most important characteristics of hardened concrete; i.e. the modulus of elasticity. The thesis aims to describe and evaluate the important factors that affect the final value of concrete modulus of elasticity, especially those that can be influenced during construction. Another aim is to find ways to determine the static modulus of elasticity of concrete by non-destructive means (primarily ultrasonic pulse method, resonance method and use of electronic rebound hammers), thus to determine the possibility of creating calibration curve for NDT determination of the modulus of elasticity.

This master’s thesis deals with the determination of dynamic modulus of elasticity non-destructive methods of brick body. The test samples were laboratory-made from two types of brick earth and further were used cotouts from the full brick types clinker. For measuring were used ultrasonic impulse and resonant-impact method.

Let E and F be Hilbert C*-modules over a C*-algebra A. New classes of (possibly unbounded) operators t: E->F are introduced and investigated - first of all graph regular operators. Instead of the density of the domain D(t) we only assume that t is essentially defined, that is, D(t) has an trivial ortogonal complement. Then t has a well-defined adjoint. We call an essentially defined operator t graph regular if its graph G(t) is orthogonally complemented and orthogonally closed if G(t) coincides with its biorthogonal complement. A theory of these operators and related concepts is developed: polar decomposition, functional calculus. Various characterizations of graph regular operators are given: (a, a_*, b)-transform and bounded transform. A number of examples of graph regular operators are presented (on commutative C*-algebras, a fraction algebra related to the Weyl algebra, Toeplitz algebra, C*-algebra of the Heisenberg group). A new characterization of operators affiliated to a C*-algebra in terms of resolvents is given as well as a Kato-Rellich theorem for affiliated operators. The association relation is introduced and studied as a counter part of graph regularity for concrete C*-algebras.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to make functional application for design of DAQ system for productive machine by using LabVIEW and platforms cRIO. The first part is focused on productive machine. After the thesis continues with specific examples. These examples have impact on machining accuracy and their measurements. The second part of diploma thesis is focused on making measurement program. LabVIEW FPGA Module, LabVIEW Real-Time Module are used in the program.
