Nevertheless, although Worker's Party is a very well-known subject in political science literature, there are still a few theoretical gaps regarding two main dimensions: cultural and regional; especially when addressed together. Based on that, this study is developed in order to explore one of these gaps, which aims to analyse the political culture of the PT leaders from Paraná state by means of a comparative table, with people responsible to the meetings and conferences. The reason for focusing on Paraná state was the particularities found in terms of party's formation processes, which strongly influence the actions and structure of the party along its agency according to Panebianco. However, it is known that such particularities are due to historical context and economic development of the state which determine the formation of specific groups, and consequently the PT-PR group. As a result, it was found that mobilized sectors in Paraná have different characteristics in comparison to the most recognisable experiences such as those of ABC. In summary, we argue that these different factors tend to influence and create some particularities with regards political culture of these leaders. / O trabalho aqui apresentado se fundamenta naquilo que tratamos como brechas da literatura sobre o Partido dos Trabalhadores, que apesar de se apresentar como a legenda com maior atenção dos estudiosos desde sua fundação até suas experiências governativas e chegada ao poder nacional ainda demonstra pouca atenção a duas dimensões: a culturalista e a regionalista, em especial quando abordadas em conjunto. O objetivo principal que impulsiona este estudo é analisar a cultura política dos dirigentes petistas do estado do Paraná a partir de um quadro comparativo com os petistas médios delegados de Encontros e Congressos. A motivação por este estado se fundamenta em especifidades que o processo de formação do partido naquela localidade apresenta fatores que conforme argumentos de Panebianco tenderiam a influenciar fortemente toda trajetória do partido. Tais peculiaridades partem do contexto histórico e desenvolvimento econômico do estado, determinando em grande medida a formação dos grupos específicos da sociedade que se esforçaram para formar o PT-PR. O que se verifica é que os setores mobilizados no Paraná possuem características diferentes das experiências mais reconhecidas como a do ABC. Argumentamos assim que estes fatores de diferenciação tendem a influenciar e criar algumas especificidades também nos traços avaliativos da cultura política destes dirigentes.

1 The thesis Populist Movements in the Czech Republic considers people and political groups using populist appeals which refer to "well-behaved people" and go against unfriendly élites. The thesis describes main topics of these political subjects, and on the base of it it develops a few populist families. In the introductory part, a few theoretical approaches to populism in general and its relationship with democracy are discussed. The main purpose of the thesis is to describe the environment of populist subjects in the Czech Republic and to classify them according to their similarities and cleavage lines.
