A presente dissertação tem como foco estudar a paisagem pictórica na arte contemporânea através do trabalho de Teresa Poester. Outros artistas como Cristina Canale, Gelson Radaelli, Luiz Zerbini e Vânia Mignone serão utilizados para confrontar aspectos de semelhança ou diferença entre as obras. Pretende-se investigar a relação da paisagem com a obra desses artistas em sua prática pictórica, além de esboçar aspectos relativos ao seu conceito, sua representação e sua história. As questões que definem a pesquisa referem-se à paisagem como uma manifestação inerente a um povo, diferente em cada povo e à na forma como ela se faz no olho do espectador. Ou seja, ela é tornada paisagem pelo olhar estético e sua origem na pintura. Além disso, está permeada por relações conceituais, imagéticas, perceptivas, históricas, artísticas, filosóficas, geográficas, pois a paisagem está presente em várias áreas do conhecimento. Ela tem sua ligação com o território, num primeiro momento, e depois adquire seus significados conceituais, estéticos e contemplativos. / This dissertation focuses on the study of pictorial landscape in contemporary art through the work of Teresa Poester. Other artists like Cristina Canale, Gelson Radaelli, Luiz Zerbini and Vânia Mignone will be used to confront aspects of similarity or difference between the works. It investigates the relation between landscape and the work of these artists in their pictorial practice, outlining aspects of its concept, its representation and its history. The issues that define the research refer to the landscape as an inherent manifestation of a people, different in each nation, and to the way it presents itself in the eye of the spectator. In other words, it is made landscape due to the aesthetic eye and its origin in painting. It is also permeated by conceptual, imagistic, perceptual, historical, artistic, philosophical and geographical relations, for the landscape is present in many areas of knowledge. It is connected with the territory, at first, and then acquires its conceptual, aesthetic and contemplative meanings.
