The material used in thestudy are three narratives produced by the researchers Gentry and Sjoberg to analyze differentnews article perspectives when it comes to gender linked to violence within the Islamic State(IS). The method used is a critical discourse analysis based on Fairclough's three-dimensionalmodel. Which will help to see the discourses in the writing of the Swedish media.
