Neparametrické testy v statistickém software / Nonparametric tests in statistical software

Skolil, Lukáš January 2007 (has links)

Episode 1: Get to Know the NCSS

Meier, Lori T. 01 July 2021 (has links)
In this episode, we explore the central professional organization for the social studies, the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). We review their history and beginning, learn about definitions and purposes for social studies, take a look at key NCSS curriculum standards and frameworks, and explore related NCSS publications and resources for teachers and classrooms. / https://dc.etsu.edu/social-studies-education-oer/1000/thumbnail.jpg

Episode 2: Exploring the 10 Themes

Meier, Lori T. 01 July 2021 (has links)
In this episode, we explore the national curriculum standards and organizing strands of the NCSS “10 Themes” and review the various, related disciplinary content areas that contribute broadly to the whole social studies curriculum in the K-12 classroom. / https://dc.etsu.edu/social-studies-education-oer/1001/thumbnail.jpg

台灣季節性消費品銷售預測之研究 / The investigation of forecasting models for the sales of seasonal consumer products in Taiwan

潘家鋒, Pan, Jason Unknown Date (has links)
The trend seasonal demand pattern is encountered when both trend and seasonal influences are interactive. The problem of this research is to project the seasonal market sales using ice cream and fresh milk in Taiwan as examples. In order to improve the accuracy of forecast, two different methods are validated and the best forecasting method is selected based on the minimum Mean Square Error. In this study, we present two forecasting models used for evaluation to predict seasonal market sales of ice cream, fresh milk, and air conditioner in Taiwan. It includes Winters multiplicative seasonal trend model and the Decomposition method. Two different methods are validated and the best forecasting method is selected based on the minimum Mean Square Error. After the validation process, Winters multiplicative seasonal trend model is selected based on the minimum MSE, and the monthly sales forecast for the year of 2011 is conducted using the data(60 months). Number Cruncher Statistical System (NCSS) is used for analyzing the data which proves useful and powerful. In summary, the results demonstrate that Winters multiplicative seasonal trend model has the smallest mean square error in this case. Therefore, we conclude that both Winters multiplicative seasonal trend model and the Decomposition model are well fitted for forecasting the seasonal market sales. Yet, Winters multiplicative seasonal trend model is the better method to be used in this study since it generates the smallest mean square error (MSE) during the period of validation.

Distributed Denial of Service : Svenska bankers uppfattning om hotbilden av DDoS-attacker

Macchiavello, Sabrina, Wulkan, Linnea January 2023 (has links)
As the financial sector has become increasingly digitized, its vulnerability to cyberattacks has increased. Distributed Denial of Service attacks are one of the biggest threats on the internet today and has been growing steadily for the last few years. The increase applies to both the size and frequency of the attacks. DDoS-attacks have been a threat especially towards banks and therefore it is important to have a well functional cyber security strategy to withstand the attacks. This thesis investigates Swedish banks perception regarding the threat picture of DDoS-attacks against banks. As a result of a qualitative case study, Swedish banks opinion has been investigated through interviews with IT security managers at Swedish banks. The banks are considered to have effective strategies to prevent and manage DDoS-attacks but the threat of cyber attacks continues to increase. The participants mention various factors that show an increase in DDoS-attacks and the media can be an influence. The empirical material is analyzed using the National Cybersecurity Strategy (NCSS) framework developed by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).
