The diploma work deals with the destination management of Pilsen region. First part of my work describes the theoretical solutions. The diploma work continues with collection and analysis of primary and secondary date. In this part is possible to find the informations about conditions for development of tourism, about the methods of marketing diversification of pilsen tourist region, there are the organization of destination management of Pilsen region and the individual activities executing with this organization. The following part is considering with evaluation of gathered informations, recapitulates activities executing within destination management of Pilsen region and inquire current controling of destination.The diploma work also offers a group of steps for improvement of destination controling of Pilsen region as an important destination of tourism.

The quality of social services can be guaranteed by inspection according to predefined, measurable criteria. In the social sphere these comprise quality standards of social services. Quality standards are defined as a set of criteria through which the level of quality of provision of social services in the sphere of personnel and operational provision of social services and in the sphere of relations between the provider and the clients is defined. The aim of the work was to find out what problems are encountered by residential facilities in the Plzeň Region when they are introducing quality standards of social services. A partial aim of the work was to outline possible options as to how to optimise the given state. Data was obtained through a qualitative survey. The interviewing method, semi-guided interview technique and content analysis of documents were selected in order to achieve the goals of the work. The survey took place in selected residential social-care facilities in the Plzeň Region. The conducted survey implied that standard No. 2 Protection of personal rights and standard No. 5 Individual planning are considered by the facilities as more complex in terms of implementation yet very beneficial in practice. Also, the formulation and definition of standards, especially in the case of standard No. 1 Goals and methods of provision of social services created difficulties. Other problems that are encountered by the facilities include motivation, time demands and administrative load of the staff. Proposed solutions for the optimisation of the current situation are directed into the area of awareness, use of information technologies, and improvement of the lifelong education system. The following hypothesis was formulated based on the qualitative survey: the qualifications of social workers and social service workers achieved influence the introduction of quality standards. The diploma thesis may become an inspiration and a source of information for facilities that are adjusting the existing proposals or are dealing with the initial introduction of quality standards of social services. In particular, the above suggestions for optimisation, a more detailed elaboration of which could become the subject of another work in the social sphere, can be of major benefit.

This Master thesis deals with the job satisfaction of employees in Financial Office in Pilsen and Financial Office in Tachov. The aim is to compare the state of the job satisfaction of employees at individual financial offices. The theoretical part describes what the term "working satisfaction" actually means, which main factors influence it and why these factors are not important only for financial offices. In this thesis is explained the term "motivation in work behavior", its relationship to the work of the staff and - least but not last - the resources of this motivation. Further follows the definition of worker's stimulation and the stimulus means associated with it. The practical part consists of the characteristics of the financial offices both in Pilsen and in Tachov, further on of the results of empirical investigation, the verification of given hypotheses and of proposals for individual action steps in each financial office.

The objective of this thesis is to critically evaluate difficulty of all steps needed to set up a kindergarten focused on German language. The thesis then questions the potential of this type of organization in Pilsen. The scale for the amount of potencial is based on a conducted survey targeted at pilsner parents with young children and their priorities when choosing a kindergarten. The evaluation arises also from the captures evaluating the project schedule, financial plan and expected amount of registered children. The theoretical part summarizes the geographical development in Czech Republic during the last periods and the legislation adjusting the establishment of a kindergarten. The practical part describes the concrete steps of the project from the very first thoughts to opening the kindergarten including the first two months of its operation.

La investigación a realizar será de carácter cualitativo, en la cual se estudiará el cambio de la percepción de millenials ante la marca, tras la transformación del discurso publicitario de la misma, se realizarán entrevistas y focus con la finalidad de determinar la nueva percepción de los consumidores ante la marca. / Today, we live with a society extremely changing and along with it the market and the communication evolves, before this change, the brands are in the need to look for new ways to reach their consumer and above all to differentiate themselves from the rest, is why the brewery brand Pilsen Callao revolutionized the parameters established by a stereotyped industry, presenting gender inclusion in its campaign , discarding the idea that beer is for male consumption and at the same time, discarding the misogynistic ideas of society. This thesis of diploma entitled Care of clients of sheltered housing in the senior age and at the time of dying deals with the care for old persons in sheltered housings for mentally disabled persons. The goal of the thesis is to identify and to describe obstacles, which, at present, prevent sheltered housings for mentally disabled persons from providing care for clients, who have grown old in the facility, who what to spend there their declining years and who wish to die in their familiar environment with dignity. Such care should be available regardless of the location of the sheltered housing, regardless of clients' financial situation and the type of governing authority of the sheltered housing. The second goal of the thesis is to find satisfactory solutions to all the identified obstacles, in order to realize the clients' right to choose their environment and suitable care at the end of their life. In the first section, the author defines basic terms and describes two variants of sheltered housing - a basic option with age restriction and an option with enhanced program for old persons. The master's thesis follows up on the bachelor's thesis called The Folk Song in the Pilsen Region as a Part of the Regional Culture. Primarily, the theoretical part of the thesis aims to compare and contrast two distinct regions, specifically the Pilsen region and the Wallachian region. It focuses on the characteristics of their folk culture including folk architecture, folk costume, folk customs and most importantly folk songs. The thesis deals both with their characteristics typical of Bohemian and Moravian regions in general and their characteristics typical of the Pilsen and the Wallachian regions. The thesis further focuses on folklore festivals, folklore ensembles and folk song collectors associated with these regions. The practical goal of the thesis is the application of Pilsen and Wallachian folk songs in Music classes at upper primary school (or in the corresponding grades of multi-year gymnasium) in the form of a play with folk songs from both regions and arousing pupils' interest in folk songs. The appendix includes pictures and photographs associated with the folklore of the Pilsen and Wallachian regions as well as examples of Wallachian folk songs that can be used as a song-book in Music classes.

The issue of transport is currently one of the most discussed topics, thanks to deepening regional differentiation causing increased demands on the quality of existing transport links. Especially the attractiveness of centers and the existence of good transport infrastructure, stimulating the development of the region (his success), is becoming one of the most debated issues of our times. This diploma thesis deals with the comparison and evaluation of changes in spatial interaction in the settlement of the Plzeň/ Pilsen region in two time slices (1991 and 2001). Analysis of the interactions of traffic will be done by using statistical methods and using GIS technology. Main attention will be paid to the spatial differentiation of the frequency of traffic flows and transport accessibility. Subsequently, the transport characteristics will be compared with the characteristics of the complex importance of settlement, so the basic relationships between these indicators can be found. The thesis' subject is the career of Gustav Voborník, a reliable dancer and an accomplished choreographer, in the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen from 1968 till 1981. The chief part of the thesis deals with the total of nineteen ballet productions that Voborník created in the Pilsen theatre in his lifetime. A brief introduction discussing the problem of sources in this field of research is followed by a biography of Gustav Voborník, detailing his experience as a dancer and as a choreographer as well as his preparation for a production and for a work with dancers. To complement the overview of Voborník's artistic work, this part also features chapters dedicated to various ensembles that helped shape his artistic personality: the Czechoslovak State Song and Dance Ensemble and the Vít Nejedlý Army Artistic Ensemble. The final chapter before the part describing Voborník's Pilsen works as a choreographer is a short one introducing his views of the folklore, since folk dances and culture in general are the sources of many of his choreographies, while the 2nd half of the 20th century is known as an era of substantial shift in the perception and practice of folk traditions. The aim of the thesis: to capture the life of the Czech social democratic politician and former mayor of Pilsen, Luděk Pik, with a specific focus on his political activities in the city. This thesis also aims to understand and clarify Pik's relation to Pilsen and the relevance to his life, as well as his essential role in the history of this West Bohemian metropolis. Luděk Pik (18. 5. 1876 Prague - 19. 4. 1948 Pilsen) lived in Pilsen for almost five decades of his life (1901-1948), except the period during the Nazi occupation (1939- 1945). Since 1901 he worked in Pilsen for the Czechoslavonic Social Democratic Workers Party, where he quickly became the local party elite. At the end of the World War I he participated in the establishment of an independent Czechoslovak state. In 1919-1938 he served continuously as mayor of the city of Pilsen and significantly contributed to its modernization and development. He also sat in Cisleithanian and Czechoslovakian legislatures. After the Munich Treaty he was forced to stand down from his political status and was persecuted during the Nazi occupation. The post-war situation prevented his return to a public life.
