Vårda mig och mitt hjärta : En kvalitativ innehållsanalys utifrån patientperspektivetHäggqvist, Malin, Bondkall Westerdahl, Matilda January 2018 (has links)
Background: Patients with heart failure need good nursing care and the condition can affect their entire life. As nurses meet these patients in different contexts within healthcare, there is also a need to understand what they experience is good care. It is important to see them as individuals from a holistic perspective where mental, physical and spiritual needs are met. Aim: To describe how patients with heart failure experience good care. Method: A qualitative manifest content analysis based on four autobiographical books. Result: Patients with heart failure described that it was important to have a good relationship with the caregivers. Then care was considered good. The results revealed three main categories: being carefully taken care of, to experience a good relationship with the caregivers, and to get good advice from the caregivers. Conclusion: Based on the chosen health science perspective, previous research and the results of this essay, a clear pattern can appear where patients with heart failure not only have a physical need for medical technical care but also a need to satisfy emotional and mental needs from a holistic perspective.
