Nietzsche: as paixÃes como afirmaÃÃo da vida e construÃÃo de uma nova Ãtica / Nietzsche: the passions as an affirmation of life and build a new ethic

Erica Costa Sousa 17 June 2013 (has links)
The present dissertation â entiteld Nietzsche: the passions as life affirmation e constructing of a ânew ethicsâ â aims at thinking of a ânew ethicsâ in Nietzscheâs philosophy, based upon his early writtings as well as on his lattest works. While developing this theme, we intend to consider, in a first moment, the notion of body as guide line and background of the analysis - taking it not as a dualistic opposition to the soul, but as a multiplicity of forces within an ethernal becoming, contributing towards a formation and transformation of living; then, after having considered the question of the inversion of Platonism, in line with the ideia of creation and yes-saying to life, we finally hope to point out a possible ânew ethicsâ in Nietzscheâs philosophy.

Disciples and discipleship in the Gospel of Mark, with particular reference to Mark's contrast between male and female disciples

Cox, Nicholas Christopher 31 January 2007 (has links)
This study is an exploration into female discipleship. Its primary aim is to compare and contrast Mark's portrayal of male and female followers of Jesus respectively, while its secondary aim is to establish what lessons there may be for the social status of Christian women in the kingdom of Swaziland. These ends will be pursued by looking at Mark's portrayal of male disciples and the contrast he draws between them and the female followers of Jesus. This study then concludes that Mark has a more positive view of female followers than he has of male disciples, and this may stem from the conduct of male disciples he has observed in the Church of his time. / New Testament / M.TH. (New Testament)
