The diploma thesis Bon Repos and baroque monuments in surroundings of Lysá nad Labem deals with the area of Bon Repos and baroque monuments in surroundings of Lysá nad Labem that arose thanks to the benefactor Count Francis Anthony Spork. Unfortunately, most of the monuments no longer exist. The first part of this diploma thesis deals with the history of the town Lysá nad Labem and also with its monuments including the life of Count Spork. In the second part of the thesis we can find the detailed description of the ecclesiastical and the secular monuments in surroundings of Lysá nad Labem, which were built at the times during the Count Spork's life. The monuments' description was done according to the engravings and sources from the period of the first half of the 18th century. The third part of this thesis describes the area of Bon Repos which was built by Count Spork. In this part we can also find the history of the site and the description of its baroque form. Unfortunately, the site of Bon Repos was rebuilt by archbishop Prichovsky in the second half of the 18th century. 1 Juvenile justice - Comparison of swiss and czech law with focus on criminal procedure Abstract anglicky This thesis focuses on comparison of Czech and Swiss form of juvenile justice. The opening chapters briefly summarize the Czech law no. 218/2003 Sb., basic principles of juvenile criminal procedures, concept of his criminal liability and sets out sanctions - educational, protective and penal - which can be assigned to a juvenile person. Then a Swiss version of juvenile law is introduced (the "Jugendstrafgesetz") together with juvenile criminal procedures law ("Jugendstrafprozesordnung"). Also these chapters cotains introduction of basic principles of both laws, a detailed description of respective penalties ("Strafen") and protective measures ("Schutzmassnahmen") and their execution. The juvenile criminal procedure, its specifics and details, is described in Chapter 4, followed by the analysis of laws, comparisons of specific penalties and protective measures. This is supported by recent statistic of juvenile criminality, decisions of special juvenile courts and age limits for criminal liability throughout Europe. The diploma thesis “The assessment of the phytotoxicity of sludge from selected sewage treatment plants“ deals with the current situation of the sludge treatment and disposal and the assessment of phytotoxicity of sewage treatment sludge. The sewage treatment sludge comes into existence during the process of sewage treatment. Nowadays is sludge landfilling from the point of view of nature protection and according to the legislation on the last place in a way of handling. Additionally, the thesis pays attention to the legislation related to the sewage treatment sludge and also statistical data concerning the production and the way of handling of the sewage treatment sludge. The practical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the description of two sewage treatment plants, namely Třebíč and Náměšť nad Oslavou. Subsequently were made several laboratory experiments with the sewage treatment sludge samples from the mentioned sewage treatment plants. At the sewage treatment sludge samples were assessed the phytotoxicity level by the testing set Phytotoxkit. Specifically was determined an inhibitive/stimulative effect on the growth of the root. The testing plant was a white mustard (Sinapis alba L.).

This thesis describes the design, implementation and user testing of a user friendly spatial data query tool. The user interface was developed in cooperation with Clever Analytics. The company is developing a solution for spatial data visualization on an interactive map and data observation using various metrics. It is used by managers as support for their decisions. Designed tool allows simple creation of new indicators for visualizing metrics. It also allows editing and combining of already existing indicators. Users from management do not need to know technical background of entering metrics or creating indicators, therefore they are not dependent on consultants. It supports faster decision making and guides towards natural data exploration.

The diploma thesis is aimed to tourism and its development in case studies by the Ústí region and the town of Ústí nad Labem. In the theoretical frame, definitions utilized in case studies are defined. Devoted to the Ústí region, the case study analyzes conceptual documents, dealing with tourism and its development as well as its priorities and measures. The study then describes a new regional project, called "Gate into Bohemia" (and new destination agencies together with it). The chapter is finished with future plans of the Ústí region. Similarly, development documents are analyzed in Ústí nad Labem, emphasizing tourism and projects, realized by the municipality in terms of tourism or revitalizing the town (as well as possible future plans again). Another chapter deals with the structure of tourism concepts; its basis is represented by the author's own proposal, compared with selected concepts of the region and town.

This diploma thesis focuses on improving reading literacy in preschool children in cooperation between family and kindergarten. The theoretical part is devoted to the concept of a preschool child, taking into account his psychological development, the cooperation of the kindergarten with the family, family itself, reading literacy and methods of its development. Through action research, the practical part focuses on mapping parents' work with children at home using intervention activities to improve parents' understanding of book working methods and the use of reading strategies that help building a positive relationship with books and improve text comprehension, and then evaluate the impact of these activities on parents and their effort to stimulate reading in children. The proposed lessons devoted to the development of reading literacy were implemented with children in the presence of their parents and the aim was to show the possibilities of working with a book through specific activities that will help building interest in books and comprehension of the read text. Children and young people rank among the most endangered social groups. Not only do they go through an important stage of personality formation which could be influenced by many factors, but this phase of personal development influences, to a certain extent, their future lives and the possibility of a fully-fledged social integration. At this stage, children and young people develop stronger perceptual sensitivity of either positive or negative outer factors. These factors can have a stronger impact on children and young people living in an environment which the majority society perceives not as standard, but as a socially excluded, and hence unwanted, locality. The group of children and young people, especially the ones from socially excluded localities, are very often affected by the use of addictive substances. There is a big risk, that members of the group will become regular users of addicted substances which generate further negative effects. The thesis focuses on the activity of laymen - volunteers in the Chlumec church community in the period after November 1989 in the context of their contribution to fulfilling the mission of the church. The work is divided into four main chapters. The aim of the first chapter is to expound the role of the church in the present-day world and to describe its four functions. Dealing with the church community, the second chapter clarifies various aspects of how the church community may be perceived, and identifies its mission in the sphere of spreading the Gospel and work for those in need. To be found in the third chapter is a detailed description of the work of laymen in the church of Chlumec nad Cidlinou, whose service contributes to fulfilling both the parish functions as well as certain expectations of the neighbouring local community. The objective of the fourth chapter is to map out the hitherto unexplored activities of the Parish charity in Chlumec nad Cidlinou and its volunteer work, the curative stay of the Chernobyl children. During the particular period, these activities were carried out above all by the laymen - volunteers and represented a significant part of diaconia in the church community. The area is located in the southern part of the castle complex in Zdar, land in an urban zone. The original function of the castle in Zdar was a Cistercian monastery, founded 02.05.1252, which is credited with the expansion of the region. The castle is close to important UNESCO World Heritage Site - Pilgrimage church of the John of Nepomuk on the Green hill, which is a prerequisite for tourism in the region. The architectural design is based on the idea of recovery of unused buildings for the benefit of tourism on the one hand and on the other hand, it seeks to enrich local communities and the region. Suggest a feature builds on the newly created Museum of the new generation, which represents the potential of tourism. The draft proposal seeks to complete the missing and necessary functions in the area while trying to build on the tradition and the original object function.
