Mediateca Pública de Independencia / The public mediatheque of independencia.

Paiva La Chira, Karis Rubi 21 November 2019 (has links)
This research aims to develop a Public Media Library for all users in the Independencia district. An in-depth study of the site, users and referential projects was made and all this helped us to design a building that solves the main problem of this district. Independencia is the economic center of the North of Lima. However, most of the people who are at the head of the micro-enterprises do not have a complete education and a global vision of the field in which they work. This situation is the main problem of the district. Therefore, the answer to this problem is to offer the users an option where they can obtain accredited information in an easy, fast and practical way, even if they use the building as an information machine in itself. In this way pedestrians may be educated just by passing inside or outside the building. The Media Library was placed at the intersection of two main avenues in the district, Túpac Amaru and Izaguirre, at the intersection of three zoning areas (housing, commerce and education) so that the media library could reach a wider variety of users. It seeks to provide a public space where different users interact with each other so that the building can be joined with a two- way relationship with its immediate environment. It seeks to provide a communitary service to the immediate context, because within of its radius of influence, there are many educational institutions that do not have suitable places to study. / Tesis

Sýkorová, Michaela January 2016 (has links)
Student Bc. Michaela Ráčková in her diploma thesis will be deal with a phenomenon of revitalization of church buildings, especially design of reconversion of the former vicarage and its surroundings in the village Přítluky in South Moravia. Church buildings as churches, vicarages, convents have always been determining and dominant element in the formation of settlements. Their clear and often privileged position in the structure of settlements was determined by relationship of man to faith. This position remained them despite many ups and downs and church buildings still play an important role in the environment in which we live.

Aby mesto miestom bolo / The City Into The Place

Kvaššay, Lukáš January 2017 (has links)
The waterfronts of major rivers play an important role in the development of settlements. On the territory of Slovakia, however, there are many more small flows whose potential remains unused. It also includes the river Domanižanka, which forms one of the main urban axes of Považská Bystrica and is a significant element of the whole region. At present, it is designed for a flood flow with a trough recessed into supporting stone - concrete walls. In the built-up area of the city, this river flows through a diverse territory. In my diploma thesis I focus on six spaces with their own atmosphere and varying degrees of intimacy. These spaces lie along the flow on the busy line of the main city center with its local center at the SNP. To these spaces I assign a certain character, or, on the contrary, I support the existing one. I respect the existing values of places and I try to integrate their interventions into parts. The basis of the proposal is to create an adequate pedestrian and cycling link between these sites with regard to the quality of the individual stories of these places. Where water still represents the primary element of shared viability between nature and its inhabitants, humans. Water as a basic condition for the existence of life. Water as one of the elements, used to regenerate the body and the soul. To cleanse the city and the place.

Já a "Sokol" / I and "Sokol"

Kobyliaková, Tatiana January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis is dedicated to design of the sports center and its integration into the urban structure of the city. In previous analyzes, the Sokol architecture and its typology have been examined in detail. One of the aims of the diploma thesis is to verify final hypotheses resulting from the analysis and apply them to the context of today. The project proposal takes into consideration existing built-up area around the plot, its potential, topography and also the complex traffic situation in the area. The solution is to divide the area by a mitigative traffic artery into two segments. In the northern segment there are functions of administration, accommodation and public greenery, in the southern segment there is a sport center linked to existing sports halls.

Kopřivnice – neviditelné centrum města / Kopřivnice – invisible town center

Jurková, Kristýna Unknown Date (has links)
Defining the town of Kopřivnice from point of view other than just as an industrial town became the starting point of my diploma thesis. When studying the history of the town, it became certain, that Kopřivnice is not made up by industrial areas and prefab estates, but a small stream hides in its DNA, which defined the origin of the town. A few historical layers were built on it, it is only right that other changes take place in its vicinity. Kopřivnička is characterized not only by the fact that it forms the green axe of the town, but also by the fact that in its surrounding there are mostly buildings intended for housing. Family houses and prefab houses alternate along its length. How should the housing look like, how can we determine the next stage of housing in Kopřivnice? That is the question, that fulfil the theme of my diploma thesis. We have got a creek and the green axe, which is not perceived by many residents, and we have an acute shortage of housing in the town. I am looking for answers to the question of whether it is possible to change the scale in the context of prefabricated houses, whether it is possible to live differently than everyone separeted in their own apartment. The answer seems to be a complex of community housing next to the former archbishop‘s manor. There is a change in the perception of the function of housing. The thesis tries to reflect the architecture in terms of the requirements of the population not only by gender or age, but also in terms of interests, hobbies and their personal needs. Each person is unique and needs a different space for themselves and in their surroundings. Can loners, workaholics, seniors, extroverts and large families live together to make everyone happy?
