Diplomová práce dle zkušeností vybraných zemí naznačuje hlavní body, na které by se měla zaměřit penzijní reforma v ČR a zároveň vyzdvihuje pozitivní stránky a upozorňuje na problémy důchodových systémů států, jenž jsem si zvolila. Vybrala jsem si důchodový systém čtyř zemí, jmenovitě důchodový systém Polska, Maďarska, Slovenska a Švýcarska. Hlavním důvodem výběru bylo geografické hledisko, dále skutečnost, že všechny země již uskutečnily penzijní reformu a u Švýcarka navíc fakt, že jeho důchodové pojištění je označováno jako ideální prototyp.

The subject of this thesis is the comparison of the privatization process in the Czech Republic (former Czechoslovakia), Hungary and Poland. The starting point of the thesis represents an initial outline of the situation - for different initial conditions in each country significantly influenced the course and shape of the process. The main part of the thesis is an analysis of privatization processes in compared countries, with emphasis on their specific features and influences that affect the process significantly. At the conclusion there is a comparision of Czech, Hungarian and Polish version of privatization based on several criteria. Although it is difficult to classify the universally best privatization method, main advantages and disadvantages of different methods and serious mistakes committed by economic policy actors can be easily identified.

Theoretical part of the thesis assesses eurozone in terms of optimum currency area criteria, describes benefits and costs of eurozone membership and criteria of nominal and real convergence. Comparative part explores inter alia whether the compared countries have set euro adoption date, whether they fulfill the Maastricht criteria, what's the degree of their real convergence and what's their attitude to euro adoption in general and current European pacts.

The whole pension system is analysed for each country, including the general comparison with focusing on the funded pillars and their products. The comparison is based on selected criteria. This thorough comparison then helps to form the suggestions for funded pillars in Czech Republic, which could lead up to improvement of the current situation regarding the social security in our country.

This master's thesis concerns itself with regional development in tourism. In general it focuses on the position and importance of tourism in Central Europe, and more specifically on the Visegrad Group i.e. the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the general characteristics of tourism as a whole and explains basic concepts that serve as a basis for the practical part. It defines tourism and its typology, describes the factors affecting tourism development, focuses on the countries of the Visegrad Group and specifies tourism in these countries. With regard to the topics discussed in the theoretical part, the main objective of this master's thesis is to create a new tourist route within the Visegrad Group (V4) countries. For this specific purpose, a tour of the V4 countries was planned. The plan itself foresees a tour lasting several days and includes a budget. The resulting outcome can be used to enrich the existing tour offers of travel agencies who focus on tours within Central Europe. This new tourist route will help to expand the customer base of travel agencies, especially with customers from overseas. The final outcome will lead to further tourism development within the Visegrad Group countries.

The presented diploma thesis deals with the theme of everydayness of imperial diplomats working in Poland in the second half of the 17th century. The basic source for the research is the preserved personal correspondence of six diplomats from the period concerned. The author of the thesis also takes note of prints, leaflets and prescriptive manuals for diplomats of the era. One of the main objectives of the work is to clarify how the imperial envoys perceived the parliamentary tradition and practice of Polish-Lithuanian state and also how they were personally involved in the affairs of the Seim and royal court. An essential part of the work is the analysis of a diplomat´s audience with the Seim, fractionalism of the Seim and the envoy´s interaction with the sovereign during both official and unofficial events. Other important part of the thesis is an interpretation of the symbolic meaning of festivities which the imperials diplomats at the Polish court took part in e.g. weddings, funerals, elections and coronations. The work also focuses on the private component of the diplomat´s mission and its most important institution of "patronage and good friendship", owing to which many locked doors could have been entered and which enabled diplomats having the security of the financial support of their mother country. Informal activities of diplomats comprised also travelling within legation and different related dangers. The author also deals with the health condition of diplomats and the ways their health problems influenced their daily routines during a diplomatic mission. Last but not least part of the work treats the Habsburg diplomat´s perception of Polish, Russian and Tatar people and the communication network of imperial envoys.

V první, spíše teoretické části, jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy vztahující se ke Svatému stolci, papežův primát, vnitřní struktura fungování Římské kurie se zaměřením na Státní sekretariát a Papežskou radu pro spravedlnost a mír, principy diplomacie Svatého stolce, východiska pro pontifikát Jana Pavla II. (II. vatikánský koncil a jeho dokumenty, Ostpolitik Svatého stolce), znaky programu pontifikátu Jana Pavla II. a jím upřednostňované nástroje a aspekty. Druhá, aplikační část, na vybraných případech z 80. let 20. století ? spor o Beaglův průliv, válka o Falklandy, napětí v Polsku, nikaragujský režim a problematika teologie osvobození a občanská válka v Libanonu ? ukazuje konkrétní postoj Svatého stolce či jeho roli v nich.
