Dělení se zbytkem jako diagnostický nástroj kognitivních schopností českých žáků / Division with remainders as a diagnostic tool for studying cognitive skills of Czech pupils

Kotrbatá, Jana January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with the algorithm of division with a remainder in connection with the development of cognitive abilities of Czech pupils. Due to the usual inclusion of this thematic unit (division with a remainder) in the third year of primary school, theoretically focused chapters dedicated to human ontogenesis, with regard to the child's cognitive development and educational system in the Czech Republic, are incorporated. From the thematic perspective, the work analyzes selected comprehensive series of textbooks for first grade of primary school, differentiating the exercises from propaedeutic through an introduction and application to non-standard tasks. Thesis examines the commonalities and differences in the concept of the analyzed textbooks by various authors. One of the criteria is the evaluation of approach to teaching based on identifying elements of constructivism or transmission. Another objective of the work is a research of selected problem-solving strategies of students dealing with tasks comprising division with a remainder. Solution methods were obtained by assigning of diagnostic test to pupils of a first grade of primary school. KEYWORDS division with a remainder, a primary school aged child, cognitive development of a child, teaching styles - transmission, constructivism,...

Frazeologie na 1. stupni základní školy / Phraseology at Primary School

Vancová, Klára January 2020 (has links)
The thesis focuses on primary school pupils, specifically on the pupils of the second educational period, whose knowledge and understanding of folk phrasal idioms are examined. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of important terms in the field of phraseology, such as the definition and characteristics of a phrasal idiom, its function, possible ways of phrasal idoms classification and various variants and updates of phrasal idioms. Furthermore, the thesis explores the influence of the social background, from which a pupil comes, on the knowledge of phrasal idioms. The thesis also addresses possible ways how a primary school can influence pupil's knowledge of folk phrasal idioms and understanding them. The practical part of the thesis includes the main survey, where the research method is quantitative. The survey is conducted through open-ended questionnaires. The total number of respondents, who participated in the main survey, is 301. Respondents attend both municipal schools, which are in Prague as well as in other cities, and smaller schools in villages. Based on the analysis of textbooks, it is assumed that pupils have a greater opportunity to encounter folk phrasal idioms than cultural phrasal idioms. For this reason, the practical part of the thesis focuses only on...

Propedeutika kartézské souřadnicové soustavy a rozvoj funkčního myšlení žáků 1. stupně ZŠ / Propedeutics of cartesian coordinate system and the development of functional thinking of primary school pupils

Ročák, Štěpán January 2018 (has links)
This thesis didactically maps and describes new didactical mathematic environment and the possibilities of its application in teaching in the first grade of primary education. In this thesis I describe the process of an experiment conducted with pupils of the 1st - 5th year of elementary school, with whom I have tried and verified a series of new environment exercises. Based on the reflection of this experiment, and the analysis of pupils' solutions, I formulated a final version of these exercises. I led the process of the whole experiment in line with the constructivist educational style. In the theory part, I am mentioning the important terms of mathematics and its didactics, that are necessary for the purposes of this thesis, and that I refer to the relevant professional literature. This thesis also contains the analysis of chosen textbook collections that are related to its topic. The last part of this thesis is the final and complete series of exercises useful for teaching mathematics in the 1st grade of elementary school, especially if the teacher aims to purposefully develop the pupils' understanding of the terminology and relations from the mathematical areas of analytic geometry, functions and sequences.

The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical, part is given deffiniton off basic terms related to the topic. In the second, practical, part is described whole cours and results of tests, which I gave to the pupils. Based on these test I have answered predefined research questions.

Analýza řešitelských procesů kombinatorických úloh u žáků v 1. období raně školního věku / Analysis of solving processes of combinatorial problems at primary school (grade 1 - 3)

Tomešová, Lenka January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with combinatorics in primary school teaching methods. The theoretical part is focused on characterisation of mathematical field of combinatorics, briefly describes it's historical evolution and basic types of combinatorial problems. This theoretical knowledge is further supplemented by an analysis of utilization rate of combinatorics in curiculative documents, selected textbooks and mathematical contests for primary school pupils. An essential part of the theoretical part of the work are chapters dealing with solving combinatorial problems. The practical part is based on research of solving combinatorial proceses on tasks for primary school pupils. KEYWORDS Combinatorics, combinatorial problem, typology of combinatorial problems, primary school pupil, solving peoceses, analysis of pupils'solving processes, number of solutions

Identifisering en meting van emosies by die primêreskoolleerder / The identification and measurement of the emotions of the primary school pupil

Bodenstein, Hermanus Carel Andries 03 1900 (has links)
Text in Afrikaans / No specific measuring instrument to determine the emotions of primary school Pupils exists. There is nevertheless a dire need for a reliable measuring instrument for this purpose. Initially a literature study was undertaken and emotions from the developmental stages of primary school pupils were identified and described. An existing instrument of measurement for personality, the Emotions Profile Index (EPI), was adapted and implemented as a new measurement instrument to determine the emotions of primary learners. Questionnaires were completed by the parents of 144 grade 3 and 4 pupils during an empirical investigation. The degree of reliability of the new measurement instrument is particularly high. Stanines were developed for each of the different emotions. The conclusion arrived at is that the education psychologist can implement the newly adapted EPI as diagnostic instrument and conduct the planning of his therapy accordingly / Daar bestaan nie 'n sp sifieke meetinstrument wat primere leerders se emosies kan bepaal nie. / Educational Studies / M. These lessons support communication, cooperation and individual abilities of all pupils. Beacause of that children absorb basic methods of drama education. I tried to create these lessons for every teacher, even if drama it's not their topic. The practical part also includes my results and elaborated suggestions for further lessons. These results describe pupil's progress and evaluation. The practical part includes a description of my own action research as well. The action research is followed by its evaluation and questionnaire survey as to how the methods...
