Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit einem der gewinnbringendsten Zweige der Internetbranche, der Mainstream- Internetpornografie und ihren Rahmenbedingungen im Kontext der Politik der Europäischen Union zu illegalen und schädigenden Internetinhalten. Basierend auf dem Framing-Ansatz wird der Politikprozess zum "Mehrjährigen Aktionsplan zur sichereren Nutzung des Internets" aus grundrechtlicher und feministischer Perspektive untersucht. Dabei wird das Policy Framing der beteiligten EU-AkteurInnen insbesondere hinsichtlich geschlechtersensibler Herangehensweisen und den ihnen zugrunde liegenden theoretischen Zugängen analysiert. Die dominanten Policy Frames der AkteurInnen werden aus unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten in der Zielsetzung und Definition illegaler und schädigender Internetinhalte und deren grundrechtlichen Implikationen sowie der strategischen Positionierung der AkteurInnen zwischen "möglichen Grundrechtseingriffen" oder der "Betonung liberaler Abwehrrechte" abgeleitet.

The constant evolution of ICT changes the habits and way of life of today´s generation. At the same time, it affects their sexuality and the associated sexual life. Generation Y represents the generation of young people who come into contact with ICT from the young age and excel in high-level information literacy. This diploma thesis is offering a comprehensive view of the impact of ICT on Generation Y in terms of human sexual-ity and pornography. The social research brings findings on ICT usage issues in differ-ent places (at work, at university, etc.), security and privacy protection in the virtual world, and ICT pornography. The research of studies from foreign countries passes to the author´s own research. It also reflects new trends in ICT; the 3D virtual reality. In the final part of the diploma thesis the author discusses and compares the results ob-tained by his own research with foreign studies. At the same time, author´s own find-ings are formulated. Author is also proposing questions that could form the basis of research at the organisational level.

Rapid technological development has lead to an increase in the accessibility of pornography. Some professionals have labelled pornography as a social issue due to the increase in accessibility and exposure to pornography. In the past, extensive research has been conducted regarding the possible impact of pornography on adolescents as well as on adults. However, there is discrepancy among professionals with regard to the impact of pornography, as it seems as if there is little agreement on what effects or impact regular pornography consumption may have on the consumer. Some researchers regard pornography as a social issue with severe ramifications for the consumer. Other researchers view pornography as harmless time-consuming activities. Therefore, it seems that inadequate research was previously done to investigate what impact regular exposure to or consumption of pornography may have on the consumer’s life. Young adulthood is considered a crucial phase in human development. Critical developmental tasks such as reaching emotional and financial independence, defining morals, values and principles, establishing intimacy and dedication, choosing a life partner and having children and raise them, are prevalent during this life phase. There is little existing research regarding the impact of pornography on males in this life phase. The hypothesis was made that: should pornography consumption lead to any hindrance in the acquisition of any developmental tasks during this specific life phase, that it may have an effect on the person in a later life phase. The researcher thus endeavoured to address the gap by looking specifically at the possible impact of pornography on young adult males, but the researcher also attempted to contribute to the existing scholarly debate regarding the impact of pornography consumption on the consumer in general. The rationale for this study emanated from the researcher’s desire to add to the existing knowledge base, and to inform professionals in the therapeutic setting about the impact of pornography. The researcher undertook a qualitative, applied research study which enabled her to explore the perceptions of young adult males who have had prolonged experience to pornography consumption. Fifteen (15) young adult male participants were purposefully selected. Snowball sampling was applied as a sampling method to identify possible participants. The researcher utilised in-depth interviewing which is also known as unstructured interviewing as data collection method. One (1) openended question was directed to the participants and it was formulated as follows: “What are your perceptions as a young adult male, with regard to the impact of pornography on young adult males’ lives?” The researcher did a pilot test in order to ensure that this open-ended question provided adequate opportunity for the participants to respond unreservedly. The researcher followed the following steps during the process of data analysis: <ul> <li> Planning for the recording of data by means of audio recordings</li> <li> Managing and organising data by means of detailed transcripts and filing it in folders</li> <li> Reading and writing memos</li> <li> Generating categories, themes and patterns</li> <li> Representing, visualising and displaying the data by means of a complete research report.</li></ul> The research study revealed that pornography consumption may have a significant impact on the lives of young adult males. The following areas of the life of the young adult male were identified which may be affected by pornography consumption: <ul> <li> Self-value</li> <li> The development of a gender-identity (masculinity)</li> <li> Moral and Spiritual development</li> <li> Cognitive development</li> <li> Addiction</li> <li> Career development</li> <li> Sexual development in terms of sexual knowledge, sexual attitude and sexual behaviour</li> <li> Development of interpersonal relationships</li> <li> Development of mentors in society.</li> </ul> It was recommended that there should be improved service delivery for young adult males who are experiencing some of these effects of pornography consumption. Training for professionals and further research regarding this phenomenon will make this recommendation possible. AFRIKAANS : Snelle tegnologiese vooruitgang het ‘n verhoging in die toeganklikheid van pornografiese materiaal tot gevolg. Sekere kenners bestempel pornografie as ‘n maatskaplike probleem, juis as gevolg van die verhoging tot die blootstelling aan en toeganklikheid van hierdie materiaal. Bestaande navorsing oor hierdie fenomeen is grootliks uitgevoer met betrekking tot die moontlike impak van pornografie op adolessente en volwassenes. Dit blyk asof daar verskil in bevindinge en opinies onder professionele persone is met betrekking tot die impak van gereelde pornografiese blootstelling op die verbruiker. Sekere navorsers bestempel pornografie as ‘n maatskaplike probleem wat erge negatiewe gevolge vir die verbruiker mag inhou. Ander navorsers bestempel pornografie as onskuldige tydverdryf. Daarom blyk dit asof onvoldoende navorsing voorheen uitgevoer is om te ondersoek watter impak blootstelling aan, of verbruiking van pornografie op die verbruiker se lewe mag hê. Jong volwassenheid word as ‘n essensiële fase in menslike ontwikkeling bestempel. Kritieke ontwikkelingstake sluit onder andere die volgende in: om emosionele en finansiële onafhanklikheid te bereik, om morele waardes en beginsels te definieer, om intimiteit en toegewydheid te vestig en om ‘n lewensmaat te kies, kinders te baar en op te voed. Daar is min bestaande navorsing uitgevoer aangaande die impak van pornografie op mans in hierdie lewensfase. Die hipotese was soos volg geformuleer: sou pornografie tot enige obstruksie in die bereiking van enige van die ontwikkelingstake gedurende hierdie spesifieke lewensfase lei, dit ‘n effek op ‘n persoon in ‘n latere lewensfase mag hê. Die navorser het dus gepoog, om die gaping in bestaande navorsing oor die moontlike impak van pornografie op die jong volwassse man aan te spreek, maar die navorser het ook gepoog om ‘n bydrae tot die bestaande akademiese debat, met betrekking tot die impak van pornografie op die verbruiker in die algemeen, te lewer. Die motivering vir hierdie studie het uit die navorser se begeerte om ‘n bydrae tot die bestaande kennisbasis te lewer en om professionele persone in die terapeutiese omgewing rakende die impak van pornografie in te lig, ontstaan. Die navorser het ‘n kwalitatiewe, toegepaste navorsingstudie onderneem, wat haar in staat gestel het om die persepsies van jong volwasse mans wat ervaring met langdurige verbruik van pornografie het, te verken. Vyftien (15) jong volwasse mans was doelgerig vir deelname aan die studie geselekteer. Sneeubal-steekproef is as steekproefmetode toegepas om moontlike deelnemers aan die studie te identifiseer. Die navorser het van in-diepte onderhoudvoering, wat ook bekend staan as ongestruktureerde onderhoudvoering, as data insamelingsmetode gebruik gemaak. Een (1) oop vraag is soos volg aan die deelnemers gestel: “Wat is jou persepsies as jong volwasse man met berekking tot die impak van pornografie op jong volwasse mans?” Die navorser het ‘n voorondersoek uitgevoer om te verseker dat hierdie oop vraag voldoende geleentheid vir deelnemers skep om onbeperk te reageer. Die navorser het die volgende stappe tydens die proses van data-analise geneem: <ul> <li> Beplanning vir die opneem van data deur middel van oudio-opnames</li> <li> Bestuur en organisering van data deur middel van gedetaileerde transkripsies en die liasering daarvan in lêers</li> <li> Lees en skryf van memmo’s</li> <li>Generering van kategorieë, temas en patrone</li> <li> Verteenwoordiging, visualisering en voorstelling van data deur middel van ‘n volledige navorsingsverslag.</li></ul> Die navorsingstudie het getoon dat die verbruik van pornografie, ‘n kenmerkende impak op die lewe van jong volwasse mans mag hê. Martin Chochola PSAV2005 : Základní subjektivní a objektivní faktory ovlivňující vnímání sexuálně explicitních materiálů 2010 AABBSSTTRRAACCTT The study "I know when I see it: basic subjective and objective factors affecting the perception of sexually explicit materials" conserns the curent issue of perception of the existence, presentation and distribution of visual and audiovisual sexually explicit materials in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, the psychological significance of these materials and understanding thereof is being reviewed, in the context of society alignment, politics, technology development, religion, law, sociology and psychology. The empirical part is, by means of a mapping research, focused on those basic subjective and objective factors, that affecting directly our perception of sexually explicit materials, and represents four of these factors, that are affecting demonstrably. The aim of this diploma thesis is the relationship between pornography and new technologies. The thesis describes the technologies and related procedures which came into contact with pornographic content at an early stage of their existence and has been affected by this specific segment of the market. This paper also examines the aspects of these effects and focuses on the related penetration of these technologies among the general public. It also reflects the possible impacts on individuals and whole human society. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter focuses on videocassette recorders, a technology that has been affected by pornography in past. The second chapter summarizes the impact of pornography on the Internet, which represents the technology we encounter every day, and is often an integral part of our lives. The final chapter outlines the possible future development of relationship between pornography and new technologies.

The diploma thesis offers a concept of emotional paradigm of news. Characteristic features of contemporary news are emotional content, afectivity, and themes of violent and sexual nature. The phenomena are interpreted as a result of proliferation of emotional paradigm, i.e. a way of creating news which aims to arouse spectators. Emotional paradigm is manifested in a number of aspects - in the discourse, on a visual and auditive level or in a choice of news topics. An account of relevant psychological and neurobiological theories is also included. The thesis reviews possible implications of functioning of the paradigm. Hence, it offers an alternative interpretational frame from the media studies branch.

The thesis aims with discourse rules of dying of a close person. Author works with other theories, especially with Gorer's pornography of death and also comparisons of current situation and history of Ariés and Elias, who considered the current representations of death to be more a taboo than in the past. The practical base of the text is a research combining both in-depth interviews with young people and interpretations of closed groups, such as support group and internet discussion. The analysis identified two approaches in young people's families, focusing either on practical aspects of dying of a relative or on emotional aspects. These two approaches were in opposition against each other especially while both being present in a single family. Also, several conditions changing discourse rules were identified. The death of a young person or by suicide were more tabuized than death of an elder person. Generally, the research shows that people's view on death is not constructed by media as Gorer proposed, since young adult people have their own experience from their families. The topic of this thesis is the effect of pornography consumption on the partner sexual activity. The content of the theoretical part is the definition of pornography, history of pornography and psychological view on pornography. Furthermore, the work deals with the current psychological research concerning the influence on individual areas of sexual activity. The empirical part aims to discover the connection between the pornography consumption and sexual activity in relationships, such as frequency of sexual activities, sexual satisfaction, sexual communication and openness or repertoire and frequency of using partner sexual practices. The research was carried out using an anonymous online questionnaire, in which respondents were selected by the method of self-selection. The outcomes of the thesis could be used in relationship and sexuology counseling as a tool for deeper understanding of sexuality in relationships and for more accurate targeting of help in this area of problems. This thesis compares eroticism in the post-revolutionary work of the Czech prose writer Vladimír Páral with the bestseller Fifty Shades of Grey by the British writer E. L. James. From Páral's work, the works of Dekameron 2000 or Love in Prague, Playgirls, Book of pleasure, laughter and joy, and the Book about the whip are discussed. Also included is The Professional: Vladimír Páral about himself and other interesting things, which came out in the 1990s, but it is an autobiography. Therefore, this book will be included in the chapter on autobiographical connotations. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first one is mainly terminological, it explains the terms sex, eroticsm, pornography, erotic and pornographic literature and love. The second part deals with the authors themselves and their body of work. It is organised into sub-chapters in which specific pieces are analysed. In the case of Páral, the parallel between the Book of pleasure, laughter and joy and Kundera's Book of laughter and forgetting is also taken into account. In the case of Fifty Shades of Grey, some similarities with the erotism in Milan Kundera's work are found. This thesis deals with slash fanfiction and yaoi manga, disparate yet similar phenomena of fan culture. Yaoi manga as genre of Japanese comics created by women and dedicated to women , and slash fanfiction as women's reaction to pop culture generally made by male authors, are both genres dealing with a romantic relationship between two men characters. This relationship is portrayed as an innocent romantic story as well as a hardcore pornography. The autor aims to describe the terms and inctroduce some of the most influential approaches to research of the topic. Author is interested in the issue in the way of cultural and gender approach. Cultural perspective provides a summary of approaches of Frankfurt and Birmingham schools, clarifys point of view of Abercrombie and Longhurst and other authors on the current and future trends in development of audiences. Mapping the internet, important space for the fan communitiy, is also a part of this paper. Gender perspective provides a description of the points of view on the women's status in popular culture, explains the motivation of the readers/authors related to the issue of homosexuality, and describes opinions of different feminisms about pornography. Research among fangirls and fanboys or authors of slash fanfiction and yaoi manga is included.
