Master thesis is focused on determination of differences in ways of valuation in city Olomouc. Fifteen garages were used to price estimate in this city. The first part of work deals with basic terms and theoretical definition of methods of valuation. Due to instructions of the work, the methods of valuation were chosen: cost method, comparison according to law and comparison based on databases. In the following parts are described chosen garages and there is undertaken evaluation. Differences of ways of valuation and their causes, which are based on obtained data, are discussed at the end of work.

The thesis is devoted to finding the percentage relationship between the advertised rent and the advertised price of commercial land in selected cities. Furthermore, determining the percentage relationship between the advertised rents and the price of commercial land price map.

The master's thesis is elaborated on the basis of the project of the Sport and Health Center Olomouc. The project consists of two main buildings – the object of NH Hotel and the Sports Center Omega. The hotel also includes a conference center with three conference halls and covered parking. The object of Omega Sports Center is composed of sports halls for squash, badminton and tennis, along with changing rooms, wellness area and operational background of the object itself. The sports center also incorporates outdoor tennis courts and an underground tunnel connecting the Omega center and the NH Hotel. This thesis deals with the civil technological project of the building site and involves mainly the technical report of civil technological project, the study of realization of the main technological stages of the building object, the project of organization of construction, time schedule of aforementioned two main buildings, the technological standard with test and execution plans for the execution of underground construction by the impermeable concrete technology and for execution of variant solution of tennis hall roofing. Further, a comparison of the alternative roofing technology with current used roofing technology is performed, including the drawing documentation of new roofing alternative.

This diploma thesis, Osvobozený Našinec from 1945 to 1948, aims to analyze the aforementioned daily newspaper in the selected period. Osvobozený Našinec was a regional catholic daily newspaper published in Olomouc with a tradition of over 80 years. Despite the fact that this newspaper had in its lifetime many unpleasant influences, the communist takeover in February 1948 meant the definitive end of this newspaper. Osvobozený Našinec served mostly as a source of local information about life in Olomouc and until now hasn't been a subject of any deeper analysis. Firstly, the work deals with the development of newspaper from its establishment up until 1941 when publishing was stopped during the war. Osvobozený Našinec was published under the Czechoslovakian Popular Party after the Second World War and that is why part of the second chapter is devoted to this party and its development. The following chapter describes the situation in Czechoslovakia after the Second World War and the changes it brought in all aspects of life with regard to the press, the Olomouc region and the Czechoslovakian Popular Party. The diploma thesis deals with topic of production, enterprise and consumption of "Olomoucké tvarůžky" (Olomouc cottage cheese) in a 1938-1960 period on the ground of bohemian lands, or Czechoslovakia respectively. It summarizes development of this branch up to the year 1938 and observes how it was affected by the consequences of the Munich Treaty. The thesis puts closer look at the types of state interventions in production of Olomouc cottage cheese in war and postwar time. It also observes process of socialization and subsequent nationalization of private businesses in 1950s. Then it focuses on major aspects of business in this branch and brings more detailed study of three typical entrepreneurs according to the scale of their involvement. The thesis furthermore characterizes production of Olomouc cottage cheese as an individual branch of dairy industry. It surveys number, form, regional dislocation and machinery of businesses. Then it considers amount of production of Olomouc cottage cheese, its relation to total cheese production, to type of plant and region. It deals with number, structure and position of employees in Olomouc cottage cheese businesses. It also concerns export of Olomouc cottage cheese. The presented diploma thesis was elaborated as an architectural study of a new synagogue in Olomouc according to the assignment. The goal of the thesis was to design the architectural proposal of the synagogue as well as of the new centre for the Jewish community and Jewish museum. The final proposal is two buildings connected by a courtyard. The synagogue is designed on the same place where the original synagogue stood. Part of the building for Jewish community is mikveh ritual bath, kosher restaurant, community hall, library and offices. The Jewish museum is partially recessed below ground level and covers an area beneath the synagogue and the courtyard. Shielding the building from the bustling Avenue is solved with park proposal. The entrance to the underground garage with 32 parking spaces is from the street Lafayettova.

The presented diploma thesis was elaborated as an architectural study of a new synagogue in Olomouc according to the assignment. The goal of the project was to design a synagogue, new place for the Jewish community of Olomouc and Jewish museum on the site of original burnt synagogue. The concept was based on an effort to restore dialogue between private and public (openness vs. closeness of Jewish community) and to connect the individual functions and create a closed functional unit to fulfil the needs of Jewish community, however, also communicate with the public. The complex contains kosher restaurant, museum of Jewish culture, administration, library, community hall, educational room, kosher grocery store, mikveh the ritual bath, chapel and the garden. The block is divided into three buildings connected each other by colonnade and courtyard which opens to adjacent public square but at the same time is protected from the bustle of the main road.

In this diploma thesis is described problematic of regional competitiveness issue. In the theoretical part is defined region as the main actor of regional development and its funding possibilities. In the practical part is described Olomouc region supplemented by SWOT analysis. Competitiveness of the region is achieved by statistical variables from different sectors.

This diploma thesis deals with the design of the new polyfunctional residency building in Olomouc. Object has square shape and five upper floors and basement. Building is designed as a stand-alone building comprising three operational units. In the first floor is located a café and a bookstore and separate building entry. In the second floor are located offices and the rest of the building is formed with total 12 housing units with different layouts and sizes. In the basement are located cellars for housing units and utility room. The object is designed with separate parking lot. Vertical support system is formed by reinforced concrete skeleton and filling masonry from ceramic fittings Porotherm. Horizontal support system is formed by beams and ceiling slabs from reinforced concrete. Object is based on foundation footings made from reinforced concrete. Roof is designed as a single-shell flat roof. Object is insulated with mineral wool and a ventilated facade made of fiber-cement slabs is designed. The work contains a documentation and design part and is processed as a documentation for the costruction execution.
