The research narrates the history of the construction of the condominiums, the process of elaboration of the program and the daily life of the beneficiários e beneficiárias in the residential Jardim Araucária and Novo Horizonte, that make neighborhood with the older residents and also with members of the gypsy community of the ethnic group calon, which are neighbors of the condominiums. In addition, the presence and performance of the institutional arrangements that accompany urban public policy (CRAS, CEU, PSF, PMJ) is described from this intersection with the beneficiary life and the housing dynamics established. It focuses on the production of subjectivities in the field of popular housing policies, focusing on the beneficiary experiences and their relations with the management mechanisms, including discussions about the house, the production of territories, tactics of deprivation, forms of government and the notion of debt in these spatial reconfigurations that traverse the physical, political, and affective structures of those who experience it / Produção etnográfica que apresenta os desdobramentos da pesquisa de campo realizada em um empreendimento do Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida (PMCMV), na zona leste da cidade de Poços de Caldas (MG). A pesquisa narra o histórico da construção dos condomínios, o processo de elaboração do programa e o cotidiano dos beneficiários e beneficiárias nos residenciais Jardim Araucária e Novo Horizonte, que fazem bairro com os moradores mais antigos e também com membros da comunidade cigana da etnia calon, que são vizinhos dos condomínios. Além disso, a presença e atuação dos dispositivos institucionais que acompanham a política pública urbana (CRAS, CEU, PSF, PMJ) é descrita a partir desse cruzamento com a vida beneficiária e as dinâmicas de habitação instauradas. Atenta-se à produção de subjetividades no campo das políticas de habitação popular, com foco nas experiências beneficiárias e suas relações com os mecanismos de gestão, incluindo discussões acerca da casa, a produção de territórios, táticas destituintes, formas de governo e a noção de dívida nessas reconfigurações espaciais que atravessam estruturas físicas, políticas e afetivas daqueles que a experienciam
