To define creative incubators and understand the recent emergence of business incubators specializing in the area of cultural and creative industries, the evolution of the concept will be described. The second part of the thesis starts with the presentation of the methodology and proposes possible applications of strategic management for creative incubators. The Creative Incubator Project in Pilsen is then described in greater detail and examined by selected methods of strategic analysis. To gain better understanding of macro environmental factors, the PEST analysis is applied. To describe micro environment, a series of analyses is used: Porter five forces model, Blue Ocean Strategy and stakeholder analysis. The strategic analysis is concluded with the SWOT analysis that sums up the findings of preceding chapters and should provide the incubator management with a sound base for strategy formulation.

Regionální diferenciace populačního vývoje v Plzeňském kraji: historickogeografická analýza / Regional differentiation of the population development in Pilsen region: historical-geographical analysisPAŘIL, Aleš January 2015 (has links)
This master thesis analyses the regional differentiation of population development of micro-regions of Pilsen region. The analytical part focuses on the period from the mid-19th century to the most recent census (2011). During this long-term development, in terms of population, the region undergone major changes which were the result of variety of. The essence of the study is to verify the key determinants which caused the differentiation in selected micro-regions. The work also provides a characteristic of the region, including a list of its natural and socio-geographic specifics, including the major historical events in the development of the region. There is a brief comparison with other regions for initial classification within the Czech Republic, which is also focused on the period of 161 years. This initial part is followed by the analyses of an actual population development realised by sub-analyses of the micro-regions. These sub-analyses examine the three selected factors which are likely to have a big impact on the population changes in the region. Based on the development and the status of the population, the core and periphery micro-regions in the regional system are classified. Within the final synthesis the micro-regions are divided into categories which defer from each other in dynamics of development. The conclusion summarizes results of the work and a validation of the input hypotheses is its part.

Exordial chapter examines the objectives of the work and reviews the published literature. Chapter "Methodology of processing "is dedicated to the description of various methods that are used to describe spatial aspects of public transport in the researched territory (geographic-traffic regionalization, the typology of municipalities). The following chapters examine the phenomenon of transport, and evaluation of the current state of transportation in the world and the Czech Republic. The current state of public transport in the Czech Republic is analyzed here as part of this problem. The following chapter deals with selected geographical characteristics of Pilsen Region. "Buďtež prokleti vy všichni, kdož jste toho původci". Léta 1870-1950 pohledem kroniky Václava Koppa. / "Be cursed all of you who are initiators of this". Years 1870-1950 in view of the chronicle of Václav KoppMARTINOVSKÁ, Soňa January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis aims on introducing the "Chronicle of the Kopp family", a personal writing found in the inheritance of Pilsen teacher Vaclav Kopp (1876-1951). The thesis also intends to integrate this work into contexts of the ego-documents research; introductory article therefore touches the matters of personal sources as a subject of a research interest. The main text of the thesis is further divided into four chapters. The first chapter presents the story of Vaclav Kopp's life and also focuses on the history of his family. The following chapter deals with the analysis of the source and it particularly wants to emphasize the overall change of its character. The third chapter is a pivotal part of the thesis. It discusses topics contained in the "Chronicle" with intent to look into the everyday life of the author and into his intellectual world. In the last chapter, the work of Vaclav Kopp is compared with the memoirs of another Pilsen citizen - Luisa Pernerová-Zykmundová and with other personal sources from Pilsen of the same time period. Conclusion then summarizes the findings and it points out the importance of the investigated work and offers the possibility of its further use. A list of sources and bibliography is appended, as well as a large number of pictorial attachments.

The objective of this work was to develop a methodology to quantify the proportion of malt and the adjunct used in the Pilsen beer brewing, to verify the possible occurrence of fraud in beer brewed in Brazil and to evaluate the correlation between the percent of malt with the beer retail price. Therefore, the methodology of stable isotopes using the chemical elements carbon (13C) and nitrogen (15N) was tested. Raw material of beer (malt, corn grits, rice, high maltose corn syrup and sugar cane) coming from different geographical regions, were used for the production of pure worts and their mixtures. These mixtures turned fermented standards of reference to make calibration straight lines, from which a model was proposed by inverted linear regression analysis, that to conduct for all Pilsen beer. Also a range of trust was calculated at a level of 90 % to quantify the most likely percentage (MLP) of malt present in beer. After that, stable isotopic analyses and physical-chemical analyses were made of brewing beer from seventeen Brazilian States brewers of beer. The results showed that barley and malt are similar in the two analyzed isotopes, not being possible to separate them. The analysis of ä13C presented the MLP of malt in brewed beer with malt and the adjunct coming from the C4 plant, and the analysis of ä15N provided the MLP of malt in beer brewed with malt and rice (both C3 plant). One hundred sixty one samples of Brazilian beer were analyzed, from which 91,3 % used malt and adjuncts of the C4 plant in its formulation, 4,3 % showed rice, 4,3% were classify like pure malt beer. From the total, 28,6 % were in the doubt range as for the MLP of malt... (Complete abstract click electronic access below)
